My dear friends, we love you so very much,
Breathe dear ones, you are all loved beyond anything you can possibly imagine. You are supported in the heavens in ways that are beyond belief. Your only task is to surrender to your heart in each moment, to do what you know to do, and find the joy therein. In a vibration of love, joy, or peace, you allow the universe to help you. In a vibration of fear, worry, or doubt, you block the love that is ever-present and always trying to reach you.
Consider a small thing, such as a tiny cut on your finger. There are so many cells affected – skin cells, nerve cells, blood cells, immune system cells… and the list goes on. Built into your very body, and indeed into each tiny cell is an internal guidance system. "Help! We are cut!” The skin cells alert the nerve cells. The nerve cells alert the brain. Chemical processes are initiated as well. The physical vehicle, with all its miraculous systems working in miraculous harmony, alerts immune cells and cells that help the blood clot. There are nations of cells alerted, mobilized, and coordinated simply to stop the bleeding, prevent infection, and imitate the healing process.
Now, what if the skin cells were to suddenly say, “Oh no! I’ve been cut! I don’t know how to heal! I don’t know what to do! I am all alone!” They begin to attempt to stretch across the chasm and heal themselves. The body is trying to contact them! "We’re here. There are nerves, blood, brain, chemicals, all trying to help you! There is a higher intelligence in charge! Relax. Do as guided! You are not alone!" The cells relax, listen to their guidance, trust all will be well, and the body heals. If they insisted, however, on attempting to heal all by themselves, then dear ones… you would find them in the same situation that some of you encounter at times – feeling lost, confused, alone, and unclear about what to do next.
So, when you have a life challenge of any sort, be it financial, health, relationship, career, or a gazillion other things that can arise there upon your earth, think of yourself as a tiny and yet important cell in the body of God. You have a system built into your very spirit that cries out, like a child, for help. Sometimes you pray with words. Sometimes you pray with desire. Sometimes you pray with frustration by focusing on what you do not want, but beneath that very thought is the desire for what you do. Always and forever, you send out a signal to the universe, “Help!” You can count on the fact, that the universe begins to answer.
The minute you have a desire thousands of “cells” in the body of God are mobilized. Angels are brought to help you by sending you energy to uplift you, help you, heal you, and guide you. Other human beings whose creations are harmonious with yours are given urges and instincts. A solution is formed in the mind of God for every desire, every challenge, and every problem you face. You need only “get out of the way.” By this we mean, you need only rest in the knowing that help is on the way.
When you feel fearful that you don’t know how to manage something, remind yourself God does. When you feel doubt that your dreams will come true, remind yourself, if you have a sliver of faith the universe can move mountains. When you feel sad, angry, frustrated, or confused, stop, breathe. Look around and find any one small thing to notice and be grateful for in the present moment, and in that single instant of surrendering to love you open to goodness and guidance once again.
Dear ones, you are never alone. Solutions are waiting for you to relax and allow for the guidance. Dreams are waiting to be fulfilled. You need only relax into the here and now, notice the love, feel the goodness all around you, breathe deeply, and remember that the universe is, as you say, “on it!”
God Bless You! We love you so very much.
-- The Angels
I had to laugh at the angel message. I’m channeling this newsletter on a Monday. I am that cell….
I was up late last night working and went to bed very happy, feeling God’s love, after doing my mantras and prayers. I slept wonderfully well, but woke up with my ribs off kilter and in pretty intense pain! God knows what aerobics I was doing in my sleep but thankfully a few yoga moves got things back on track. It only took an extra half hour, but of course the angels had awakened me a half hour before my alarm. So far, so good! It was still a great day!
I ran to the post office and forgot it was closed due to the holiday. When you’re self-employed you forget those things. "Ok, breathe. I can go tomorrow." Back at home I was working on my web page for the October class in Sedona when I accidentally hit a wrong button and lost a days’ work. "Breathe." The site is being restored as I write, and I’ll be able to recreate the work later. I was doing a pretty good job of staying present and allowing the universe to help me with all these minor frustrations, when an insurance quote came in.
Apparently a leak in my roof was partially due to aging rather than disaster and I was told I'll have to pay more than I originally thought for the repair. Furthermore, it may not get fixed before this weekend's predicted rain! I'd like to say I felt immediately, completely confident that all would be well but after the morning of disappointments, I spiraled out of the present moment into a flurry of “what if’s” and “how will I’s” and “can I” and “when” and….
My head started to spin, until I breathed deeply and remembered Truth. God loves me. Angels love me. I have guidance, for goodness sake, and this was all human stuff that comes and goes. My ego just wanted what it wanted today. The ego didn’t want another bill. The ego didn’t want to have to figure out how to schedule insurance repairs. The ego doesn't want to have to put a bucket in the bathroom to catch the most convenient leak I've ever had!
Now, however, it didn’t matter what the ego wanted because the soul had deeper desires – peace, comfort, love, and assistance, and all were available to me right here and right now.
So, I breathed again. I stopped and looked around at the beautiful day and remembered that these things were all very small in the greater scheme of life – very small indeed compared to the challenges I see every day in so many lives. "Ok, God, you’re in charge. What shall I do next?” The feeling to run to the computer and do the newsletter was so strong. The angel messages “poured” through me! My message is coming much more quickly than usual as well!
Human challenges come and go. Some are bigger than others. Some take a long time to heal or fix. Some change our lives permanently. Hopefully as time passes and we surrender to the gifts more deeply, we become better for it.
The tough challenges I’ve faced over the years have all taught me that when I don’t know how, God does. When I can’t figure something out, a higher intelligence is there doing it for me. When I don’t know who to call, I will be guided. I no longer ever feel alone. The entire universe is coordinated and cares about my needs. I know that now. I know how to “get out of the way.” The universe cares about your needs too.
Sometimes we just have to relinquish control over how life looks. Sometimes we have to dig deep and find faith and trust that everything works for the better. Honestly today’s challenges weren’t much compared to major life and death health challenges I’ve faced, the losses in life, the people who hated me, etc. All those things made today look like a piece of cake.
Even in the midst of circumstances that don’t look all neat and tidy and wonderful, it is possible to experience a beautiful reality in which you truly tap into and feel the love that is always there, and receive the guidance that is ever present.
In that reality, we’re happy. Isn’t that why we wanted control in the first place? I think I may just be a lot happier when I’m not in charge.
I'll trust God on the timing of the repair. I'll skip my lunch tomorrow and get to the post office. Perhaps I’ll even make time to cook some delicious food for the week while the website is resurrected. My cells will thank me. After all, they’ve been talking to God too!
Here are a few pointers to help you “get out of the way” when you feel challenged in life.
1. Do what you know to do… in the moment
This seems obvious, but when you first face a challenge or want to manifest something just sit quietly and say, “I am who I am.” Acknowledge all your feelings and desires. “Life is what it is.” Acknowledge the circumstances around you. “What next?” Wait for a feeling, a thought, or a knowing and then act upon it. If nothing comes, relax and enjoy the day knowing you will be guided.
For example, say your car breaks down. "I am who I am.” You feel frustrated. Perhaps you feel you should have taken it into the shop when you had the urge last week. Perhaps you are upset because you’ll miss a meeting. Just acknowledge the feelings.
“Life is what it is.” The car is not working. You may miss a meeting. You may have a bill. So be it. “What next?” Perhaps you get an urge to call a friend, a tow, or a repair shop. Maybe you get no guidance now so you sit cluelessly until someone stops to help and lo and behold you meet the love of your life! I’ve seen stories like these.
Last but not least, trust that this is for some good reason – that love is behind it all. Maybe you get the urge to look at new cars as a result of this. Maybe you miss a meeting that would have been a waste of time or upsetting, or maybe you miss an accident that could have changed your life. You never know. No matter what kind of messes we get ourselves into, love is waiting to reveal itself once again!
2. Surrender control and Assume the best
Life does not always look the way I want it to look. Being an Aries that’s been a tough pill to swallow at times. However, I have grudgingly acknowledged over the years that the universe Is a much better place because I do not run it! Seriously, we all "want what we want when we want” quite often, and yet there is an intelligence that is so far beyond ours that it runs universes, changes seasons, directs the body and entire ecosystems. I often wonder now, how we somehow still think we need to figure everything out :)
So, at those times when you don’t know what to do and life doesn’t look the way you want, surrender! It is what it is. You can’t change what is already in front of you. You can accept it or resist it, but resistance is a waste of time.
Acceptance brings peace. Assuming the best brings peace. Surrendering to the fact that you’re not in control in that moment brings peace…. And with peace, comes clearer guidance that allows higher intelligence to be in control… always with love, always on your behalf, always to fulfill your dreams and help you solve your challenges.
It isn’t a bad idea to read the serenity prayer often to remind yourself:
God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
Courage to change the things I can,
And wisdom to know the difference.
– Reinhold Niebuhr).
This is true lasting peace.
3. Enjoy the journey
This is not always easy. Today is not what I planned. I don’t know how or when the roof will be fixed. I don’t know how or when the website will be back up. I don’t know how I will achieve all the things I wanted to achieve today. So, I’m giving up control, waiting for guidance and after this I’m off to the kitchen to prepare meals for the week. Perhaps that will make me feel so happy the rest of the work will get done more quickly later. Life after all is in each moment.
Remind yourself often, “The only thing that matters is my connection to love. That is why I am here on earth, and that, ultimately is the only thing on my soul’s to-do list!
May all your challenges be solved in grace and all your dreams flow to you in grace!
Love you all!
