New Moon Update 1-23-12

Dear Friends,

The New Moon was at 12:42 AM Mountain Standard Time on Monday January 23 and we are still in its influence. This is a time when depression could hit or you could become overwhelmed with the disruption and destabilization around you. This is a good day to pull your energy in and focus only on the tasks at hand. Don't get distracted by others and their process. You will likely have many things on your plate. They can all wait. Take time for yourself and yourself only even if it is just to watch a bad movie. Stay out of judgment about events and situations, as they are all just temporary. Take a break.

One way to "take a break" is to imagine you are taking yourself out of gear and experiencing just being, with no agenda, and just being neutral. You have been operating like a car in second gear trying to go 100 kilometers per hour in this moving centered time. You will wear the engine out. It is much more efficient to be in a higher gear, however to get there you must first bring yourself to neutral. So in taking a break, visualize yourself at neutral, drop everything, nothing going on, and then decide which gear you need to be in to take advantage of the movement in your life.

Due to solar flares at this time you may experience electromagnetic interference in a very physical/emotional way; irregularities in heart rate, breathing, balance, headaches, mood swings, digestion, energy levels and difficulty with mental focus. This will all pass as you shift into gear again.

Sun and Moon in Aquarius, 2º

The Sun has just moved into Aquarius on Friday, Jan. 20 and we move immediately into a New Moon at 2º triggering an early Chinese New Year on Monday accompanied by Mars going retrograde until April 13. A busy astrological weekend!

So, we leave behind the earth/water influences of Capricorn and Cancer (father and mother) of the last Full Moon cycle of Jan. 9 and enter the fixed power domain of Aquarius/Leo in air and fire signs. Each element, earth, water, air, fire has a power sign, and they are opposite each other forming a continuum. Taurus/Scorpio represent feminine earth/water, and Aquarius/Leo represent masculine air/fire.

As the sisters climbed the path to the Star Temple the western horizon was ablaze with crimson and gold. Grandfather Sun had just set and night was beginning. Because this was a New Moon darkness would allow the Starry Ones to be very prominent in the indigo sky. Shooting Star was always happy when she could receive the messages from the Star People. She was the Keeper of their Wisdom. She also could talk to the animals. As she and Snowy Owl reached the Sacred Space she said out loud “I wonder what the message will be tonight?” As soon as the words were spoken all the Animal Totems for the different Moon cycles appeared at the entrance to the Star Temple.

Brown Otter and Black Otter led the way. They were Shooting Star’s spirit walkers. Before she had received her medicine name she was called Laughing Otter. The Otters’ gift was playfulness and sharing. She was delighted to see her dear friends for that was how she thought of them. Then all the other spirit walkers entered the Temple. Cougar, Wolf, Red Tailed Hawk, Beaver, Deer, Flicker, Salmon, Brown Bear, Crow, Raven, Snake, Elk, Owl, and Snow Goose joined the circle. Shooting Star and Snowy Owl knew this was an important ceremony for each spirit walker was a guide for every two legged.

This is your year of transformation. As you balance your Divine Masculine and Divine Feminine within, you embody the full expression of Divinity, your Wholeness in physical form that is required for Creation. You become the Creator Being that you are and Life is transformed. Observe your abilities. Refine your Focus. Release Limitation.
