Today, March 4, Neptune enters its Shadow Zone which begins at 20d 24m Pisces. What does this mean and why should we care?

First, it means Neptune will be in the 21-24 Pisces degree span between now and the March Equinox 2022! Second, it means wherever we have 21-24 Pisces in our charts is now swimming in the great sea of collective consciousness, and the aspects Neptune makes to our planets adjusts our relationship to the collective atmosphere around us.

The shadow zone is defined by the span between where a planet goes retrograde, and where it goes direct after the retrograde period. In this case, Neptune went direct in late Nov 2020 at 19 Pisces, the same degree as its retrograde station in June 2019. It spent a lot of time at that degree, and that period in 2019-2020 gave us techniques of “walking with our wisdom” and “hearing the voice of our inner Master.”

It now is moving through 21 Pisces on the way to 24 Pisces, where it will go stationary retrograde in late June. It will then retrograde back to this exact degree and minute (20 Pisces 24) where it goes stationary direct in early December. That means the collective atmosphere will be focused on the themes related to 21, 22, 23, and 24 Pisces for the rest of this year into 2022.

Neptune shows us how to merge the sacred and the everyday in our lives. Neptune’s position in the sign it rules is related to the widespread spiritual awakening going on, as well as the widespread delusions and superstitions also haunting humanity. We’ve all had major opportunities to allow our Soul to strengthen our bodies, feelings, and minds, been released from old karmas, and found what nourishes us among our Spiritual Brothers and Sisters.

21 Pisces allows us to “feel our way” into a greater faith and sensitivity to “touching and being touched” in healthy ways which feed our empathy. 22 Pisces will show us all how we’ve succeeded in meeting the standards of a new way of life, and our larger spiritual field of interrelatedness. 23 Pisces will show us how we need to put our hearts into our expression if we would succeed in making our intentions real and substantial. And 24 Pisces will show us our interrelatedness within a larger field, and techniques of reaching out to others in our larger sphere of collective interaction.

So this year, when Neptune goes SRX in June at 24 Pisces, it will retrograde back to 21, where it will go SD in December, and then re-trace this Shadow zone through the March 2022 Equinox. We’re now getting our first look at this span of experience, which we last knew in 1857-1858.This implies that collective consciousness in 2021 is in a zone filled with turmoil historically. Given Pluto is also in a zone where it last was in 1774-1775, it would seem a “pre-revolution” is in the air!

Neptune’s vast tides will help you navigate the great depths of Life and find your way to your own archipelago in the vast ocean of collective consciousness.

Soon we will sail into the fogs and mists of places unknown for 144 years. There is nothing to fear, Friends to be found, and service to be made manifest. Enjoy the journey!
