2020 Aries Full Moon

From his corner of the Universe Mercury called out “I am losing my mind and cannot find it anywhere I have looked. Can anyone help?” All he heard was silence. Then deep from within the nether world he heard Mars answer “Hi Merc, sorry buddy I cannot help. I have lost my power to take action and I am feeling frustrated and angry. I have been retracing my steps but have not found it yet. Maybe we are being asked to change the way we do things”. Then in a deep firm voice Pluto spoke from the Underworld. “Mars you are travelling backward in my domain. Currently in the world of the two leggeds misuse of power is predominate. You are learning how teach humans the right use of will. You will still be here for a while discovering anger and conflict is not the answer”. Then Pluto turned his attention to Mercury. “You are the planet of the mind. Duality is rampant in the human world at this timing. You will be entering my domain soon to heal and release the old way of thinking. You will experience transformation and see a new vision. Then you will be a Wayshower for humans to unite in unity and love and create the new world”.

Mercury (our thoughts and perceptions) in Scorpio (healing and transformation) is esoterically linked to Mars Rx (life force energy) in Aries (creative inspiration). In Esoteric astrology (Ancient Wisdom Teachings) Mercury is the Soul Centered ruler of Aries and Mars is the Soul Centered ruler of Scorpio. Spiritually they are in mutual reception. They are working together to help us become empowered and transform the old ways of thinking and doing things and embrace a new consciousness. They are co-rulers of this Aries Full Moon. Pluto Rx in Capricorn (healing, release, and transformation of society) will guide Mercury as he retrogrades in Scorpio Oct 13 to Nov 03. And yes Pluto got demoted from planet to dwarf planet in 2006 but he does not care what we call him. He is The Transformer who tears down the old structures that no longer work and creates space for rebirth and renewal. He has been retrograde in Capricorn since April 24 and will move forward Oct 04. The same day he went retrograde Mercury was in Aries (new inspired vision) and squared Pluto (motivation for change and finding new ways of thinking). And so the challenge to find that new way continues.

This Aries Full Moon is the blossoming time for what we initiated at the Aries New Moon of March 24, 2020. That New Moon was merged with Chiron, the healer, in Aries (healing the wounds from the past and living from the Authentic Self). It is an understatement to say HEALING has been the journey. Chiron again is prominent at this Aries Full Moon. He is Rx at 07 degrees Aries and the Moon and Earth are at 09 degrees Aries. He says more healing into wholeness is required so Mother Earth can heal. Mars retrograde is the guide. And as mentioned earlier he is in the Underworld (healing, release, and transformation) until Nov 13. This Full Moon is about completion and releasing the ways that will no longer serve our new vision.  Mars Rx is square (motivation for change) Jupiter, Pluto, and Saturn in Capricorn (transformation of society).

This Full Moon also focuses on relationship healing. The Moon in Aries is self and the Sun in Libra is the other. Libra asks us to find inner balance to create harmony in all our relating. Venus at 28 degrees Leo (the compassionate heart) is the ruler of the Sun. She is trined (removal of obstacles) by Mars Rx at 24 Aries and she is sextiled (new opportunity) by the North Node at 22 degrees Gemini (choosing to unite in love). But the Soul Centered ruler for the Libra Sun is Uranus Rx at 09 degrees Taurus (focusing on what is of true value and breaking free from what is not). We mentioned earlier Mercury is the Soul Centered ruler of the Aries Moon. He is currently at 04 degrees Scorpio travelling with Juno at 03 degrees Scorpio (transformation of relationship challenges) and they are opposite Uranus in Taurus (finding mutual values that support breakthrough). The opposition (conflict or resolution) between Mercury and Uranus will be exact Oct 07 (and again Oct 19 when Mercury is retrograde. And they oppose each other with Mercury now direct on Nov 17). Pay attention to what comes up at this Full Moon and with the first opposition. Thankfully Venus guides Uranus. Loving kindness for all. Mars is the Soul guide for Mercury, right action. The time coming up in the next few weeks is going to be intense. Stay heart centered.

The Universe is always sending us messages if we just listen and watch. (They are reversed for the Southern Hemisphere). Mercury in Scorpio is guided by Snake, shedding the old that no longer serves us, and The Phoenix, resurrection and rebirth. For Uranus in Taurus we are guided by Beaver, clearing the clutter and building the new. (They too are reversed for the Southern Hemisphere). But wherever you are if you call on the Animal Totems they will walk with you on your journey.

On Oct 02 Venus (love and beauty) enters Virgo (mind, body, spirit healing). She will be there until Oct 27. In Virgo she is the Rainbow Bridge of Healing into Wholeness. It is time for all of us to cross that bridge.
