On February 5th, 2019, with the New Moon in Aquarius, we entered the Chinese year of the Earth Pig. It will last until January 25, 2020.
A year of negotiations and communication, it is also very good for money and relationships.
In the next twelve months, becoming more efficient in the way we manage our resources, material and spiritual, is essential. Clearing our debts should be a goal, easier to reach than usual. We are likely to find new, interesting ways of earning a living. Investing in real estate is favored inasmuch as we study the market carefully and are very clear on what we are buying. Honesty is a must. However, indulging in comfort, should not mean squandering money in pointless distractions or excessive luxuries. The sense of security we develop this year increases our ability to create more abundance. But if in money matters, we hesitate or vacillate, this could prevent us from having what we need when we need it. We should feel more generous than usual. Helping those less favored than ourselves is most rewarding this year, opening exciting new opportunities we never would have seen had we selfishly kept what we had, to ourselves. We are likely to find that we don't need much to be happy.
If we have been overextending ourselves these past years and find ourselves quite stressed out and exhausted. This is a great year to cut back a little, and if we can, even take a sabbatical.
Friendships are mutually beneficial. We are drawn to people who are culturally enriching. More than ever it is a must to free ourselves from toxic partnerships both on a personal and professional level. Single people should be able to attract a good relationship. A wonderful year to get married and/or have a child. Good will, as well as a deep need for balance, harmony and beauty permeate our social contacts. We feel benevolent, compassionate and tolerant towards each other.
Attending elegant events, interesting lectures, concerts or gallery openings enhances our sense of refinement. We are drawn to expanding our intellectual knowledge. Reading the works of Ancient Masters, digging into their biographies, studying the masterpieces they left, add major value to our lives.
Let us however beware of rich foods or excessive eating as we tend to take it easy in the year of the Pig. Indulging in too many pleasures, could make us quite fat! If we remain moderate, exercise reasonably and rest sufficiently, we should feel content and happy.
Despite its challenges, astrologically, this is a rather peaceful year.
Much love and Light!
