Solstice Rebirth
Category: Kate Spreckley Written by Kate Spreckley

Solstices are always about shedding the past and opening to the new. The cycle of the sun represents the cycle of our lives and reflects the natural flow of energy moving inward and outward, indicating that are times to grow, times to pause, times to shed and times to learn. During this Solstice our Solar System will align with the Galactic Core, the centre of the Galaxy. With this alignment a very deep transformation, integration and expansion will occur that will align us at our deepest core. It is a particularly powerful time as it signifies a great shift in our journey and our long-awaited rebirth.
As we move into this time it is important that we recognise its sacredness and honour the nourishing light of our soul as it guides us forward. We are reminded of the need to turn inward and find the sustenance needed to continue our journey of healing, growth, and evolution. Through honouring this day of light, we energetically set in motion a period of awakening in our consciousness that will lead us into the new year and beyond.
Let yourself rest in the pace of this time, acknowledge the passing of the old and birthing of the new. Don’t pressure yourself to make changes right now or be in action in the world. Let the energies of new life an inspiration slowly build within you. Recognise the nature of all things, the cycles and the rhythms of growth and change. Allow time for rest and reflection while honouring endings and new beginnings.
