For the week of March 27th thru April 3rd, be sure to read your Rising Sign as well:
Watch for a shift in the energy as Mars changes signs on Monday. One of the first things to happen could be this feeling of being stopped in your tracks when Mars meets Saturn this week. In some way, we’re all being asked to slow down, quarantine, stay in place. At least in some fashion or another. Not easy for Aries who’s always on the go. But when you look at the situation objectively, and see that sometimes to just stop and do nothing can actually benefit the greater good, then it all begins to make sense in both the short run and the long run. Staying home takes on a whole new meaning when you look at things from a higher vantage. Patience is being asked of us all right now. This may begin to wear thin by the end of the week. If you begin to feel a little stir crazy look for things to keep you busy: stream an on-line exercise regimen; fix that lawn mower; be creative! Don’t get agitated, get moving, all the while maintaining therapeutic distances. It’s all for the greater good.
There could be a little too much social interaction with the Taurus and Libra crowds. You can still have social and meaningful encounters with others while maintaining therapeutic social distances! Have a virtual party on line. Get your choral group together for a virtual sing along on Zoom. We’re allowed to get wine deliveries here in New York City where liquor stores are considered ‘essential’. Top up your vino and break out your musical instruments, and then call your buddies and commiserate from afar. You can even have your friends stuck overseas tune in! There’s so much potential. We’re all learning new ways to still lead socially meaningful lives, even when we’re all conscientiously looking out for each other by simply staying put for a good cause.
Gemini is not usually inclined to stay home and quarantine on any level. Let’s just take this one week at a time. This week, with Mercury conjunct Neptune and Mars conjunct Saturn we’re all just being asked to slow down and be present. There could be a lot of distractions. And there will also be a lot of misinformation being tossed about out there. It will be important to separate fact from fiction to keep you from making a wrong turn. What this week is good for: getting lost in your imagination; entertaining a fantasy; succumbing to your daydreams; binge-watching a fantasy; singing your heart out; and just being. Watch what happens when you turn down the noise, turn off the chatter, and sit in silence. If only for a brief moment. You can see more, feel more, hear more, and sense more. Simply being one with the moment is the remedy for what ails many of us right now.
If you cannot have what you want, or do what you want right now in this moment, pay attention to what is right there in front of you. Sometimes when we are forced to slow down, or obstacles come up in our path, it can prove to be fortuitous to have to wait and see. It may not seem to be so at the moment. In some way, we are all being tested for patience this coming week. Focus on activities that channel patience and discipline: that project that you put aside that is still on the shelf in your closet; those weights that you bought way back when, in order to ‘get in shape’. This is a week to tackle those goals or projects that you’ve actually been avoiding. But will prove to be so rewarding in the end. Look for a goal to channel that slow moving energy, and you’ll be amazed at what you might actually get accomplished.
We’re all being asked to be patient over the next week. But in some way Leo is being asked to be particularly patient with others these days. Is it just your imagination, or is everyone a little on edge these days? It’s all you can do to keep your leonine pride and composure. If we hear you roaring from afar, we know there’s danger. Otherwise we will leave you to your own devices. Everyone is going to require a little more understanding than usual these days. The long story short is that so do you. It may be just as well that you are being required to socially distance yourself from others. The question is, what can you do about that person who is living with you? Work on a joint project! Build that thing you’ve been meaning to. You’ll all be cussing and carrying on in the process, trying to tell each other what to do, but at least you got something done!
The worst thing Virgo can do this week is give in to worry, fear and panic. The problem with the future being so inscrutable and unknowing, is simply having to let some things go, and sit with ambiguity for now. Since it appears that you don’t really know what is going to happen in the future, don’t worry about it. In some way you are being asked to just be present with what is right in front of you right now. Even from the confines of our enforced solitary containment, we can still reach out and touch someone. Even if it has to be virtually! Sometimes all that people need right now, is to have someone who will listen, and simply be there for them. We’re all needing a little extra TLC right now. And knowing that there is someone out there who cares can make the difference.
Put down the phone, and stop inviting people over. The temptation may be strong, but there are priorities here. Until the virus has run its course in your neck of the woods, be wise and avoid congregating with others in close quarters. It’s for a higher cause. And it’s the responsible thing to do. What you can do: have virtual, on-line parties from the safely quarantined area of your living room; go for a solitary walk (if this is allowed in your area) while talking on the phone with your bestie. Just so long as you all are maintaining your therapeutic distances for now, you can still do a lot. There are some advantages to creating some space and quiet in your life. One of these is that when you are no longer distracted by the outside world and its demands, you can find yourself again. See where your mind and your imagination (and your dreams) take you this week. It may just surprise you.
Mars is moving into Aquarius this coming week, and it’s taking you along with him. What becomes apparent is the necessity for needing to stay put. Realize that sometimes when we are confronted with an obstacle or a delay, if could prove to be fortuitous. If you find yourself being restless, or wanting to do something, look for projects around the house that you’ve been otherwise avoiding. Mars conjunct Saturn this week is asking us to take up projects or goals that require focus and tedious concentration. Building that desk that came in a million small parts; organizing all those papers and bills that have turned your desk into a mountain of chaos. Something that requires patience, strength, focus and grit. The hard part is getting started. But when you take things one step at a time, before you realize it, you’ve reached the other side. The up side of this, is that when you focus on a goal or a project to this extent, there is less room for the demons fear, anxiety and worry.
It’s not easy to stay in place and follow all the rules. Sagittarius is not used to all this containment. But it does give you pause. And all of us are feeling the need to pause right now. There are opportunities here for reflection and to focus on those things that really matter. It’s about priorities, and being clear about what those priorities are for you. For some that may be family. For others it may be relationships. For some these days it’s more about survival and just trying to figure out how to get from week to week. One thing that we are being asked this week to do, is to just be present for now. Focus on the present without being overwhelmed by all the commotion, or giving in to negativity, or worrying about the future. There’s actually a lot of potential this year, and sitting with where you are right now, may be exactly where you need to be.
Capricorns are in the process of trying to make a new goal sustainable in some way. But don’t be discouraged if things don’t pick up right away. You all are still in the process of redefining your lives, and part of that includes figuring out what works and what doesn’t. And things are just going to be a little slower than usual this week. Nonetheless, you are inspired. So the key here is to think in terms of not only having a goal, but also creating some sort of strategy, outline, or plan. And not getting discouraged if it doesn’t move right away. In some way you are being asked to move beyond your usual expectations. This is about building, doing, investing; while also realizing that this is a process and that things are going to evolve and grow as you go along. There is so much potential here. See if you can plug into even a small bit of what that potential contains.
Mars enters Aquarius on Monday. Usually when Mars enters your sign it invests it with energy and all sorts of anticipation and initiative. However, with Saturn only just entering your sign last week, this is not about a sprint, so much as preparing for the long haul, like you would for a marathon. And this means taking one step at a time. One day at a time. One of the things we often experience with Mars conjunct Saturn as it is this week, are delays, road bumps and obstacles that have to be skillfully navigated. This requires patience, strategy and persistence, just when it all seems so futile to do so. If you can’t fulfill your goals now, still pay attention to your long-term goals, reminding yourself of where you know you ultimately want to go.
Sometimes we have to be separate in order to be able to better connect. One thing that becomes apparent is that for this moment at least, we are all sharing in a global experience. And just as the virus knows no boundaries and encompasses the whole planet without exception, there are other things that do so as well: things like Infinitude, things like Compassion, things like Love. There are just some things that simply have no bounds and have no limits, even in the midst of restraint, limitation and confinement. And within that context are things like potential and growth and an expansive awareness of being part of a much greater whole. If all this sounds quite metaphysical, it is. You are so much more than you think you are. We all are. Because we are each and every one of us, connected to that one universal light and love that is the ultimate basis of the Universe itself. And so it is.
ॐ Namasté - Blessings!
