2018 Aug 12/13 Mars retrograde re-enters Capricorn

When a retrograde planet moves backward into a previous sign we look at the timeframe when the planet first travelled that sign before the actual retrograde motion. Mars was at 28/29 degrees Capricorn May 12 to 16. That is when he entered his retrograde shadow. He will now revisit those degrees until Sept 10/11. We have a chance to revisit whatever we were experiencing in that May timeframe. In his highest expression this Mars Rx journey is Cosmic Visionary (in Aquarius). In Capricorn he activates us to become empowered in the world and follow our dreams and Soul Vision.

On May 16 we had the first square (finding new ways of doing things) between Mars (action) and Uranus (breakthrough). This was a Fourth Quarter Square of revision and realignment. Uranus in Taurus has been asking us to focus on what is of true value and importance and release what is not. Mars in Aquarius (the sign he went retrograde in on June 26) was asking us to be open to the guidance from the Universe as we take action. The second square (motivation for change) was Aug 01. Now that Mars has retrograded back into Capricorn we are very much in the revision phase. When he moves forward on Aug 27 the realignment phase becomes the focus.

So think about what you have been ready to release and focus on doing that between now and Aug 27. When Mars begins to move forward again you have made space for the new. On Sept 10/11 Mars re-enters Aquarius. The last Fourth Quarter Square between Mars and Uranus is Sept 18. Become the Cosmic Visionary and share your wisdom.
