Your inner child is reawakening. Can you feel her, or him? Have you noticed that she wants to play more?  She may come to you as a little voice inside your head or even you laughing or squealing with delight. She or he may even be calling you mommy or daddy at times.

Do you find that you are more and more in the moment? Have you had the urge to skip, at least in the privacy of your own home?

Even if you have never had children this lifetime, you may find yourself being very nurturing towards him. You may find yourself listening more to this little being. They are talking to you more and more. Asking you questions, commenting on things. She may look at other people, children, dogs and cats, trees and just about anything with fresh eyes.

He may be asking you to do something that you normally would not do. Something really fun. Or eat something really delicious. Savoring each bite. Unabashedly devouring an ice cream. She may get excited about choosing something to wear, and just going out for some shopping or coffee with you. I hope you are enjoying her. Cherishing him. Doing everything and anything you can to make sure that he feels happy and safe. Because that little child is part of your Divinity. She is a part of your soul. She believes in magic and that all is possible as long as you allow her to freely imagine. She loves you so much. He adores you. He is so happy that you no longer have a need to keep him in a closet, and only let him out on certain occasions. She is delighted that now you are allowing her to be with you all the time.

And if you still have resistance to allowing your inner child room to play and create, that’s o.k.  It’s coming.  Just continue doing things that bring you a sense of fun.  Pay less attention to the inner critic that tells you that you are being frivolous.  Your inner child is there and can be accessed at any time. And when you do feel her, allow yourself to be that child.  You are balanced enough now in your energies to not let her or him rule the roost.  You know how to acknowledge her and enjoy that energy in a balanced way.  So just relax and allow that part of you to emerge.  Sometimes she may be angry, or sad, but more and more you will find that she is just filled with joy and enthusiasm for life.

Here’s a great scene from the movie, Groundhog Day, where Bill Murray imbibes in all sorts of pastries, coffee and smoking, that comes close to summing up what we can look forward after we integrate our light body.  And as we let go of worry and ‘shoulds’. And Andie MacDowell beautifully expresses that old energy, controlling, judgemental mind.
