2021 Sun visits Gemini- May 20- 3.37 pm EDT to June 20- 11.32 pm EDT

Each time a planet enters a new sign it activates the opportunity to focus on the gifts of that sign and shine our special light. The Sun is individuality, aspirations, and goals. Spiritually it is The Circle of Spirit. Sun entering Gemini activates a very inspirational Sabian Symbol (An Astrological Mandala by Dane Rudhyar). “A glass-bottomed boat reveals undersea wonders”.

The feeling is one of wonder. “I did not know this could exist. How beautiful! How exciting” A NEW DIMENSION OF REALITY is perceived by the earnest inquirer. Gemini is our thoughts, perceptions, and how we communicate. During this Gemini time we want to make sure what we think and say reflects that new dimension. The Sacred Animal Totem for Gemini is the Butterfly, transformation.

In the Northern Hemisphere this is the Flowering Time on our Medicine Wheel. The beauty of the canopy of fresh green leaves on the Tree People, the richness of the Planet People growing toward Grandfather Sun, and the splashes of amazing colours of the Flower People share their beauty with us. The seeds we planted and cared for are blossoming.  Our Animal Totem guide for the Sun’s journey through Gemini is Deer, a call to new adventure, but also empathy and compassion for all. The Astrological Earth is in Sagittarius and is guided by Elk, stamina and strength, and Owl, the wisdom to discern the truth. In the Southern Hemisphere this is your Long Nights and Hibernation Time. Looking within to discover your truth is the focus. The Animal Totems are reversed for you. 

For all of us we are working with the Tarot Constellation of The Lovers, relationship and choice. It is the opportunity to heal issues of duality (very dominant in the world right now). When we choose to unite in Love, instead of separating in fear, we can change our world and the world. Gemini is the 2^nd Ray of Love Wisdom, with Archangels Jophiel and Constance Christine, the power of Illumination. And I would add Inspiration.

The Sun in Gemini is guided by Mercury in Gemini already in his retrograde shadow (his actual retrograde is May 29 to June 22). Mercury Rx gives us the opportunity to redefine our thoughts and perceptions. It is the opportunity to create our new story. Venus is the Soul Centered ruler (Esoteric Astrology) of Gemini and she has been visiting her Soul Home since May 08. She reminds us Love is the answer. She will meet with Mercury the day he retrogrades emphasizing “Be loving Kindness” in all you do. Saturn in Aquarius moves retrograde May 23 until Oct 10 asking us to redefine our sense of inner power so we feel empowered in the world.

We also are in Eclipse season. May 26 a Super Full Moon Total Eclipse in Sagittarius completes the last six months. Let go of whatever blocks you from living your spiritual vision. June 10 is a ring of fire New Moon Eclipse in Gemini that influences us until Dec. Focus on that new dimension of reality you have created.
