Your intuition can speak to you in many ways. It’s not just pictures in your mind or ideas popping into your head. While this is a common occurrence for many people, and probably the most widely read about on the internet, it’s not the ONLY way Spirit has to communicate with us.

(And when I say Spirit, I am referring to any of your helpers in Spirit. That can include your Higher Self, your Spirit Guides or anyone else on your Spiritual Committee, like any Angels or Ascended Masters. You have lots of helpers all around you just waiting to assist you.)

First, it’s important to understand exactly WHAT intuition is. Intuition is defined as “the ability to understand something immediately, without the need for conscious reasoning.” It’s true, our intuition can guide us very clearly in making decisions and help us find clarity when we feel like we are lost in a sea of overwhelm. It’s easy to get there, believe me, especially when you have information and possibilities coming at you from all angles.

This is exactly why it’s so very important to understand HOW your intuition communicates with you – how you receive messages – so you can follow them and find the answers you are looking for.

But here’s the thing…

Intuitive messages can come in ANY form. You can get images or ideas pop into your head. You can hear songs play in your mind. You can get physical feelings or sensations in any form. You could get an idea to search for something in Google and it might lead you to an article or website that has information you need. A friend might happen to call you up and tell you something that leads you to somewhere you need to be. You just have to be open to hearing and receiving guidance in ANY form. Rest assured Spirit will use the best means to get through to you – the one you are able to receive most clearly through.

I know for myself, personally, it works something like this…

When I’m trying to make a decision, I usually find myself exploring every possible option and pros and cons to each. I also have to consider what fits my lifestyle and circumstances the best out of all the options. Most of the time, that’s easier said than done. I usually make a decision and then move forward in the direction that seems to fit the best for me at the time.

What also happens, and I think this is one of the biggest signs people miss when their intuition is speaking to them, is that I will also get “gut” feelings. This happens particularly when I’m moving ahead too fast or perhaps in the wrong direction. Sometimes those “gut” feelings are too strong to ignore. It might feel like there is something very “wrong” with the direction I have chosen, or I might just keep finding “reasons” why it’s not a good fit for me anymore.

What this usually means is that I need to reevaluate and readjust my course. It doesn’t mean that I’m going in the wrong direction, necessarily, even though it might feel like it momentarily. It does mean, however, that I need to take a closer look at why I’m feeling like I am, and above all, listen to my “gut,” because that is either my Higher Self or my Spirit Guides sending me a message. That message could mean ANYTHING – it could be a warning of things to come, or maybe just a message that I need to do something differently. Regardless, the most important thing is to slow down and listen.

REMEMBER, messages can come from ANYONE, ANYWHERE, ANY TIME in ANY FORM.
