12/19 ~ Sun (core Self) ~sextile~ Jupiter (optimism):
This energy is sometimes considered “lucky” but the success you achieve under this influence, is more likely due to a positive outlook and clear vision of who you are and what you want. Your life is expanding, your self-understanding is deepening and it will be easier to be around other people of higher consciousness, improving things and creating opportunities that benefit a larger number of people. There is a healthy dose of optimism around some grand plan, and things are moving, but make sure to do the foundation work to support this larger vision as it manifests in reality. If you are a teacher/guide/leader of any sort, this energy supports your group efforts, so giving workshops, seminars or new classes is totally supported and will benefit you, while serving others.

12/19 ~ Venus Retro in CAPRICORN (Until Jan 29th):
Consider this 4-month period (Nov 2021 – March 2022) a literal and figurative UPGRADE to the structure or foundation of your life. You are responsible for creating, maintaining and sustaining your own life. Essentially, it is time to own your Inner Authority and innate ability to run your own life (Capricorn), and Venus Retro brings the necessary review of values & priorities (Venus) where your personal, emotional & physical safety & security are all concerned. What is most important to you around these fundamentals, here & now today? How you make decisions and define security has likely shifted dramatically since 2013-2014, and will shift again by 2029-30 (next Venus Retro in Capricorn). The Retrograde period should afford you time for the *Review*. Review your Roles & Responsibilities, do some clearing & releasing and prepare the way for new structures, new collaborations and new projects to have a place to exist and evolve. Retrogrades are always good for research, revisions & resolutions. Does what you have been dedicated to, building and maintaining, actually reflect your deepest, core values? Do you spend your resources of time, energy & money on memories or materials? Education or elitism? Progress or postponement?

This Venus work is going to be very personal for those with Capricorn/Cancer and Aries/Libra activated in their charts. Things that were important to you 8-years ago are probably not so vital now, and things that were not even on your list of priorities may have moved to the top. In this case, Capricorn means the structure of your life and the reality you’re currently living has evolved over the last 8-years and adjustments to your responsibilities, commitments and decision-making skills should reflect the *upgrade*. Taking a time-out to review your own reality, how it works, what it grounds or anchors in physical form and how it serves you (or not) ~ that is what this Retrograde will likely bring to the foreground. Capricorn energy always reveals where you are rigid, dry & unstable. It’s about carrying your own weight, not the weight of the world and Capricorn is very present to the here & now fundamentals (home, work, food, shelter). It’s time to dedicate your efforts toward productive ends that both support you and serve others.

It’s about being responsible for your own thoughts, feelings, words & deeds and understanding how they are all connected to the physical reality of your life. Capricorn is Ruled by Saturn, which is the last visible planet and speaks to our definition of reality, as well as our physical limits. Saturn is about dedication to the step-by-step process that accomplishes the long term or big goal that will ultimately support more than just you and yours. If you are consciously participating in life, then this is a potent time for you. However, if you are overwhelmed by decisions you’ve already postponed overlong or the instability of fundamental aspects of your life (home, work, food, shelter), then it’s time to meet your Inner Architect or Inner Engineer who can help you survey, clear, dedicate, design and ultimately, build the NEW clean, foundation to support yourself.

12/19 ~ Chiron Direct in ARIES:
If you were born 1968-1977 then this is very personal and part of your Chiron Return, when we all do our greatest amount of healing possible for this lifetime. In general, this is an initiation because Chiron has now spent the last 50-years moving through every healing process in Aries to/through Pisces and is starting over now. So even if you never knew about Chiron, now you know, and we can all consciously co-create with it as it journeys through the Signs, activating their lessons and healing processes. As it moved through Pisces 2010-2018, we learned about following our own intuition and managing our own individual boundaries better. Now, in Aries 2018-2027, we get to heal our identity & purpose and our essential right to be here at this miraculous time in history. Every year, Chiron Retrogrades which shifts its normal effects on our social/collective realm and turns its energy inward for the individual to do some processing, so it is not a bad idea to co-create with this one consciously and annually. Anything you are ready to heal, learn about or transform, Chiron can help you do it and in Aries – it’s ALL ABOUT YOU! your choices, your purpose, your healing process and what YOU learn along the way, through your own experience.

We can all consciously honor the healing, education & personal transformation that Chiron facilitates. During 2010-2018, Chiron in Pisces taught us about sensitivity & boundary issues, being a spirit in human form. Now, in Aries, we are opening up to the new directive of self-healing, self-assembling & self-mastery going forward. Chiron is best known as the Wounded Healer, the aspect of Self that came in with a wound to address this lifetime and in your chart, it represents your *Healing & Educational Path* – it is all that you learn on that journey toward wholeness & integration and the healing & education that results from that journey. As it goes Direct today, this 5-month period should have revealed where you’re at in your own process of evolution. This whole year has been deeply supported for a personal inventory or inner review. You have to be willing to face the fears & hurts, accept the losses & defeats, and then get up, dust yourself off & try again. Chiron can help guide this process. It’s time to be brave & pioneering (clearly, the old ways no longer work), it’s time to follow our instincts (though first we may have to connect to them properly), it’s time to face challenges head-on, and remember that though we have to do for Self (be self-sufficient & self-contained), we do not have to do it alone. So this time is really going to support the evolution of the individual within the context of the community or their relationships. It is all connected, if one evolves (Self), the other (Relationship) has to evolve too (or dissolve & go away). So as Chiron goes Direct, you may find yourself on more solid ground internally and as you get there, another layer of healing is usually revealed too.

12/20 ~ Mercury (voice) ~trine~ Uranus (individuality):
This activation gives you access to your Higher Mind and opens the way for new, deeper insights that can guide & direct you at this time. Business as usual will not work, it’s time to open up to the unusual, do something different, look at things from another angle and watch the ah-ha moments start pouring in. Your intuition will be firing on all cylinders, giving you access to unprecedented clarity. While your thinking may lack discipline, your ability to access solutions to any recent (or long-standing) challenges may be off the charts. This energy will not be contained, even though it is generally all mental, you really will have a hard time keeping up with the ideas, thoughts, concepts & intuitions that come to you under this influence so try to take notes that you can refer to later when the grounding will be necessary. Pay attention to the messages that come through/from others as well since you never know how the Universe will show up. This alone is an indication that whatever your consciousness may not have been previously ready to assimilate or process is awakening now to that which is just for you!

12/21 ~ Ceres Retro / Re-Enters TAURUS (Until Feb 8th):
OK – even I had to do some digging on this one! Ceres rules how we nurture and like to be nurtured, what we cultivate and nourish, support & protect to full development, whether that is a baby, garden, community or creative project. With only a brief dip into Taurus now (Dec 21 – Feb 8) to complete the mission, Ceres has been lingering in Gemini, working with the Gemini/Sag Nodes & Eclipses. She’s been revealing how we “nurture or nourish” Ideas & Beliefs, which is fine for expanding consciousness, but going Direct in Taurus suggests that the evolution in consciousness should lead to a higher level of embodiment & personal expression. Let’s review.

if we could only embrace a new consciousness? Then …

May/June/July 2021 ~ Ceres in TAURUS:
Ceres is the part of us that nurtures and it often describes how we like to be nurtured as well. It takes Ceres 4-5 years to make it through Aries-Pisces so that is the last time we had access to this energy and at that time, Uranus was not yet in Taurus, so that makes this very special. We can break out of any ruts that we may be in when it comes to self-care, exercise, nourishment, love-making – all the things that make being in a body delicious & miraculous. Uranus is cracking us open as a Collective so it may be a more subtle affect, however, 5-years from now, it will be moving on so this may be our only shot at initiating new ways of nurturing & nourishing ourselves, each other and the planet. These 3-months gave you an opportunity to re-connect with what feeds you on the deepest levels – what makes you happy to be in a physical form. You can re-set how you do your creature comforts and how you define personal security. It’s an excellent time to beautify your surroundings, as well as your Self. It’s the best time to improve your diet and love yourself in a more literal, consistent, dedicated way.

Aug-Dec 2021 ~ Ceres is in GEMINI:
Ceres rules how we nurture and like to be nurtured. As it moves through the Signs, it also moves through your respective Houses, activating your Planets and bringing some much-needed energy to those zones. It takes about 5-years for Ceres to move through all 12-Signs so the last time it was in Gemini was June/July 2018 and (fyi) the next time will be May/June 2026. What is special about this year (2021) is that it will linger and retrograde there, so that means we all get a concentrated dose of nourishment in our Gemini/Sag/Virgo/Pisces Departments by default. It is a once-in-5-years renewal in the Gemini zone, and is asking you to consider how much your Sag zone has evolved in the last 2-3 years because now you can nurture whatever is solid or release whatever is no longer nurturing you. Meantime, the Virgo/Pisces zones will have to grow out of comfort zone and into new territory, which suggests that there is probably some neglect or a need for a check-in with being a Spirit in physical, human form – your systems for living.

Dec 21st – Now we’re back, still moving through her Retrograde until Jan 14th, when she goes Direct in Taurus, Re-Enters Gemini for a final sweep, Feb 8th – May 15th, when she’ll finally move on into Cancer. Here’s the thing, after changing your values & priorities, and after changing your mind, consciousness & beliefs, Ceres in Cancer is all about nourishing YOU! It will be a replenishment time but it will also be an energetically transitional time when some big energies will be coming in for the first time in many years. So I suggest that we use this final time in Taurus to liberate ourselves in some way, practice & learn as it moves through Gemini and know that you are coming into your own in a way that is activating a new daily rhythm for you and a new way of interacting with others going forward.

12/24 ~ Saturn (structure & traditional) ~square~ Uranus (freedom & futuristic):  (3 of 3: 2/17 ~ 6/14 ~ 12/24)
Alright y’all, let’s breathe through this one. This is potentially useful and yet a really challenging activation to have to deal with on the heels of 2020 because this is the literal fight between the old and the new, a struggle between the earthly reality of the 99% and airy idea of freedom as defined by the 1% so this year that will be the ongoing theme: those who want to impose authority on you and disconnect you from your own Inner Authority and those who cannot do rigid, oppression and fight for individual freedom. The solution is somewhere in the middle, we need to ask ourselves how we can live a healthy way, in this New Age.

This energy has its own socio-political aspects, but on an individual level, it will hit anywhere you have grown stagnant, stuck or otherwise no longer growing in your day-to-day existence. Think of a plant whose roots have outgrown the pot. Everything feels cramped, new growth is harder and expansion is impossible. In order to continue healthy growth, it needs a new container. That is all 2020 showed us – how ineffective our personal containers really are and how flimsy our hold on our own precious resources can be if we are distracted by worldly chaos that we cannot fix or change unless we address our own personal problems first. This is the energy that provokes you to get a little more serious about running your own life so that you don’t have to be subjected to the rules or restrictions of someone else’s container.

Saturn wants to strengthen and fortify, help you with boundaries, responsibilities, commitments and ultimately, your purpose. For those who do not do well with all of that or do not know their purpose, this energy is frightening at best and devastating at worst. If you are one of them, then this is where you start. What have you neglected the longest in your life? Or in the last 7-years alone? Start there. This energy teaches that change is good because you have outgrown your current container, routine or structure. It will point out all the ways that your old ways no longer serve or support you. Any relationships or partnerships that are oppressive in any way are likely to break suddenly under this influence, and that includes bosses and public connections that are too rigid (like suddenly quitting or getting fired). Those who do not bend, break with this one so stay self-aware, fluid & flexible.

On a social/collective level, we need to use the wisdom of the past, along with the facts of the present in order to choose wisely for the future. Saturn gets you present to what IS in your life, it is asking all of us to look at how rigid we’ve become in certain areas of life (Aquarius Dept). Look where we’ve been depressed and too exhausted to entertain any kind of purpose, let alone an altogether new purpose. Saturn points out where you lack commitment and dedication so whatever needs the most attention in your 3D-Reality, that is where you start to deepen your dedication to doing better. Uranus, on the other hand, wants to present you with inspiration and creative solutions but you have to be open & receptive to the new & unusual. Look to your Taurus House for the things that feed your body & soul and are beautiful & fulfilling to you, like gardening, hiking, photography, hobbies or outdoor sports that help you like a moving meditation. They wake up your soul and activate the vitality in your body, at the same time. So much of our current society pushes all these ways to escape, narcotize and sleepwalk through life. The antidote to feeling oppressed is to feel free in your own body, the one thing that you have control over so start there. Change your relationship with your body & physical environment and it will start to accommodate this higher level of consciousness that is emerging at this time. It is very special energy that can help us anchor whatever is real & solid, release the old & toxic and open up to entirely new possibilities that only 5-years ago weren’t even a possibility!

12/25 ~ Venus (love, finances & relationships) ~conjunct~ Pluto (purification & transformation): (2 of 3: 12/11 ~ 12/25 ~ 3/3)
This is an Initiation and an energy that supports a brand new beginning in your personal life. Some aspect of your values & priorities has shifted or run its natural course and this is a time to move in a completely new direction, even if it only feels like moving to your own next level (with love, finances or relationships). Pluto adds intensity to the mix, for better or worse, but also grants rare access to profound levels of connection within and with those you are in alignment with on a Soul-level. This is the ultimate support for the power of love to transform ALL. Because your values and priorities are changing, relationships must also undergo a similar adjustment (when you change, everyone around you changes or goes away). Beware of value differences that can cause power struggles which are not productive, that’s often just the ego distracting you from an opportunity to release some dead weight and move into the new with more ease & grace. Try to create circumstances that are win/win and mutually beneficial, this will allow the relationship to evolve, rather than devolve or revolve back into the new cycle and thus, repeating a negative pattern.
