For the week of November 22nd thru 29th, be sure to read your Rising Sign as well:
With Mars in Scorpio, Aries is bound to be emboldened, and you will not tolerate any restrictions on yours or anyone else’s freedom or civil rights. Cruelty and bullying just get your dander up. Be content with the understanding that there really isn’t much you have to do. But if you need to defend yourself or others, you are not likely to back down.
Just be cautious for there are too many unexpected land mines here. And as you are advisedly going with caution this week, you are also all being asked to connect with what would be your highest aspirations this week. If you were to set intentions or aspirations with the New Moon this week what would that look like for you? What needs healing in your life? And what is within your power to relieve any suffering in yours or others lives? Sometimes we help best by simply setting the example for others to follow. Some good intentions for Aries to set with this New Moon are: May I obtain a clearer vision and understanding of my higher purpose and goals; or May I have the courage to allow my ‘higher power’ to successfully guide my life, and lead me to make conscientious decisions.
This week is a curious mixture of celebration and aggravation. Ever since Mars entered Scorpio last week it’s managed to stir up some stuff, which could be touching a nerve or two. Best not to stir up the pot any further. But one thing may become apparent, and that is that Taurus is not willing to allow anyone to push them around any more, and anyone or thing that you perceive to be trying to limit or stifle you will not be tolerated. Dare to celebrate your emancipation and freedom. Thanksgiving comes a little early for Taurus this week: take note of all those things, people and experiences that you are grateful for. Dare to indulge your heart and your senses. There is also a New Moon on Tuesday, which is an excellent time to make new intentions and set positive affirmations. It is also a time for Taurus to ask themselves: What or to whom do I wish to further commit? And what are those things that are no longer furthering my growth? Some good intentions for Taurus to sow with this New Moon might be: May I be open to the abundance that the universe has to offer; or Today is the first day of the rest of my life: may it be filled with joy and hope for the future.
Your ruling planet, Mercury is now appearing to move direct again, and will soon be picking up speed. This week it repeats once again its transits to the Saturn/Neptune sextile, which is especially meaningful now as Neptune is also stationing and turning direct. In some way you are being asked to bring your life (your daily routines, activities, what you do) more in alignment with your hopes and aspirations. Pragmatic Saturn is showing you what is or is not realistically achievable. Even small adjustments at this time can make all the difference in your life. At the very least, pay attention to your dreams, feelings and premonitions, for when Neptune is strong it opens up this intuitive window of understanding and enchantment. Much seems to be pointing you in a certain direction, with the New Moon in Sagittarius. And if you were to ask for guidance, you may receive just the answers you need, through some sort of sign or symbol. What sorts of goals might you want to set for yourself in order to bring your life more in alignment with your highest ideals? Think about this if and when you choose to set intentions with the upcoming New Moon on Tuesday.
Up until the New Moon on Tuesday, make some space for reflection, and connecting with spirit, in whichever way is most meaningful for you. Pay attention to where you see your mind wandering, and allow yourself to be enchanted. Daydream. Meditate. If you were to want to improve some area of your life, where would that be? What would it look like for you to live a more meaningful life? And how can you make that a part of your everyday life? The New Moon in Sagittarius is a time to address certain areas of your everyday life: your work, your job skills, other useful skills, your diet, and/or any other health concerns or daily habits. Whether you wish to set long-term or short-term goals regarding these, this is the time to do so. There are other things that are emerging here as well for Cancer, beyond the mundane concerns of your daily routines, work and starting that exercise regimen. Venus is entering Capricorn this week, which will shortly be followed by Jupiter on December 2nd. And with both of these benefics about to be in your Solar or natal house of relationships, you may see some promising changes in that department of your life. Stay tuned.
At some point we all come to accept and embrace the human experience for what it is, realizing that it is imperfect. The question is: what are you, or are you not willing to accept? Wholeness is achieved by healing over rifts, and mending bridges: letting go of resentments, and old wounds that are no longer serving you. When you unload these, then you will make space for hope and enthusiasm to take root. What would it mean for you to feel that zest for life again? On Friday the Sun, our life star, enters Sagittarius, re-instilling some fiery optimism, enthusiasm and inspiration in our lives. Go with it! In some way you are being reminded of what it means to be alive again. Use the New Moon on Tuesday to further make the intention to do so. With this Moon, Leo is being asked to focus on having more pleasure in life, connecting with those people and things that bring you happiness, and joyfully expressing that to the world at large. Some good affirmations or intentions for this Moon might be: May I be open to the joy of adventure and exploring new avenues of expression; or I want all obstacle to my joy and happiness lifted from me.
Your ruling planet Mercury, is finally appearing to move forward again, and will soon pick up speed. In the mean time it is daring you to allow yourself to be enchanted: dream, wonder, and reinvest your life with personal meaning and joy. Some good questions to ask yourself this week: What would it mean for you to live a life of meaning and purpose? And in what practical ways can you bring your life more in alignment with your hopes and dreams? It may be something quite simple, such as allowing yourself more time to read, or taking walks, or taking that class you’ve been really curious about. It is also a week to consider who are those people who are there for you when you truly need them, and who you could depend on from here on going forward? The upcoming New Moon on Tuesday beckons Virgo to become more attuned to your inner emotional needs, and providing more safety and security. By coming to the grateful conclusion of a situation, you are now free to move into new spaces, reborn and refreshed. A good intention for this Moon might be: May I be open to embracing the new order that is emerging.
For its last hurrah, your ruling planet Venus is cavorting with jovial Jupiter this weekend. Don’t waste it hiding away! Do some of your own cavorting: rub elbows; share stories; do things that will help to re-instill happiness, inspiration and joy in your life. Monday you will be in a more serious frame of mind, but for this weekend dare to let your hair down and go off the beaten track. Don’t worry about whether or not you fit in. These days are filled with with an edgy excitement that challenges all of our insecurities. Look for someone or something different to light up your week. The New Moon on Tuesday is daring Libra to be inspired, to realize that you don’t necessarily have to keep doing things the way you have in the past, and that there are alternatives. If you choose to do so, some possible intentions for this Moon might be: May I find inspiration to broaden my understanding through my interactions with others; or May I find humor in even the most challenging of circumstances.
Mercury is finally appearing to move forward once again, offering you opportunities to go back over any issues that may have arisen during the past 3 weeks. What needs correcting? What now needs to be planned? Mars entering your sign last week, was pushing you to move forward, but you still may want to be a little cautious about jumping into anything prematurely, or making assumptions. Things could appear to be moving quickly and other people’s actions may be somewhat unpredictable catching you off guard. You may be forced to have to defend yourself, but it would be wise to avoid further stirring things up until everything simmers over. One thing to consider this week: what may need to end or be transformed in order to bring yourself and your life more in alignment with your hopes and dreams? What changes are you willing to make in order to do so? The New Moon on Tuesday is asking Scorpio to reevaluate their priorities. What are those people, things, experiences that you want to invest your valuable time, money and resources on? It is also a time to take stock of your financial situation, and create a sustainable plan for the future.
Both Venus and Jupiter, hope and happiness, are dancing in your sign this weekend, reminding you of the people, the experiences and things that matter most to you. Who or what brings you joy and happiness, and how can you have more of that in your life going forward? With the New Moon also in your sign this week, this is a Moon of renewal and hope for the future. It will be especially relevant and strong for those Sagittarians born in November, or who have 0-8º of Sagittarius rising, but all Sagittarians can benefit from setting intentions with this Moon. If you were to think in terms of today being the first day of the rest of your life, what would you like to improve, or make better? What would you like to further invest in? The New Moon is trying to reinvest your life with hope and enthusiasm for the future. And if you were to make a statement about who you are, what would that look like? If you choose to make intentions with the New Moon some possibilities might be: May I be open to the joy of adventure and exploration of the possibilities unfolding before me; or I want to find deeper meaning in my life by being a truer and more authentic expression of myself.
Mercury is finally appearing to move forward again, and in doing so is connecting with the prevailing Saturn/Neptune sextile which is trying to show you the best ways to bring deeper meaning into your life and goals. In many ways, quite a few Capricorns may find themselves and their lives going through a period of adjustment and transformation. Some things may have already ended, or are about to, in order to allow a new beginning to unfold. Mercury, who has been asking you to reexamine your hopes and wishes going forward, is now showing you those things and experiences that will most benefit you. Venus, the planet of happiness, will be entering your sign after the weekend. It will soon be followed by Jupiter, the planet of expansion, on December 2nd. This is so promising! You might want to begin with thinking about who or what are those things that will bring more happiness and hope into your life, and how you can have more of that going forward? If you wish to make intentions or positive affirmations with the New Moon on Tuesday, some possibilities may be: May I receive the guidance to bring deeper knowledge and understanding of myself, my life and my true purpose; or May I have the courage to release what I no longer need in order to make a clean start.
Avoid jumping to conclusions, or stirring up the pot any more than is necessary. A lot of people are going to be on edge this week, and you definitely will not want to open up that explosive can of worms. There could be circumstances that suddenly change the current picture, making you feel as if you need to make changes sooner rather than later. Probably best to wait until things settle down a bit. You don’t want to be jumping out of the frying pan into the fire. On the other hand, if you’ve been waiting for the opportunity to make a much needed change, this may be the time when you have the courage to finally be able to do so. If you need to make changes, this may be your window of opportunity. But if you don’t need to yet, best to avoid stirring things up any more than you need to. The New Moon on Tuesday is the wishing Moon for Aquarius. It is asking you to realign yourself with your hopes and wishes for the future. If you were to envision a bigger, brighter future, what would that look like for you? If you are interested in doing so, a good intention for this Moon might be: If this dream is meant to be for me, may the best possible circumstances arise to see it fulfilled.
There are a few shifts for Pisces over the coming weeks. Neptune has slowed for its direct station on the 27th, and Jupiter is in the last days of Sagittarius, before it moves to Capricorn. Jupiter and Neptune are the co-ruling planets of the sign of Pisces. For the past 5 months, Pisces has been getting in touch with their own inner Neptune: those things that bring more meaning into your life; your connection to others; your imagination, ideals and dreams. As Jupiter aims to move into Capricorn in December, you will want to further commit to those things that you deem most meaningful to you. You might want to ask yourself: What does it mean for me to live a life of meaning? And what can I do to get myself back on track? This is one of those times when signs and omens are strong. But the New Moon on Tuesday is a reminder to Pisces, that it’s not so much about knowing what the future has to bring, and making decisions accordingly, it’s more about knowing yourself, and what is the right thing for you. And using that to determine what choices and decisions you might want to make going forward. May you always be guided to do the right thing.
