APRIL 2021

RUNE OF THE MONTH: Isa “Reflection”. A month to stand still and ask ourselves real questions about our lives: What is important to us? What have we accomplished so far? What are we proud of? What do we need to rectify? What dreams do we still have? As we come to a stop, we also get the chance to become clear on where to go from there. Following the freezing over of the soil, a new growth emerges.

Pluto turns retrograde on Tuesday 4/27 at 1:04 PM till October 6, 2021, at 26º48’ Capricorn. Its shadow period continues until January 26, 2022. The degree traveled in April is symbolized by “Pilgrims climbing the steep steps leading to a mountain shrine”. There isn’t necessarily more darkness in the world, but it certainly is more visible. And the more humanity awakens to its divine truth, the more darkness bubbles to the surface needing to be cleared. The goal is the victory of The Truth and the enlightenment of humanity. This great awakening comes with growing pains. If fusion with the divine were easy, we would be there already. Becoming all we can be in our divinity is attained through consistent effort and the willingness to sacrifice our immediate comfort for our highest good.

Good for spending more time at home, cooking, nurturing ourselves and those we love, inviting the people we cherish over for dinner. Moon in Leo between Monday 4/19 at 11:11 PM and Thursday 4/22 at 6:07 AM: Excellent for anything glamorous, dramatic performances, being in the public’s eye, throwing or attending an elegant party, playing with children, romance and creativity in general…

Moon in Virgo between Thursday 4/22 at 6:08 AM and Saturday 4/24 at 9:05 AM: Excellent for starting a new fitness program, learning, healthy nutrition, fasting, clearing our closets, cleaning our home, reorganizing our drawers…. Perfect also for detailed work, the focused use of our intelligence, and taking care of small pets….

Moon in Libra between Saturday 4/24 at 9:06 AM and Monday 4/26 at 9:17 AM : Great for relationships, associations, diplomatic exchanges with others, anything related to beauty (a haircut, buying new clothes, a make-over…), art (especially painting and decorating…), a pleasant social event (concert, art exhibition…).

Moon in Scorpio between Monday 4/26 at 9:18 AM and Wednesday 4/28 at 8:41 AM: Perfect for scientific research, esoteric studies, self-transformation, shamanism, dealing with the mysteries of life, death, and sexuality, as well as insurances and issues involving personal power.

Our intentional meditation started with the Full Moon on Sunday 3/28 you had intentions and placed them near a window, on a balcony or in a garden so that they would bask in the light of the Full Moon in Libra Once that moment passed, we gathered our Full Moon charged blank sheets and placed them in a folder.

On Sunday 4/11 on the New Moon in Aries, take out your blank full moon charged papers and write on each a concise, positive intention. Place them on a balcony, in a garden or near a window so that they are out by exactly 7:31 PM. Once that moment has passed, staple them together and put them away in a folder expecting the manifestation of all your dreams….

Next month’s intentional meditation starts on Monday 4/26. Take out as many blank sheets of paper as you have intentions and place them near a window, on a balcony or in a garden so that they bask in the light of the Full Moon in Scorpio at exactly 8:32 PM. Once that moment will have passed, gather your Full Moon charged blank sheets and place them in a folder.

Thursday 4/1: Mercury Sextile Pluto (11:04 PM)

Our mental concentration is particularly strong. Conversations, interests are deeper than usual. Our insights are penetrating. We are drawn to mysteries and esoteric truths. What we say stems from experience rendering our influence on others powerful.

Saturday 4/3: Mercury enters Aries (3:29 AM till April 19)

During the next month our thinking is fast, dynamic, positive and confident. However, a tendency to be impatient may make us jump to conclusions without having all the facts. Impulsive decisions are not the wisest. We think in an independent manner, enjoy flashes of intuition and are assertive.

Tuesday 4/6: Venus Sextile Mars (4:18 AM),

A wonderful day for a date or a social gathering. Whether we are already in a relationship or not, romance is in the air. Interactions with others are light, warm and pleasant.

Friday 4/9: Mars Square Neptune (12:18 PM)

On the positive side, we could feel particularly inspired by art, mysticism and beauty. Yet we could also feel unusually tired and in need of some quiet, reflective time. Slowing down, reconsidering our options and having faith that all will be well is helpful. This transit requires that we go with the flow.

Saturday 4/10: Mercury Sextile Saturn (8:09 AM), Venus Sextile Jupiter (11:53 AM)

A good balance of seriousness and enjoyment marks this day. We are practical in our thinking. Our powers of concentration are heightened. Our focus enables us to complete the projects at hand and clear our desk of backlogged work. Excellent for making short and long-term plans and seeking the advice of more mature individuals whose achievements we respect. An ideal day also to follow our heart’s desire, enjoy some time in nature, throw a party, go dancing, take a road trip or watch a feel-good movie.

Sunday 4/11: Venus Square Pluto (8:20 PM)

Relationships could be intense today. Old grievances could surface revealing how upset someone is with us particularly around money issues and the use and abuse of power. We need to take a step back, stay anchored in what we know to be true and avoid unnecessary conflict. Today, taking financial risks is ill-advised.

Tuesday 4/13: Sun Sextile Mars (4:09 PM)

A wonderful day to solve problems, fight for our objectives, enlist the cooperation of others to achieve our goals and be involved in a competitive endeavor. Engaging in a sport is a highly beneficial energy outlet. Any project requiring courage, physical stamina and enthusiasm is favored.

Wednesday 4/14: Venus enters Taurus (11:22 AM till May 8)

During the next 3 weeks, we feel particularly sensual and drawn to nature. Beauty in all its forms touches us deeply. We seek comfort. A great period of time to enjoy spa treatments, massages, sleep in when we can, share nice dinners with friends, take peaceful strolls in the countryside, spend time in our garden or in parks admiring flowers and generally adopt a more leisurely pace of life.

Thursday 4/15: Sun Sextile Jupiter (9:59 AM)

One of the happiest transits of the year. Beneficial opportunities knock on our door. The abundance we feel and our faith in life attract the resources we need. Our optimism and confidence help us break through any previous limitation and expand our horizons. The call for adventure -whether it is a trip to a foreign country or watching a movie about a different culture, is strong.

Friday 4/16: Sun Square Pluto (6:27 AM), Mars Trine Jupiter (10:14 PM)

Feeling manipulated, pushed and forced in a direction that we did not choose is not uncommon under this transit. Asserting our power at all costs is ill-advised. Today, finding solutions that serve the highest good of all is essential to maintaining a certain level of balance.

Saturday 4/17: Mercury Sextile Jupiter (9:00 AM), Mercury Sextile Mars (12:09 PM), Mercury Square Pluto (2:49 PM)

A wonderful day to begin learning a new language, exploring history or start teaching a class that expands our students’ horizons. We embrace our life lessons with confidence and positive energy. Our mind is assertive and agile. Quick on our feet, we complete the tasks at hand with ease. Working with others is more beneficial than doing everything on our own. Our powers of concentration are deep and persuasive. Our beliefs could be challenged. Dealing with criticism in a positive manner is stimulating.

Sunday 4/18: Sun Conjunct Mercury (6:50 PM)

A day of good news and high confidence. We create our luck with flowing ideas, plans and decisions. Optimism and positive energy abound, making us delight in other people’s successes. Wonderful for writing e-mails, making phone calls and gathering with friends.

Monday 4/19: Mercury enters Taurus (3:29 AM till May 3rd), Sun enters Taurus (1:33 PM till May 20)

During the next 3 weeks, our thinking process is slower, more deliberate, persistent and practical. We need to ruminate what we learn. We are grounded, drawn to nature and creature comforts. Surrounding ourselves with flowers, perfume, color and soft fabrics brings us peace and happiness. Gardening is soothing.

Thursday 4/22: Sun Conjunct Uranus (6:01 PM)

A day to expect the unexpected. Sudden changes happen initiated by us or imposed upon us. Either way, the more present to the present we are, the more exciting and freeing these disruptions prove to be. We are drawn to progressive, innovative, free-spirited people who inspire us to implement new habits. Wonderful opportunities develop from surprises, especially if we embrace them with openness and excitement.

Friday 4/23: Mars enters Cancer (4:49 AM till June 11), Mercury Conjunct Uranus (11:42 PM)

During the next 2 months Cancer natives are favored. For all, actions are more conservative and marked by caution and care for our loved ones. We are more prudent in our finances and prone to enjoy activities that keep us home with family members. Today, more specifically, our mind is quick. Flashes of insight are not uncommon. We connect dots in unusual ways. New ideas are attractive. Free spirited people as well as unexpected circumstances open liberating opportunities.

Saturday 4/24: Venus Square Saturn (9:22 PM)

Today, the weight of loneliness and isolation could feel heavier than usual. Companionship does not come readily. People are busy or simply don’t care. Our finances could also be strained. We could feel a sense of scarcity and limitation that restricts our freedom. A day to lay low, be self-sufficient, keep ourselves to ourselves and avoid spending money we don’t have.

Sunday 4/25: Mercury Square Saturn (4:58 AM), Mercury Conjunct Venus (3:19 PM)

Obstructions and delays could block our goals, forcing us to pause and think. We may need the advice of a more mature or experienced person we respect. Duties and responsibilities are likely to feel particularly heavy and tedious today yet need to be taken care of. Thankfully, our interactions with others are harmonious and clear, in a spirit of compromise and agreement with a heightened appreciation of beauty.

Thursday 4/29: Mercury Sextile Neptune (7:27 PM)

A wonderful day for creative work requiring much imagination. Being practical is more difficult. We should avoid signing legal documents or making binding decisions. Dreams take over reality making us want to listen to music, read an inspiring book or watch a nice movie. Feeling overruns thinking. We are compassionate and sensitive. A day to breathe, meditate, nap and enjoy peaceful, natural surroundings.

Friday 4/30: Sun Conjunct Uranus (12:54 PM)

Unexpected events, unique people, unusual opportunities and a deeper sense of freedom and independence mark this exciting day. Fallouts could also surprise us as people suddenly embark on paths that prove incompatible with ours. However, an excellent transit for starting a project that involves technology and making new friends who inspire us to celebrate our difference.
