Harmonizing with the Heavens

Harmonizing with the Heavens

Greetings, Luminous One!

As you probably know, we're in the midst of what's known as the Lion's Gate portal, which happens every year sometime between 7/28 and 8/12, but is celebrated tomorrow on 8/8.

Supposedly, it's "the opening of a rare window between the spiritual and physical worlds that takes place as the Sun in Leo, the star Sirius (our brightest star), the Orion's Belt constellation, and the planet Earth all come into alignment." (Kate Rose)

Can we harmonize with a star?

Here's what I shared for the Infinity Circle:

Sirius (the Dog Star) will finally emerge from behind the Sun and start to be visible above the eastern horizon just before sunrise, from which its high-level cosmic energies can more directly reach Earth. Called the heliacal rising of Sirius, these higher frequencies are said to offer illumination and insight, and to activate new levels of transformation for the collective, as well as for each of us individually.

Each year, the reemergence of Sirius is linked to the Sun's transit through the sign of Leo the Lion, the zodiac sign that rules our physical heart. Our Solar Sun is considered our physical sun, while Sirius is represents our Spiritual Sun, and works with the heart chakra and thymus gland (high heart chakra), carrying with it the qualities of love and wisdom, rebirth, abundance, spiritual advancement, and a shift into a higher state of consciousness. While our Sun is responsible for beaming down life for our physical bodies, especially when it’s in its ruling sign of Leo, Sirius is responsible for beaming down life for our spiritual bodies.

"You can think of Sirius energy as a key, helping to unlock greater awareness, our destiny, new layers of our soul contract, and light codes that we came to this Earth to explore and work with." - Author unknown

#8 Strength Tarot Card

In numerology, the number 8 represents power and strength, and the ambition and ability to achieve one’s life's goals. The number 8 card of the major arcana of the tarot is Strength, which symbolizes emotional wisdom and control. Appropriately enough, the image on the traditional Strength card shows a woman stroking a lion (Leo).

The number 8 can also be viewed as the infinity symbol on its side; this fact is often woven into the meaning of the number, infusing it with the mystical qualities of unlimited potential and infinite wisdom. It is believed on this day we can integrate the high-frequency energies of Sirius straight into our being.

On top of all this, the number 88, being a double 8, is considered a master number. It signifies a healthy balance between the physical and the spiritual, success on all levels, and the ability to look inward for answers & spiritual intelligence. In Chinese culture, the number 88 symbolizes fortune and good luck. As an "angel number," 88 is said to represent spiritual blessings from an abundant universe.

While I find all that fascinating, I also want us to keep our feet firmly planted on the ground. So, I did a little digging about this annual occurrence and found that the only historical connection to it is from Egypt, which celebrated Sirius's "return" as the beginning of the farming season and the birth of a new year.

And because those Egyptians were an exact sort of people, they chose to recognize it on the specific day it appeared, which changed from year to year. In 2022, it happens on Aug 12.

Now, that's not to say that all the hype about the Lion's Gate is completely unfounded - we know we're connected to everything, and so it only makes sense that when our brightest star comes back into view, it affects us.

But let's sense into it as individuals and feel what the moment actually holds for each of us, rather than what lots of people say it should be. I'm curious about what you'll pick up...

What I DO know is that the Sun is in full reign right now and even came in to give a magnificent meditation during the Infinity Circle last week! (For a full replay, click HERE).

To be in harmony with the Sun's energy is a beautiful thing, even when it's blazing hot outside. (Best to connect with the sun in the early morning hours when it's the most potent, but less hot.)

And on the 12th, let's try harmonizing with Sirius to see what happens!

Please join me tomorrow night and watch for the Monday invitation because a special 8.8 offer will be included!

Love and infinite blessings,
Hope
