This is a sweet and friendly full moon that is well geared towards healing, support and collaboration. Focus on beauty, gratitude, appreciation and awe. Take some time to anchor insights of your personal discovery of who you are into new routines and commitments to yourself especially your health and wellbeing.

This is a good moon for completions and reorganization of your physical and emotional landscape. Be flexible and allow for a bit of eccentricity and something out of the ordinary to cross your path and take hold. Instead of closing doors to unfamiliar offerings, expand your sense of adventure and ask, “why not?”

Gemini Full Moon invites exchange, commerce, and quick-witted palaver.  Expect the mind, thinking, communication and short, zippy travel to be in high gear.

Pallas Athena is still closely influencing the Sagittarius Sun with her feminine wisdom.  She opens our electrical bodies to receive communication from the highest frequencies and opens our energetic conduits to quantum healing with sound, color and vibration.  She lends neutrality to the emotional highs and lows we are riding as we enter eclipse season and the eventual conjunction of Saturn and Pluto in mid-January.  Plenty of mental stimulation will be available.  Luckily we have the earthy feet of Jupiter, Ceres, Saturn, Venus and Pluto all in Capricorn to ground us into building practical and steady progress into our lives.

A number of aspects to the Moon are testing our ability to adjust to the many levels of shift and change swirling around us.  A blessing of Gemini is air-sign objectivity coupled with Mercury’s neutrality.  We have been devoid of air signs lately and this Moon brings in that medicine – flexibility, adaptability, perspective, neutrality.

Jupiter has just made a big move out of optimistic Sagittarius and into practical, hard-working Capricorn.  After a year in Sag gleaning the big picture, Jupiter is ready for the next year to put all our visions of the future into play.  Jupiter has the benefit of Uranus’ (innovator, creator) support for reinventing the structures to support our lives as we move into our chosen future.  Both challenges and opportunity are afoot.  Jupiter has a big influence on this Full Moon chart.  Don’t be timid about changing up your holiday celebrations and gift giving in new, creative ways.  Uranus loves bringing the unexpected and the unorthodox to the party.

Saturn, Venus and Pluto are together at 19, 20, 21º Capricorn for Full Moon.  Strong, wise feminine elder influence is here to help us remember what we value, how to walk in integrity, how to heal ourselves and our communities, and how to bring the staying power and wisdom of the grandmothers into the light.  Who comes to mind when you think of your feminine, cultural wise women?  Venus is feeling protected and willing to speak the truth to power.

Neptune in Pisces is squaring the Sun and Moon.  Neptune tends to ‘go overboard’, get lost in illusion of some imagined reality, or succumb to addiction to suppress the suffering felt in the human condition. Neptune is also the planet of transcendence where we become unbound from the physical realms and connect to unity and inspiration.  Whatever is in denial may breach the surface.  Read the artful clues that Neptune is prone to scatter in your dreams, in slips of the tongue and in the synchronicities that present themselves.  Squares represent both crisis and opportunity.

Mars, still in Scorpio, is absolutely in support of any unconscious messages revealed by Neptune in Pisces.  These represent areas that will trip you up if left unattended. Channel Mars’ action into cleaning out untouched corners, basements, storage or better yet, into exploring the deep, spiritual intimacy of connecting your body and soul.

Mercury, just out of its shadow period and now moving fully direct, is finally in Sagittarius after over two months in Scorpio instead of its usual three weeks.  Mercury is ruler of this Gemini Full Moon chart.  Mercury in Sagittarius will bring us a more positive mental outlook, mental curiosity, and openness to foreign cultures and those different from us in beliefs and habits.  This is welcome practice for all the adjustments we are invited to make in our evolving and transforming times.
