Aspects, Configurations, and More

The next two weeks will find us at crucial turning points between past and future. What do you want to guard? Why do you defend what you do? Are you willing to go into the unknown? This period either eliminates or regenerates people and activities in our lives.

This Lunation marks a major shift in energies, with superficialities busted and impulsiveness bringing unexpected karmic blowback. This time requires concentration and focus, with a redirection away from taking things personally to understanding the need for self-purification from time to time if we are not to fall into delusions, unhealthy attachments and states of mind, and negative mindsets. This is a time to allow “the Lord of Your Underworld” to purify you of negative personality responses so you may “do your Being” in the world.

This month there are NO difficult configurations, and a major harmonious configuration provided by Pluto in Capricorn cutting the Lunation’s “Tension of Opposites” into a sextile and trine. This is very beneficial for “regeneration and renewal” through enjoying playing the part we’re born to play, and seeing how our past expectations took some surrenders in order to make the space for new things to manifest.

The Eclipse Factor

We’re always “under the beams” of recent Eclipses, as well as older ones. These “Cosmic Recyclers” are always helping us eliminate what we no longer need to deal with related to the sign and house they fell in. We’re now shutting something down we no longer need in life areas symbolized by Cancer and Capricorn. The Nodes are the keys to understand how we’re accepting and growing, and what we’re demonstrating or letting go of.

The recent Total Solar Eclipse at 11 Cancer has already begun to strip away all which would inhibit our sense of humor or irony. It’s also exposing others’ “ego pomposity” and resumptions, giving them a chance to take a breath and not take themselves so seriously. We’re also still experiencing past Solar Eclipse “cosmic recycling” wherever we have 16 Capricorn, 21 Cancer and 19 Leo, as we had Eclipses on these degrees.

The endings of this year and last have helped us get organized, exploring what success really means to us, and letting go of old “social rigidities” to be happier. All these Solar Eclipses, along with others, have allowed us to “shed skins” wherever we have 9, 19, and 30 Pisces, 28 Aquarius, along with 29 Leo, 10 Virgo, and 21 Virgo. As you can see, that involves a large part of our charts!

Add various Lunar Eclipses in play for several months after they happened (including the most recent one at 25 Cancer/Capricorn!) and you can see areas where we’ve been eliminating things we no longer need since January. A good meditation would be to take a look back at how something related to that axis in your chart has left and been replaced with something new. All our losses associated with these signs have left voids which will attract life contents more appropriate to who we are now. Alternately, you may be feeling a void because someone else really isn’t there. Now it’s time to turn to what will nourish you.

Major Aspects and Configurations

This month we have relatively few aspect overall, and almost all of them are productive or mildly specializing. The only friction is provided by Venus conjunct Jupiter square Neptune which can help us see human motive and folly from a different angle of understanding and confront any locked up power within us. Open to new ideas, new approaches, and new ways to execute any given action. Stay clear in your relationships, and keep your new dedication in view as you outperform even yourself!

The “Tension of Opposites” involving the Moon opposing Sun is the only opposition this month. Even the Rhomus Diamond friction is in the background at this time, relieving some of the generic atmospheric pressure.

Are are no major evolutionary configurations, but there is a phenomenally harmonious 4 note “chord” made of sextiles and trines to the Full Moon by planets in Capricorn and Pisces. This will be VERY favorable for any planet or point we have around 14-24 degrees of the Earth and Water signs.

Even though Uranus is again biseptile Pluto, anchoring the Grand Irrationality, it is not triggered by any other planet in this chart. So at least for now, it would seem outer world events won’t have such an insane hard edge as in recent weeks. The main energies over the next 2 weeks involve Mercury retrograde, bringing a look back, a new understanding, or maybe reconnections with people from the past.

Besides what I just gave you, forming (or partile separating) inner planet aspects include Moon triseptile Mars and biquintile Jupiter; Mercury is quindecile Venus, novile Jupiter, sextile Saturn, and trine Neptune; Venus is quindecile the Sun, conjunct Jupiter, bielftile Saturn, and decile Pluto; and the Sun is quindecile Mars, decile Jupiter, and pentelftile Uranus.

Outer planet forming and partile separating aspects include Mars sextile Jupiter and binovile Saturn; Jupiter is binovile Neptune and quindecile Pluto; Saturn is tredecile Uranus, sextile Neptune, and conjunct Pluto; and Uranus is biseptile Pluto. Obviously the aspects made from Jupiter out are long term influences.

The very powerful Uranus biseptile Pluto is now back in orb. How we handled the Saturn biseptile Uranus earlier this year will determine which “awakenings” will occur in our lives, since Saturn gave us the structure for the unique beginning Uranus always signifies. The biseptile is an irrational aspect of the 7th harmonic series. Saturn gave us the beginnings of the structure which will now be infused with Uranian awakenings, which in turn will affect the group activity to come when Saturn again biseptiles Uranus this December.

The biseptile between Saturn, the planet of “Spiritual Mastery and Spiritual Friendship” and Uranus, the planet symbolizing the Divine Revolutionary who follows their own path to their Higher Destiny, set the stage for the off-again, on-again Uranus biseptile Pluto from the same sectors in the zodiac. This will dominate the landscape for a long time to come, so expect some major choices and changes which will help you shape your destiny and live your higher purpose. I have termed the evolutionary pattern created by the biseptile “the Grand Irrationality V.2”, and it most affects planets and points near the zones I gave you earlier for Uranus biseptile Pluto.

We have a lot of spiritual and specializing aspects in play this Full Moon! Of the series related to destiny and “fate,” we have 1 biseptile and 1 triseptile. In the 9th and 11th harmonic series related to spiritual realizations, we have 1 novile and 1 binovile, 1 bielftile and 1 pentelftile. This month we continue to have an abnormal number of specializing aspects active, including 4 quindeciles, 2 deciles, 1 tredecile, and 1 biquintile.

For those new to the craft, quintiles and biquintiles are 5th harmonic aspects, septiles and triseptiles are 7th harmonic aspects, noviles are 9th harmonic aspects, deciles (semi-quintiles) and tredeciles are 10th harmonic aspects, the elftile series are 11th harmonic aspects, the quindecile is a 15th harmonic aspect, and the vigintile is a 20th harmonic aspect. Each of these has a unique function in the phase relationship of the two planets in aspect.

The 5th, 10th, 15th, and 20th harmonic aspects are specializing and bring forth partially or fully developed quintessential elements of the planets involved. The 7th harmonic aspects help us make choices to fulfill our destiny, and the novile series aspects (9th harmonic) represent entry or exit points of periods of gestation which can bring forth possible spiritual developments. The 11th harmonic aspects involve situations where there is a need to transcend and master some form of duality by making a leap of faith.

The various aspects in all these different harmonic series indicate points where the theme of the Whole Cycle becomes clear, whether through major developments or minor refinements in the process. Each aspect shows a phase relationship, specific to the special and unique circumstances of that particular Whole Cycle. It's how we can know when to work, when to play, when to create, when to imagine, when to have faith, and when to mobilize!

Element Balance

We return to a somewhat imbalanced element distribution. Of the traditional 10 planets, there are 2 planets in Fire signs, 3 in Water, 4 in Earth, and 1 in Air. This increases Earth and decreases Air from last month’s Full Moon. So this Lunation we have a preponderance of Earth (Practicality and Grounding) and Water (Feelings and Experiencing Life on Deep Levels), a fair amount of Fire (Inspiration and Light) and almost no Air (Relatedness and Communications).

Air and Earth are “cool” elements, while Fire and Water are “hot” elements. With this distribution, things are somewhat balanced between heat and cold. Just remember that with so much Earth and Water, this combo makes either mud or bricks, depending on how you work with the material. So while some will find a greater focus in a self-organized “enlightened self-interest,” others will find themselves “stuck in the mud” of defensive calculations.

The current sequence at present of Deciding, Feeling, and Thinking

We’ve been through several different sequences over the past few months. There are six patterns, and each has their strengths and weaknesses. As a process of moving through events, the most effective “firing sequence” for approaching life and experience over the next 4 weeks involves leading with our thinking, then deciding, then feeling.

This pattern leads with a vision, or an understanding, or a communication, and then makes decisions and actions based in those things. While it is tempting to move back into more thinking, communicating, and envisioning, it is more important to move from deciding or acting into feeling what we’re experiencing as a result of those actions and decisions, and bring those feelings to the surface of your consciousness and get clear about what you’re feeling and why.

By naming the feeling or experience, it will naturally lead us back to new information, new vision, new ideals, and new understanding upon which you can do your next set of decisions and actions. Then again name what you’re feeling. That way nothing will get bottled up through underuse, and you can move through experiences with power and clarity.

So lead with your vision, understanding, and what’s being communicated into decisions and actions. Then after the decision or action, sit with the feelings and experience them, bringing them to the surface of your consciousness and get clear about what you’re feeling and why. Just be careful of knowing when you have enough information and/or practice so you can do what you need to do, instead of getting caught in a Mercury retrograde loop!

Saturn: Spiritual Master, Spiritual Friend

Because Saturn is in its home sign of Capricorn, it is the final dispositor of all planets transiting Capricorn and Aquarius from now through 2023. That made it a dominant force in the last Lunar Eclipse as well as the Full Moons in Capricorn and Aquarius, since it ruled the Moon in both charts. Remember that though Saturn can feel heavy, it also symbolizes the power we have to take command of our lives and destiny by using Saturn’s virtues in the right way and time.

Though Saturn is no longer biseptile Uranus, we’ve begun to shape our lives through our choices since then. Saturn has been preparing us for a “role of destiny” later this year and next. We’re still rehearsing new roles for the future as part of the Saturn-Uranus “dance of individualization” in our lives and this month need tender care as we show concern for our “new quality of being which renders the old patterns obsolete.”

Summing it Up

This Full Moon hold the promise of moving into being greater than we imagined, expressed in very high, even ecstatic states of consciousness. There are many blessings for those who know “which way the winds of destiny blow,” and are willing to move into unknown zones, eliminating egocentricity, stuck feelings, unregenerate attitudes, and toxic interactions. As Mars is still in late Libra, keep activity balanced between the expression of hard power and soft power.

Remember September through December is a transition period, with reflections, reviews, rehearsals, and a new angles of understanding coming up via Mercury retrograde. With Mercury in Scorpio, it’s good for getting to the heart of any matter. With Venus on the degree of two 2018 Mercury stations, this should show us the value of “the power of our spiritual ancestry” we saw in 2018 and claimed in 2019. Continue to take a deeper look at things, see how you’ve been transfigured since January 2018, and see the humor in things that helps you attain objectivity.

We are rapidly approaching the intensity of coming conjunctions between the inner planets and the outer planets. This will bring tremendous fusions of future cycles between December 2019 and April 2020. The conjunctions in late Capricorn will alter both inner and outer space for years to come, so get ready to take responsibility or accept a role or duty somehow related to what appeared in early September.

This Autumn, many have left behind an old stagnant path and released forces which will bear fruit in the future. We’ve all prepared to leave an old trajectory, and been forced to concentrate to release what needs release, whether letting go or demonstrating what could be. We now stand on the threshold of a new era of productivity and compression of many rulers of many areas in our charts.

We’ve been dealing with echoes and perceptions related to our “escape from a narrow destiny” since 2016, as well as the standards we’ve lived by since 2009. We are still in the final phase of humanity’s “liberating ordeal,” and are finding new inner strengths and powers we’ve tapped the past two years, and have the ability to find assistance from Devas and Angels who bring “divine help when human efforts seem to fail.” Again, learn the power of forgiveness to create space for Grace to enter your Life. When new adventures beckon, embrace them with warmth, since you might find Spiritual Brothers and Sisters from past lives along the way!

The past two years have led us all to blend the old with the new, the traditional with the innovative, throwing us into an adventure in higher awareness where we can demonstrate expertise in fulfilling Dharma, or our purpose for being alive. We are living a new identity, a new love, a new spiritual awareness, and a new spiritual expression in grounded ways, so keep your mind and heart open and keep coordinating your body, feelings, and mind to demonstrate a stable and harmonized Soul energy.

A Meditation on Light and Shadow

Because life seems to be a never-ending experience of out-breathing elements of the past and in-breathing elements of the new, it is useful to remember that when we are moving through major changes, and something new is introduced into our lives, it means that something else must leave, or has already left, to provide space for the new to be embraced. And lesser wisdom must give way to greater wisdom, and old forms give way to newer realities.

While sometimes having to say goodbye to older, lesser ways of life can be a drag, it is important to remember that even though life can occasionally be painful, we do not have to suffer. And as we learn to break the link between pain and suffering, we heal our part of humanity and the world.

We are Light. All things are composed of Light in various frequencies that express as limitless forms. Some light frequencies are of greater density than others.

All shadows result from light hitting a dense object. Psychological shadows too. Therefore, it’s good to become as translucent and translucid as possible to dispel lurking shadows.

If you must look at and/or deal with shadows, whether your own or another’s, then refocus your Light on the object being illuminated, since that form is the source of the shadow.

Find the correct 4 angles of illuminating whatever you want to focus on, and all shadows will be dispelled. Then you’re seeing things with an illuminated mind, and can act accordingly.
