Weekly Musings, Episode 18

Weekly Musings, Episode 18

Belated New Moon blessings, friends.

Yes, I skipped a newsletter last week — that’s because I’m currently in the process of moving to a different area of the country (as it happened quite a few times over the course of the past decade), and my days are less stable than usual. In case you missed my post about yesterday’s New Moon in Libra (which was intense, to say the least), you can read it here. And here is my take on Mercury Retrograde in Scorpio.

As for the upcoming week, you can expect the — by now — usual dose of Cardinal fuckery with a side of Venusian mildness. An almost awkward combination, indeed.

Tomorrow, Sunday, October 18Venus in Virgo will oppose  Rx Neptune in Pisces, while the Sun in Libra squares Saturn in Capricorn. Yearning for something while being painfully aware of hard limits at the same time can be grueling. If you find yourself in this place, you might have a hard time feeling worthy of the things (material, immaterial) your Soul yearns for. Take that feeling and channel into re-patterning your habits and actions so that they are aligned with your purpose (repatterning is pretty much the keyword for the current astro weather, anyway!).

On Monday, October 19, Jupiter in Capricorn is the protagonist, receiving a square from Retrograde Mars in Aries and a trine from Venus in Virgo. Expansion might feel simultaneously desirable and difficult to achieve — are you overestimating your capability or underestimating your deservingness?

On Wednesday, October 21, Venus in Virgo links up with Pluto in Capricorn via trine: empowerment is possible through self-inquiry in the realm of relationships.

On Friday, October 23, Scorpio season begins, while, on Saturday, October 24, Venus in Virgo forms a trine to Saturn in Capricorn, emphasizing the need to hold ourselves accountable in our relationships and work on being ideal partners and allies.

The card for the upcoming week is Death, Reversed.

This definitely speaks to me on a personal level, and I hope it resonates with you, too. Are you sabotaging your chances at rebirth out of fear? Are you settling for something that doesn’t nourish you because you’re afraid of ending up in places where you are not supported? Notice any resistance towards change coming up within yourself and do the work to unpack it.

Love,
Cristina
