For the week of June 12th thru the 19th, be sure to read your Rising Sign as well:
Family can be exasperating at times. As Mercury slows for its retrograde station next week, any issues that had been simmering on the back burner, could begin to come to a boil. It may not be a rolling boil yet. But the awareness of potential issues is enough for now. Don’t rush to judgment too quickly though and avoid making assumptions. Communications are likely to be muddled.
In some way you are being asked to wait. Perhaps even retreat, and avoid jumping in too soon. It may be that there will come a time when you are going to need to step in. But for now you wait and see. We’re still in the midst of eclipse season, and Mercury’s about to do a turn around. So you’re going to want to see where all the dust settles first.
Many a Taurus has been feeling the call to righteousness lately. All the more so with Mars conjoining Neptune this weekend. There can be some issues with those who seem to lose sight of the message. However, that surge of adrenaline one gets when you are joining forces with others for a good cause will both inspire and encourage you to follow through. Just make sure that you are all on the same page. And that the message you are trying to send is loud and clear. Mercury is slowing for its retrograde station next week, which could only further foul up the message. Yet, if you speak from the heart, your message will be that much more meaningful and will carry more weight. All the more reason to connect with those ideas, those things that resonate with your inner voice, heart and mind. The rest will follow.
Knowing who you are and knowing what your limits are, are important this week. This will help you to establish appropriate boundaries where needed, and tune you in so that you are aware of when and how your boundaries are being compromised. It won’t be all that obvious at first. Especially if your intention is to look for ways to be helpful. But when you get to that do-you-want-to-run-that-by-me-again moment, give yourself permission to say No or withdraw as needed. You’re going to be reassessing precisely what your priorities are over the next several weeks. And you are not going to be in the mood for those who have been crossing the line. One of the things you may find yourself thinking about over the next several weeks, is whether or not you are using all of your skills and talents to their full capacity; and if you are being appreciated for all that you do have to offer.
It really doesn’t help that many of the messages you are receiving seem so ambiguous and unclear. One person says one thing, and then someone else says another. It’s hard to tell who to believe any more. This is one of those times when it would probably be best to take some time out and just be. We are in the middle of eclipse season, which is always a time of uncertainty any way. Therefore it’s a good idea to wait until the dust settles. Mercury is also slowing for its retrograde station next week in your sign, which will only add to the contrariness and befuddled environment. Give yourself the grace and permission to be able to change your mind; and also set appropriate limits. Especially if any boundaries have been crossed lately. When Mercury is retrograde in your sign, never is it more important to connect with yourself and your own mind. Good time to keep a journal. You may find it easier to write things out for yourself, rather than trying to explain it to others. Words become somewhat inefficient at these times.
You want to support your close friends and allies, but it may be a little tricky to know what is the best way to do so. People may be evasive, leaving you hanging. You may think you know what is the best solution, just make sure that everyone is in agreement. It is always helpful to make sure that everyone is on the same page first. We are in the middle of eclipse season and you may want to wait until the dust settles before you make any major commitments. All the more so when you consider that Mercury is slowing for its retrograde station next week. In some way Mercury is asking you to pause and maybe even withdraw from previous commitments. This wait and see attitude could prove to be a godsend in the end. There is already so much you are needing to process. Taking some time out to do so, just seems to make a lot of sense right now.
You can lead a horse to water, but you can’t make them drink. Part of the problem may be in the presentation. But a lot of it is just a sign of the times. We’re all needing to do our own inner work, and even if it looks like you’re watching someone go off the tracks. Sometimes you just have to let them, trusting that they will come to their senses before it’s too late. It’s just exasperating when so much of your own destiny is tied in with others and their decisions. It’s important to parse out, those things that you do have control over, and those you simply don’t. It will become more apparent over the next several weeks, just who you can depend on to be there when you need them, and who simply isn’t. Having that clarity of heart and mind will make all the difference going forward. The most important thing, is connecting with those things that are most important to you, and not allowing them to be compromised.
With Mars conjunct Neptune this weekend, you’re either going to want to implement a new health initiative, or begin to see results for those that you have already started. Neptune has been in this sector of your chart for years, trying to encourage you to adopt a healthier, more holistic, lifestyle and daily routine. And Mars is here to give you the motivation to follow through with these. Positive results will only give you that much more motivation as the week wears on. But there’s something else that is coming into consideration here now that Mercury is slowing for its retrograde station, which has more to do with your plans for the future. Things are still too uncertain to make any real plans, but with Mercury at the top of your chart, you will be asking a lot of questions: What do I see myself doing in the foreseeable future? How do I feel about what I am doing now? It is not a time to be making any definite decisions. But it is a time of reassessing and considering the What ifs?
Sometimes it’s difficult to tell if someone is really interested. It may be that their actions don’t necessarily support what they are telling you. Or you are not really seeing someone for who they are. Perhaps you are romanticizing them just a bit. Before you make that ultimate commitment, make sure you know who or what you are getting involved with. It may take a while to see people as they really are, without all the external trappings and assumptions. But things seem to have this way of working themselves out, and by the end of next week, you could find yourself fully inspired to move ahead. This is great for a creative idea or some other project you’ve been working on, but allow yourself to change your mind and set boundaries as needed. You’re simply not going to want to compromise those things that really are important to you. So good to make sure that everyone is on the same page.
If you’re feeling a little wiped out and defeated at the beginning of the week, don’t despair, as you are likely to find your energy picking up steam as we move through the week. Part of that is due to a sense of urgency, but also inspiration. This will help to over-ride any feeling of having to walk on eggshells, and trying not to offend anyone. Part of the problem has been in trying to get your thoughts across in a way that can be understood and heard. Not always easy. Especially when people just seem so inscrutable these days. Mercury is slowing down for its retrograde station next week, so misunderstandings are more likely to occur. This will be especially true where money, investments and agreements are also involved. You may be forced to reconsider, reevaluate and recalculate over the weeks ahead. Be open to alternative solutions, but don’t necessarily commit just yet. There may be a few more twists and turns before everything is said and done.
It is so difficult to make plans these days. Should you come or should you go? Uncertainty seems to prevail as we move through the weekend, and for a Capricorn who likes to know precisely what the future has in store, this could be maddening. In some way you are still being asked to live with that uncertainty. To also be clear about what is or is not practical and realistic before committing or making promises. Some of the clouds will clear as we move through the week. Just make sure that you also give yourself permission to be able to change your mind and be able to tell someone No when you mean it. Mercury is slowing for its retrograde station next week, and in some way we are all being asked to reevaluate, and reconsider future plans. Once Capricorn makes up their minds, it is difficult to change course. But you may just be compelled to do so due to circumstances beyond your control, realizing that it is in everyone’s best interest to do so.
Figuring out where and how you may be of the greatest help will still be on the table as we move through the weekend. But also take into consideration how much your budget allows, and where and how you can best use your resources moving forward. Being clear about what you can or cannot do in a situation will also be helpful, for even the best laid plans and the kindest intentions may need to be realistically reevaluated. It probably does not help that Mercury is about to join all the other planets that are currently retrograde, suggesting that a hasty retreat, and a willingness to pause and reconsider may be on the table right now. There may be other things that will also need to be taken into consideration before making plans: these can include rethinking a health concern; going back to work; adjusting to a new schedule; or reorganizing your work environment. Taking care of these mundane chores in you life will ultimately allow you to gain a clearer perspective of what is, or is not, realistic right now.
Family or home issues that have been simmering on the back burner are becoming more difficult to ignore. It may be as simple as having to repair that leaky faucet. However, when it comes to people, it can be maddening. It is not as easy to fix people as it is a leaky faucet. No matter how hapless they may seem. It is also a good reminder to wait until we are asked for help before swooping in to save them. You can help most by merely being there for them. Listening and hearing what they have to say. Confirming their feelings even if you don’t agree with their actions. It will be hard to sit on the sidelines when Mars is in your own sign. The inclination is to want to DO something. Another is to get really pissed off. Especially when your heart is being torn betwixt and between. But understanding who or what you actually have control over, and where your boundaries end and others begin is essential in figuring out the right thing to do. No matter how maddening, sometimes the best thing to do when a situation is beyond your control, is to call some time out and retreat.
ॐ Namasté - Blessings!
