The Saturn/Pluto Conjunction in Relationships - A New Cycle, A New Start

Everything turns in circles and spirals with the cosmic heart until infinity. Everything has a vibration that spirals inward or outward — and everything turns together in the same direction at the same time. This vibration keeps going: it becomes born and expands or closes and destructs …Nothing truly dies. All energy simply transforms. ― Suzy Kassem

The planetary energies have been building up to this day for many weeks and months and now – here it is – the start of a whole new 30+ year cycle for all of us!

Unlike the start of a year, which is a somewhat arbitrary choice; when planetary energies join forces in the sky, they reverberate through the Cosmos and within our Psyche. Something comes together and seeds a new beginning, as the door to the previous cycle closes behind us! It can feel a bit like moving from primary to secondary school where we know the expectations have changed, and we are a little anxious about what’s expected of us in this new environment.

The key themes that are reverberating today within ourselves and our relationships include:

  1. Power and personal empowerment.
  2. Authenticity, honesty and integrity.
  3. Commitment and accountability.

For some this may translate into barely perceptible subtle inner shifts. For others it may entail leaving a relationship that is not based on authentic love, or starting a new relationship that touches the very depths of your soul!

The outer results may not manifest for a while, but a process has started deep within each of us as the wake-up call to live an authentic life is ringing loudly.

Some things to consider today:

  1. Who am I at the core of my being?
  2. Who around me reflects that back to me?
  3. Who can I fully be myself with?
  4. Who can most help me grow right now?

As events around the world unfold during this time, the challenge for all of us is to not get caught up in ‘fear’ for ourselves and our loved ones. Pulling our fear based projections back from those around us, allows us to make clearer decisions about who we choose to walk with in this new cycle, and how to do it in a conscious manner.

Love is the key to all of this – as always. Love that is first and foremost based on honesty within ourselves. Love that acknowledges all our feelings at all times – including the sticky messy ones! Love that nudges us to do whatever is required to be fully present with ourselves. Love that helps us laugh at our foibles, and supports us in making self-compassionate choices at all times. Love that softens and expands our heart, even when we are hurting. Love that is our essential nature! Love that becomes easy to share and grow with others, when we recognize it in ourselves! MG
