5/14 :: Mercury Direct in TAURUS (until June 11th):
It is finally going Direct today – yay! Now is the time to reflect on all that has come up in the last 6+ weeks and beyond.

Now is the time to consider what has changed about your ideas, thinking or consciousness, in your Taurus Dept specifically. As you make the connections and do some deeper processing of all that you’ve learned recently, then you can move toward the necessary embodiment as it goes Direct in Taurus. Once you make up your mind, then you can start to create space for whatever you’re birthing this Spring season! Take some time to improve your environment, beautify your Self, raise your own vibration and recalibrate your magnetic field so that you are naturally magnetizing what is for your highest good and naturally repelling that which is not.

5/15 :: Mars (desires & actions) ~trine~ Neptune (dreams & visions):
This energy is good for spiritual exploration, digging deeper into your own place in the Cosmos and in relation to others. Your energy is best turned inward, as you find just how much ‘who you are’ and ‘what you want’ has actually changed over recent years and using this energy to infuse more depth into your heart’s desires. By infusing your dreams & visions for your Self, you naturally bless Others & the Universe. You may feel inclined to help others, but always balance that drive with some objectivity (are those you’re helping just as dedicated as you are to the common cause?) This is a very laid-back energy that allows you time to take effective action on behalf of your dreams and/or spiritual growth, more than outward action or specific steps. Enjoy it!

5/16 :: Jupiter Enters TAURUS (until 5.25.2024):
Jupiter activates a brand new 12-year Cycle by moving into Taurus! You can & will improve your Relationships & Finances, while initiating a whole NEW Truth, Story & Belief System rooted in better values, different priorities, new definitions of security and a completely new sense of self-worth & self-value. If 12-years is too much to wrap your brain around, I would encourage you to think in terms of 3-year increments. The Trinity energy is very powerful and when working with Jupiter, you are being exposed to an expanded awareness of a Larger Truth, of which you are an integral part. It is vital to work with this entity when you are consciously co-creating your personal code and the Truth & Story of your own life.

Jupiter spends about a year in every Sign, taking approximately 12-years to make it through the zodiac. We are Initiating this New 12-year Cycle together! There are Personal, Social and Collective Cycles happening at this time, Jupiter being a Social Planet, creates that common ground that we all share. Plus Initiating in Taurus gives us all a clean slate/new beginning to work with as well. This means that you too have a Personal 12-year Cycle based on the Sign Jupiter was in when you were born. However, Socially and Collectively, the 12-year Cycle that is being RE-Set at this time has to do with our common values & shared beliefs. It is a 1–3-year process that you can tune-in to that has considerable support for you to change what you believe to be true or possible for your Self, your community and the world.

Jupiter also Retrogrades every year giving us a chance to focus on what has expanded and re-evaluate what in your life needs to increase and what in your life needs to decrease. That will happen Sept-Dec 2023 but first we will all get an initial introduction to this energy during June-Aug 2023. We have all been through a lot on the social/collective levels over the last 1-3 years and many of us have awakened to our non-negotiables, those things that make it possible for you to feel individual comfort & personal security. Life is way too short to be living someone else’s values or priorities.

This energy is going to encourage us to improve our environment, beautify ourselves and create something tangible, valuable & long-lasting. It is time to fully embody and truly express your new values by making new choices & different decisions. It is time to assess your relationships & resources and see where you can improve them. There will be a tremendous focus on your own magnetics – what you naturally attract and what you naturally repel with your own energy field, something else we can consciously improve with Jupiter here for a whole year. Determination, patience & consistency is going to be needed to bring your renewed & expanded vision to life. Whatever you’re creating – inside or out – must be sustainable, practical and, ultimately, valuable.

Taurus is generally related to our basic, fundamental needs like food, sex & money, which is all very personal & subjective. But these aspects of life are also all deeply rooted in our intrinsic self-worth, personal self-love & natural self-value. You have to believe that your body is worthy of quality nutrient, your soul is worthy of intimacy and that you are fully capable of manifesting the money you need to function, thrive & prosper. Take a class if you have to but learn about finance, investing & generational wealth and consider long-term investments this year. It is time to deepen your connection to Mother Earth, Nature & being grounded in your true Self. Spending time in Nature helps you to remember your purpose and heal your soul.

The Shadow of Jupiter in Taurus is extremes, indulgence, stubbornness or impatience and you have to particularly watch any extremes around eating, drinking, sexing or spending. If things are going well for you, Jupiter will bring blessings & improvements to your Taurus Dept, however, if things are NOT going well for you at this time, be mindful because Jupiter’s influence makes everything bigger – good, bad or indifferent. And the biggest Shadow of this energy is what we call a *Hungry Ghost* – when no matter what you manifest, it does not satisfy that inner hunger. If you are co-creating with these energies, and especially if you have any Taurus/Scorpio and/or Leo/Aquarius activated in your chart, then the next 3-years are vital to anchoring much larger cycles that will fortify, nurture and protect you going forward.

5/17 :: Jupiter (your story) ~square~ Pluto (transformation):
These two energies are potent by themselves, but when challenging each other like this, permanent change is underway. Squares push you “out of comfort zone – in to – new territory”, that essentially, you could not get to on your own as you need the friction or the push. Keep your own motivations pure to avoid getting hurt by the karmic debris swirling nearby, know your own Truth & Story and allow what’s no longer true to fade, while embracing a renewed sense of purpose and dedication to something larger than you. Pluto is the Purifier and Jupiter represents justice and laws and is a social planet, so look for changes in government and revelations of the movements and machinations that are covert or hidden from the public view. There is a cleansing happening as we speak. It is time to question everything, especially your own belief systems. Reflect to see if what you hold as Truth is still adequate or even accurate. This energy is best for working toward positive change and restoring clean power structures within and out in the world, and helping the individual transform their personal story considerably.

5/18 ~ Sun (core essential Self) ~sextile~ Neptune (vision & imagination):
This energy activates your ability to dissolve the ego (momentarily) and allow your SoulSelf to shine through! Your Spiritual center, base or practice comes up – how is it supporting you? If you’ve gotten away from your practice, this energy will make it easier to connect to your Spirit, your intuition and the vision for your life’s purpose, at this time. You may find where your contribution is most valued, when you step outside your Self and see how others’ needs are important. Find a need and fill it … in your own deliciously unique way, as you will be more giving & compassionate, naturally under this influence. Your physical energy may be low as a result of Neptune channeling the Sun’s Source Energy inwardly to re-charge your Spirit. Otherwise, it could be projections of all kinds, yours and other people’s as well. Best to spend some Intentional Solitude, preferably in Nature if/when/where possible. Also, anytime we’re dealing with Neptune, we are also recalibrating our personal boundaries.

5/19 :: Mercury (communication) ~sextile~ Saturn (responsibility):

This energy is really good for being able to objectively see what needs to be changed, fixed or stabilized in your life or environment. One expression of this energy is a tendency toward depression or apathy, but a better expression would be facing what needs to be done and following through on anything that you have already begun. You may feel the need to organize things at home or work, or perhaps take a class or workshop of some sort that will help you attain your current goals. Either way, be focused but not too serious – balance in all things. It’s when you focus on the lack and limitation that you may feel overwhelmed and sometimes helpless. That’s not the point of this energy. It’s just time to take any ‘rose-colored glasses’ off, do some serious thinking, tend to the details, take stock, assess the value of your ideas and make changes accordingly.

5/19 :: TAURUS New Moon:
Every year, at this time, we tend to our individual Gardens, that sacred place where everything we love has a place to grow, develop & bear fruit. What are you cultivating in your Garden at this time? This is always a chance to begin anew, anchoring the new ideas that just got activated with, in this case, the last two Aries New Moons (one of which was an Eclipse) about a month ago, while also practicing the new routines that will help manifest and sustain whatever you’re creating at this time. Taurus energy, whether beginning or completing, always gives you the opportunity to assess your priorities. What is REALLY important – right now? What nourishes, supports and sustains you right now? And because Venus is involved, I’d add “Who” as well: Who nourishes, supports and sustains you right now? Taurus is all about what we *cultivate* so look at what worked and what didn’t over the last 6-months to a year and note what *building materials* you have, at this time, that would assist you in creating, manifesting and/or magnetizing a comfortable, beautiful and fulfilling existence that truly reflects what you believe you are worth.

The Taurus Lesson & Energy is not so much about “waiting” as it is about slowing down to consciously cultivate and co-create with the energy, resources and opportunities presenting themselves at this time. Internally, you can anchor the aspects of the New Identity (Aries) recently activated, these are the aspects of Self which you feel will support & sustain you going forward in this brand-new territory. Whether energetically “new territory” or actual physical, literal “new territory” – we are all on some new ground. This is the time of year to renew your commitment and dedication to living the life you feel most worthy of. Take stock of what you have released, as well as what you have acquired over the last year, give appreciation for ALL, then truly detach because you are worth so much MORE! There’s NEW energy & support available, and because your *values & priorities* have permanently shifted over the last year, it is good to reflect on what deeply supports who you are, here & now. What feeds, nourishes, supports & protects your NEW desires? NEW values? NEW priorities? What kind of energy, relationships & circumstances are you magnetizing? What kind are you repelling? How often do you tune-in to honor the beauty & abundance surrounding you, as well as within you? Gratitude unlocks energy and connects you to new resources. So, use this Taurus New Moon to plant the seeds of well-being and abundance in your Garden this year.

5/20 :: Mars Enters LEO (until July 10th):
It will probably feel good to have Mars shift from Cancer into Leo so look for that expansion and uplifted spirit for the next month or two while Mars lights up the Leo Department of your life. Mars entering Leo is an opportunity to get creative and have some fun, no matter how challenging life may be in the moment. This energy helps you magnetize your desires when you shine the Light of your Authentic Self. This is the placement of knowing who you are, who you want to be perceived to be and how you want to express, experience and obtain your Heart’s Desire. If you’ve been over-accommodating to others, giving until your exhausted, this energy will give you permission to pull inward to do some much-needed pampering & self-care. Reconnect with your true value & worth and know that when you express your true self, you magnetize abundance, support & protection. The Shadow of this, of course, is ego, looking the part but not being the part and expecting others to change before you will even budge. It’s not time for that! It’s time to lead by example!

5/20 :: Mars (desire) ~oppose~ Pluto (transformation):
This energy is higher will versus lower will, an opposition which always brings tension and the need to balance & integrate whatever you’re dealing with at the time. It’s not a good time to be selfish, go it alone or let ego lead. Something you did not consider may become obvious and force you to change in some fundamental way. You may have to decide if the path you are on at this time is really going to lead you to the destination that you originally chose. If you have been clear about your desires and willing to sacrifice, work hard (and consistently) then this energy will activate a turning point for you. You will have access to energy and passion that propels you forward when based in love and light. However, if your ego has been leading, you may find yourself at an impasse. This energy is all about power and with that power comes great responsibility. Be very careful of abusing that power as it will likely backfire on you.
