Aspects, Evolutionary Configurations, and More.

The next two weeks offers us a lot of fulfillment, awareness, play, and pinpoint clarity, and as with last month, not much friction. Expect some highly specialized events these next two weeks!

Remember this Full Moon fulfills the Leo New Moon energy. That means the new energies we’re integrating are reorienting us toward the new Aquarian vision already cut loose this past year. This helps us bring our natural creativity to the surface as we become more precise in our focus while in the third phase of “graduating into a new realm of Being.” The Sun in Leo can help us play with others in a spirit of open sharing and communication.

Evolutionary Configurations

This month features four evolutionary configurations helping us navigate the oppositions while taking care of business. They are, in no particular order:

1) Mercury opposed Neptune and trine Pluto creates a dynamic triangulation throwing the void into late Cancer. This flips last month’s similar configuration which was trine Neptune and opposed Pluto, so this is somewhat of a natural progression of a type of dynamic energy. This particular configuration requires that we get clear about the roles we are and are not playing in the world, and see everything in terms of stages and phases of development.

Seeing the order and structure of things is favored, as is getting to the heart of any matter. This involves accepting a “mantle of power” or the grace required for some leadership role. Expect surges of spontaneity after mental housecleaning leading to enjoyment on the social and/or emotional levels of personality integration. Augmenting this energy is Mars also widely opposed Neptune but exactly trine Uranus, bringing harmonious Uranian energies to this configuration in a “collection of light.”

2) The Moon is biquintile Venus and quintile Uranus with Venus biquintile Uranus, creating a Kite configuration with Venus as the nozzle. This is a 5th harmonic configuration creating the promise of unique gifts and circumstances for all of us wherever we “begin anew” in the house where we have 8 Libra. This configuration promises high specialization and unique blessings for those with a planet or point near 3-9 Libra, 15-21 Sagittarius, 27 Aquarius-3 Pisces, 9-15 Taurus, and 21-27 Cancer.

3) Augmenting the previous configuration, we see Pluto and the Sun adding their energies to the Moon, Venus, Uranus field to create a powerful 10th harmonic configuration, as the Moon is opposed the Sun and decile Pluto, Venus is decile the Sun and tredecile Pluto, the Sun is tredecile Uranus and biquintile Pluto, and Uranus is tredecile Pluto. This creates a highly interactive specialization field indicating extraordinary serendipity will bless those with planets or points in the affected areas. These include 1-3 Virgo/Pisces, 3-9 Libra/Aries, 9-15 Scorpio/Taurus, 15-21 Sagittarius/Gemini, 21-27 Capricorn/Cancer, and 27-30 Aquarius/Leo. If you have something in one of these areas, your life will be blessed with unusual good fortune in some way.

The fourth evolutionary configuration (as usual) involves the Grand Irrationality anchored by Uranus septile Neptune. It’s not a major factor since no inner planet it setting it into motion. Even though I gave you the link to the main article in part one of this series, in case you don’t know about the Grand Irrationality, there have been two iterations of it. The first Grand Irrationality (1993-2017) was anchored by Neptune septile Pluto, and the second Grand Irrationality (2018-2021) has been anchored by Uranus biseptile Pluto, with Neptune occasionally configuring with Uranus in a septile, joining the two evolutionary patterns.

Both of these represent non-rational, “fork in the road of destiny” configurations blending the transpersonal revolutionizing of Uranus with the transpersonal “fog of mass consciousness” of Neptune with the purifying “death and rebirth” energy of Pluto. These are being triggered as planets transit late Leo and will be triggered when they transit mid-Libra when they make septile series aspects to Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto.

Major Aspects

Besides the various aspects I gave you related to the evolutionary configurations, forming (or partile separating) inner planet aspects include Moon quadranovile Mercury; Mercury is vigintile Venus and vigintile the Sun; Venus is quindecile Mars and trine Saturn; and the Sun is quadranovile Saturn.

Outer planet forming and partile separating aspects include Mars quadranovile Jupiter and biquintile Saturn; Jupiter is vigintile Saturn, binovile Uranus, quindecile Neptune, and elftile Pluto; and Saturn is trielftile Uranus and semisquare Neptune.

We have a broad representation of spiritual and a LOT of specializing aspects in this Full Moon chart. In the series related to destiny and “fate,” we find 1 septile, but have a lot more action in the other harmonics! In the 9th harmonic series related to spiritual realizations, we have 1 binovile and 3 quadranoviles. In the 11th harmonic series related to spiritual realizations, we have 1 elftile and 1 trielftile, and in the specializing aspect series, we have 3 vigintiles, 2 quindeciles, 2 deciles, 1 quintile, 2 tredeciles, and 4 biquintiles.

For those new to the craft, quintiles and biquintiles are 5th harmonic aspects, septiles and triseptiles are 7th harmonic aspects, noviles are 9th harmonic aspects, deciles (semi-quintiles) and tredeciles are 10th harmonic aspects, the elftile series are 11th harmonic aspects, the quindecile is a 15th harmonic aspect, and the vigintile is a 20th harmonic aspect. Each of these has a unique function in the phase relationship of the two planets in aspect.

The 5th, 10th, 15th, and 20th harmonic aspects are specializing and bring forth partially or fully developed quintessential elements of the planets involved. The 7th harmonic aspects help us make choices to fulfill our destiny, and the novile series aspects (9th harmonic) represent entry or exit points of periods of gestation which can bring forth possible spiritual developments. The 11th harmonic aspects involve situations where there is a need to transcend and master some form of duality by making a leap of faith.

The various aspects in all these different harmonic series indicate points where the theme of the Whole Cycle becomes clear, whether through major developments or minor refinements in the process. Each aspect shows a phase relationship, specific to the special and unique circumstances of that particular Whole Cycle. It's how we can know when to work, when to play, when to create, when to imagine, when to have faith, and when to mobilize!

The Eclipse Factor

Besides the current Total Lunar Eclipse and the recent one at 20 Gemini on June 10, we’re still “under the beams” of the June 2020 Solar Eclipse at 1 Cancer and the December 2020 Solar Eclipse at 24 Sagittarius. As most of you know, I take the view that all Eclipses are “cosmic recyclers” removing what we no longer need in the houses where they occurred. The June 2020 Solstice Solar Eclipse marked a change of allegiance for everyone, with hard adjustments and sacrifices for all. We will be reuniting with fellow Fire Spirits the next few years as we move into a new personal and social order.

Taken with previous Solar Eclipses from Christmas 2019 and before, whatever ended in 2020 unblocked our ability to accept a “mantle of power” so that our Light can take shape as a new form of Truth, freedom, compassion, and obedience to Dharma. Besides the June 2020 Solstice Solar Eclipse at 1 Cancer, and the Christmas 2019 Solar Eclipse at 5 Capricorn before that, we’re also still experiencing past Solar Eclipse “cosmic recycling” wherever we have 16 Capricorn, 21 Cancer and 19 Leo, due to Eclipses on these degrees. The endings of 2018 and 2019 helped us get organized, explore what success really means to us, and find techniques to let go of prior fixed social roles.

All these Solar Eclipses, along with others, have allowed us to “shed skins” wherever we have 9, 19, and 30 Pisces, 28 Aquarius, 29 Leo, 10 Virgo, and 21 Virgo, as well as the degrees of the recent Eclipses at 1 Cancer and 24 Sagittarius. As you can see, that involves a large part of our charts! You can find out which Solar Eclipses are still showing effects by referring to Astrology in June 2021 - On The Threshold of an Annular Solar Eclipse at 20 Gemini which lists which Eclipses are done and which are still in play.

A good meditation would be to take a look back at how something related to those points in your chart ended after those Eclipses, and examine how new events, new people, and new life experiences came in those chart areas. All our losses of the past few years associated with these signs have left voids which have attracted, are attracting, or will attract life contents more appropriate to who we are now. Alternately, you may be feeling a void because someone else really isn’t there. Now it’s time to turn to what will nourish you.

Element Balance

This Full Moon features a “balanced imbalance” in element distribution. At this time, of the traditional 10 planets, there are 4 planets in Earth, 4 in Air, 1 in Water, and 1 in Fire signs. This makes Earth (Practicality and Grounding) and Air (Relatedness and Communications) preponderant, with far less Water (Feelings and Experiencing Life on Deep Levels) and Fire (Inspiration and Light).

Air and Earth are “cool” elements, while Fire and Water are “hot” elements. With this distribution, things are cold as a mountain cave! Air and Earth can be likened to a mountaintop, very arid but grounded with a wide view. Fire and Water are hot springs or a lake inversion. Still, with the Sun in Leo as our Fire planet, what Fire we have is pretty strong.

The current sequence at present of Deciding, Feeling, and Thinking

We’ve been through several different sequences over the past few months. There are six patterns, and each has their strengths and weaknesses. This Lunation continues the New Moon pattern. As a process of moving through events, the most effective “firing sequence” for approaching life and experience over the next two weeks involves leading with our decisions and actions, followed by thinking, communicating, envisioning and finding a new view of things, and then feeling what we’ve done and seen.

This pattern leads with their decisions. They assess what needs to be done and then do it. Efficient, practical decisions and actions lead the way, followed by new information, new understanding, new vision, new communications, and new ways of interacting that helps us get clear about something.

Following this thinking function, we will need to reference our feelings and what we’re experiencing as a result of those insights, memories, understanding, or vision. After we decide or act and then think, we then need to go deep within to feel the implications of those ideas and visions. This is a highly effective pattern but tends to blow through experience without taking time to feel it.

So get it in gear, act on the facts at hand, and then go get new information or new ways of seeing things. After that, feel your feelings and check in about how you’re experiencing those thoughts, or that information or vision. Make a decision, get the view you need, and then name how and what you’re feeling. If you’re in doubt as to what to do, reference your feelings and not your ideas.

Saturn: Spiritual Master, Spiritual Friend

Because Saturn is now solidly in its home sign of Aquarius, it remains the final dispositor of all planets transiting Capricorn and Aquarius from now through 2023. That makes it a dominant force through April 2022. It is very strong in this Lunation as ruler of the Moon and Jupiter, and is still a major presence on the planetary stage occasionally sharing power with the others both behind the scenes AND in the scenes!

Remember that while Saturn can feel heavy, it represents that part of us which can take command of our lives and destiny by using Saturn’s virtues in the right way and time. Our ability to steer our “ship of personality” into its rightful “current of destiny” is in front of us, based in how we have prepared for our “role of destiny” heading at us like an express train! In 2019 we rehearsed and perfected roles and skills in 2020 to mobilize what we need at this time.

Throughout 2021 Saturn and Uranus introduce a frictional “dance of individualization” in our lives, generating new heart power as well as a more acute focus on our magnetism. We’ve begun to crystallize present and future rewards, as well as new group work and roles opening new chapters in our “hero’s journey” into the “new quality of Being rendering the old patterns obsolete” awakened by Uranus in 2019 and 2020.

I explain how Saturn and Uranus work together to awaken and structure our ability to utilize our Higher Powers to take conscious command of our destiny in my book Saturn: Spiritual Master, Spiritual Friend. Saturn helps us give form and structure to our quest for Self-realization, and due to its 3 month occupancy of the first two degrees of Aquarius in 2020, we got a preliminary instruction on how we can make a greater contribution to our civilization and come together with others in a great effort “ensouled by a great vision.” This was activated by the Grand Mutation conjunction of Jupiter and Saturn at the December 2020 Solstice, and now we can live our “new quality of Being” coming alive as expressions of our unfolding Higher Consciousness.

Summing it Up

This Full Moon helps us express through sharing, playing at communications and creative interactions, and promises a lot of unique gifts and blessings. This is a culmination phase, highly efficient, and extraordinarily clarifying.

Planets we have in the middle degrees of the Earth and Water signs will be highly benefited, so may attention to details as you discharge your plan with efficiency. There is much that is promised which cannot be put into words, since how do we describe something totally unique perfect for each of us in some specific way? This period will have relatively little friction in and of itself, though of course we all have something being squared or opposed almost all the time.

Because this Full Moon falls on the culminating degree of the Leo/Aquarius axis, go for the highest, broadest spiritual view you’re able to attain, seeing your spiritual Sisters and Brothers as part of the greater Light Field we all share together. This Lunation can bring us to a peak of high realization in knowing what to share, who to share it with, and how to share it to bring forth the greatest good for the greatest number over time. Whatever we’ve been committed to since February is about to accelerate in a huge way!

We began our Leo stage play a few weeks ago, and now finish it for the year. Be expansive, use friendly competition to achieve quick concrete results, and be diligent as you explore how to express inner powers you didn’t even know you had. There is high realization promised by this Full Moon, with all of us being led by “The Cosmic Shaman King” to a larger vision and potential.

Enjoy the harmony and unique gifts and blessings promised by the many biquintiles and tredeciles, as serendipity is in the air, bringing unique circumstances which are perfect for our gifts, as well as gifts which are perfect for our circumstances. As there’s really no friction, enjoy the freedom to play or create as you are inspired to do so.

In May 2020 we “graduated into a new realm of Being” which brought us to the “open doors of possibility” promised by Jupiter’s first transit of the “Transfiguration Zone” at the end of Aquarius in late April and early May. We’ve just experienced Jupiter’s second pass through this zone where the Great Ages meet, and this Full Moon in the Transfiguration Zone should bring many things about our ongoing transfiguration into focus. We’ve now secured the next phase of our Aquarian adventure into our higher purpose which Saturn is helping us structure this year and next.

Even though they are now out of the exact square, with Saturn in Aquarius and Uranus in Taurus we’ll continue to navigate the conflict between these two signs which will last through 2022. Each transit in the first half of Scorpio will trigger both these planets and release tremendous energies into our Leo sector, so I hope you had fun “practicing the future” in July and August!

As we continue to develop the potentials indicated by Jupiter and Saturn in Aquarius, we’ll see more and more movement away from the ideas and expressions dominated the old 200 year Earth Era and into the emergent 200 year Air Era which launched at the December Solstice. This Aquarian Air Era already began to express via the conjunctions of the inner planets with Jupiter and Saturn in Aquarius in January and February this year. Coming transits through Libra and Aquarius will give more momentum to the emerging Air era.

Where these Aquarian conjunctions occurred in our charts show us the way to our long wave metamorphosis as we transition through the beginning of the end of the Age of Pisces, entering into 34 years of increasing manifestations of the Age of Aquarius. This transitional period requires that we ask ourselves certain questions related to what we care for and care about, since we’re being called to be fearless as we let go of all that is unnecessary and irrelevant to find a transcendent security as we walk through the world but are not “of” the world.

We have been navigating the final season of humanity’s “liberating ordeal.” All of us have had opportunities to find new inner strengths and powers the past three years, and have the ability to find assistance from Devas and Angels who bring “divine help when human efforts seem to fail.” We now are in a time of receiving blessings, manifesting powers beyond normal understanding, and demonstrating how well we’re able to share with others in a spirit of nonpossessiveness.

Also remember that at this point, we’ve all reached some level on the “mountaintop” where we’ve found a “fellowship of spiritual Sisters and Brothers” we’re a part of. Demonstrate your skill, and remember that attaining the mountaintop only requires a) that we enjoy the view and accomplishment, and b) the awareness of when to begin the careful descent, since we don’t want to get caught on a mountaintop when lighting clouds are blowing in!

Having finished many old ways and now rapidly leaving behind all which doesn’t serve our momentum into our greater purpose, we now can play as we accelerate our adventure in consciousness, able to live a more purposeful life within a greater group structure. We now can embrace a new way of fulfilling Dharma, or our purpose for being alive. We are living a new identity, a new love, a new spiritual awareness, and a new spiritual expression in grounded ways, so keep your mind and heart open and keep coordinating your body, feelings, and mind to demonstrate a stable and harmonized Soul energy. That's a great part to play as we dance through life's changes!

A Meditation on Light and Shadow

Because life seems to be a never-ending experience of out-breathing elements of the past and in-breathing elements of the new, it is useful to remember that when we are moving through major changes, and something new is introduced into our lives, it means that something else must leave, or has already left, to provide space for the new to be embraced. And lesser wisdom must give way to greater wisdom, and old forms give way to newer realities. As I’ve offered before “enlightenment” is a verb more than it is a noun.

While sometimes having to say goodbye to older, lesser ways of life can be a drag, it is important to remember that even though life can occasionally be painful, we do not have to suffer. And as we learn to break the link between pain and suffering, we heal our part of humanity and the world.

For your contemplation, a final meditation I offer each month at the end of our Full Moon journey of exploration.

We are Light. All things are composed of Light in various frequencies that express as limitless forms. Some light frequencies are of greater density than others.

All shadows result from light hitting a dense object. Psychological shadows too. Therefore, it’s good to become as translucent and translucid as possible to dispel lurking shadows.

If you must look at and/or deal with shadows, whether your own or another’s, then refocus your Light on the object being illuminated, since that form is the source of the shadow.

Find the correct 4 angles of illuminating whatever you want to focus on, and all shadows will be dispelled. Then you’re seeing things with an illuminated mind, and can act accordingly.
