This is an interesting day. The Pisces Moon entered a 20 hour Void period at 6.33 am EDT when she was sextile Pluto (transformational healing). We are in the Void period until April 06 at 2.46 am EDT. Usually when the Moon is Void (not talking to the other planets) it is a quiet time for introspection. But not this time. The other planets are making big shifts. At 12.09 pm EDT the Sun in Aries was trine (easy energy) Saturn in Sagittarius giving us support to strengthen the spiritual foundation in our lives. THIS IS IMPORTANT FOR VENUS IS ABOUT TO ENTER A CYCLE OF INSPIRED NEW BEGINNINGS.   

Venus enters Aries- Apr 05- 12.50 pm EDT to Apr 29- 8.36 pm EDT- Whenever a planet enters the sign of Aries it begins a cycle of awakening us to new inspired beginnings. While Venus visits here it is the opportunity to express our creativity guided by innovation and inspiration. Aries is the sign that needs that feeling of new beginnings. Venus is the planet of creative expression guided by imagination. So during her visit here let yourself soar to new heights. This new Venus cycle takes us to Feb 03, 2017. The Clan Mother for Aries is Looks Far Woman, the guardian of visions, dreams, and inner potential. She is the keeper of the Crack in the Universe and the Golden Door to Illumination. She teaches us to See The Truth. This is particularly important when it comes to relationship. You can find more of her story in The 13 Original Clan Mothers and Earth Medicine, both by Jamie Sams.

Venus is also the planet of our awareness of others and our relationship experience. She embodies love and harmony. But in Aries she loves “falling in love” and can be quite impulsive. If you meet someone new while Venus visits Aries make sure you, and the other person, are being your authentic selves. If you are in relationship it is the opportunity to relate in a more authentic way.  Mars, the other relationship planet, will retrograde (revision) on Apr 17 until June 29 giving us all the opportunity to heal and restore our relationship connections. Mars is the traditional ruler of Aries so he plays an important part while Venus visits here. What is required is balance between self and other. That can happen when you are true to yourself.

Our Animal Totem guides for Venus in Aries are Falcon, clear vision, and Red Tailed Hawk, spiritual messenger. Pay attention to the messages you are receiving from Great Mystery regarding your new path. Venus in Aries activates the 7^th Ray of Ceremonial Magic and Invocation and Prayer with Archangels Zadkiel and Amethyst, keepers of the Violet Flame of Transmutation and Forgiveness, as our guides. We are also working with the 1^st Ray of Divine Will and Power with Archangels Michael, protector and spiritual guide, and Faith, trust and belief in our Divine Self.    

Mercury enters Taurus- Apr 05- 7.09 pm EDT to June 12- 7.22 pm EDT- Usually Mercury spends about 3 weeks in an astrological sign but notice he will be in Taurus for 2+ months. That is because he will go on one of his retrograde journeys April 28 to May 22. He will be in Taurus for the whole time. Just before Mercury shifted into Taurus the Pisces Void Moon met with Chiron in Pisces (personal healing and healing the world wound). This sets the tone for the Mercury journey. Remember Mercury is the planet that influences our thoughts and perceptions and therefore how we create our reality, both on the physical and spiritual planes.

In Taurus he asks us to focus on what is of true value and importance in our lives. Taurus is a symbol for our personal assets, our sense of self-worth, and how we feel secure when we are connected to our inner empowerment. Beaver, clearing the old and building the new. Is our Animal Totem guide. When Mercury is retrograde we have the opportunity to “clear out our closets” on the physical, mental, and emotional levels. Taurus is the Growing Time but if we do not make space for growth it cannot happen. From now until April 28 focus on defining what is of true value so you can release what is not during the retrograde. Our planetary guide is Venus, loving the self.

Our Clan Mother guide is Listening Woman, the guardian of the Stillness and Inner Knowing. She teaches us to hear the truth. When we listen to our inner knowing we are being guided by our Soul Wisdom. Mercury in Taurus is active on the 4^th Ray of Harmony Through Conflict. It is also the Ray of Beauty and Harmony. While Mercury journeys through Taurus the Archangels who guide us are Gabriel, resurrection, and Hope, never giving up on yourself.  We will write more about this Mercury in Taurus journey in the next few weeks.
