Weekly Musings, Episode 14

Weekly Musings, Episode 14

I truly want you to know that it's ok.

It’s okay if you’re experiencing a flood of emotions. It’s okay if you feel empty. It’s okay if you’re raging. The world is on fire, and the Moon is currently in Cancer, opposing the cluster of planets in Capricorn. We are feeling every milligram of the weight of the world, so give yourself plenty of time and space to sit with your feelings, feel them and process them. Venus in Leo is currently forming a trine to Chiron in Aries, too — being wounded hurts. But hiding our woundedness and vulnerability hurts nearly as much. So let it show. Talk it out. Share.

A silver lining comes tomorrow, Sunday 13, in the form of Jupiter stationing direct in the sign of Capricorn. I just wrote about it on the Zodiac Poetry blog [click here to read the forecast]. Not quite the green light we’re hoping for, but an invisible kind of forward movement nonetheless. The Moon will also enter Leo on the same day, directing our focus towards emotional self-expression.

Monday, September 14, the Sun in Virgo will form an intense, but flowing trine to Pluto in Capricorn: the Sun witnessing Pluto will enable us to direct our focus towards matters and subjects that need to be carefully and critically examined, while Pluto will enhance the magnitude of our personal power.

On Tuesday, September 15Venus in Leo will form a square to Uranus in Taurus, reminding that we’re not lovable and deserving of being seen and experienced in spite of our quirks, but precisely because of them. On the same day, the Moon in her balsamic phase will discreetly slip into Virgo.

The Virgo New Moon happens on Thursday, September 17, and I’m yet to write about it, but I can tell you that I have chosen “Small Flowers Crack Concrete” by Sonic Youth as the theme song. Virgo might often get praise for its modest and understated nature, but this New Moon possesses a quiet strength about it, and a remarkable potential.

Later on Thursday, the barely visible Moon will start climbing the Zodiac again, entering the sign of Libra, where it remains until Sunday early in the morning.

The card I have picked for the upcoming week is The Hanged One.

(Yes, The Spacious Tarot deck is seriously amazing and it has officially become my favourite). Mars has just stationed Retrograde in Aries. Don’t fight against the stillness. Use it as a vantage point to spot things you cannot normally see. Ease into the stillness. Commune with your surroundings and, most importantly, with what lies within, waiting to be unravelled.
Love,
Cristina
