The next two weeks shows a wild ride in a time of major forks in the road of destiny and a LOT of gear grinding with innovation being the key to relieving the pressure! We have some amazing special configurations at this Full Moon which will bring many things together in a time of friction in coming days.

This month is certainly dynamic! This month we have frictional configurations involving both Cardinal and Mutable energies, showing something’s got to give, while at the same time the way these interact with each other makes for good productivity and understanding.

Evolutionary Configurations

We have several important evolutionary configurations this month! The first involves the Lunation, with the Virgo/Pisces axis a) cut by the sextile and trine made by Uranus, and b) cut by the semisquare and sesquisquare by both Mars and Saturn, making for a Hammer of Thor based in the square of Mars and Saturn both sesquisquare the Sun, releasing through the Moon making the semisquare to both Mars and Saturn! This is an extraordinarily frictional configuration which will grind and polish our hearts to a more perfect form if we can combine imagination and the ability to engineer solutions.

There’s yet another factor in the mix! When we add the Venus square Mars and opposed Saturn, we have a Cardinal T-square throwing the void into 25-29 Libra, requiring us to maintain balance and equilibrium as we integrate the conflicting energies. Add that Venus is sesquisquare the Moon and semisquare the Sun, and we have FIVE points of a Great Octile in play right now. (As an aside, I can affirm that times a hundred! It seems there’s a lot of rogue actors on the stage of life right now making life difficult for everyone else.)

The opposition, sextile, and trine created between the Lunation and Uranus throws a very favorable void into 9-13 Scorpio, so we’ll all build through our planets in that span of degrees, whether in Taurus, Cancer, Virgo, Scorpio, Capricorn, or Pisces. That building energy released through the friction prevailing in the zones involving 10-14 Pisces, Gemini, Virgo, and Sagittarius as well as 25-29 Aries, Cancer, Libra, and Capricorn. If you have planets or points in these zones, hang in there, since hurricane winds abound!

The oppositions, sextiles, and trine made by the Sun, Moon, and Uranus are extremely favorable, and will help us as we find the right rhythm and balance in moving through the rough waters of the numerous squares. So we have a favorable void in Scorpio, an integrative void in Libra, and grinding voids in the middle degrees of the Mutable signs and the late degrees of the Cardinal signs.

Last but certainly not least, we continue to have the very powerful evolutionary configuration involving Saturn biseptile Uranus and septile Nepune, with the very rare Uranus septile Neptune, activating a hybrid of both the first Grand Irrationality (1993-2017) and the second Grand Irrationality (2018-2021). As I told you last month, this shows the timekeeper and boundary-setting Saturn is now configured in a non-rational, “fork in the road of destiny” configuration with transpersonal revolutionizer Uranus and boundlessly inclusive Neptune.

We continue our run of months filled with major choices which will determine our future. Those most influenced have planets or points near 25-29 Capricorn, 17-21 Pisces, 9-13 Taurus, 30 Gemini-4 Cancer, 21-25 Leo, 12-16 Libra, and 3-7 Sagittarius.

Major Aspects

Besides the various aspects I gave you related to the evolutionary configurations mentioned previously, forming (or partile separating) inner planet aspects include Moon septile Jupiter and conjunct Neptune; Mercury is sextile Venus, trine Saturn, and sesquisquare Uranus; Venus makes only the aspects listed above; and the Sun is trine Jupiter and opposed Neptune.

Outer planet forming and partile separating aspects include Mars decile Neptune; Jupiter is on its stationary degree conjunct Saturn, sextile Neptune, and conjunct Pluto; Saturn is triggering the Grand Irrationality, and Uranus is still tredecile Pluto.

We have almost no spiritual aspects in play this Full Moon other than the series related to destiny and “fate,” where we find 3 septiles and 1 biseptile. We literally have no 9th and 11th harmonic series related to spiritual realizations, and no specializing aspects. This is a most peculiar circumstance, since it never happens. While the planets are making these aspects in your charts, there are literally NO transit to transit 5th, 9th, 10th, or 11th harmonic aspects happening!

For those new to the craft, quintiles and biquintiles are 5th harmonic aspects, septiles and triseptiles are 7th harmonic aspects, noviles are 9th harmonic aspects, deciles (semi-quintiles) and tredeciles are 10th harmonic aspects, the elftile series are 11th harmonic aspects, the quindecile is a 15th harmonic aspect, and the vigintile is a 20th harmonic aspect. Each of these has a unique function in the phase relationship of the two planets in aspect.

The 5th, 10th, 15th, and 20th harmonic aspects are specializing and bring forth partially or fully developed quintessential elements of the planets involved. The 7th harmonic aspects help us make choices to fulfill our destiny, and the novile series aspects (9th harmonic) represent entry or exit points of periods of gestation which can bring forth possible spiritual developments. The 11th harmonic aspects involve situations where there is a need to transcend and master some form of duality by making a leap of faith.

The various aspects in all these different harmonic series indicate points where the theme of the Whole Cycle becomes clear, whether through major developments or minor refinements in the process. Each aspect shows a phase relationship, specific to the special and unique circumstances of that particular Whole Cycle. It's how we can know when to work, when to play, when to create, when to imagine, when to have faith, and when to mobilize!

The Eclipse Factor

We’ve recently had two Lunar Eclipses, the first in Gemini and Sagittarius, the second one in Cancer and Capricorn, with a Solar Eclipse at 1 Cancer in the middle of the two. These “Cosmic Recyclers” are removing what we no longer need in the houses where they occurred. Generally speaking, The Gemini/Sag Eclipse is helping us find our cause, take a break from routines, and getting ready to act when it’s time, while not falling into distress at not knowing what’s ahead.

The Solstice Solar Eclipse marked a change of allegiance for everyone, with hard adjustments and sacrifices for all. We will be reuniting with fellow Fire Spirits the next few years as we move into a new personal and social order. Taken with previous Solar Eclipse from last Summer and Christmas 2019, whatever is ending will unblock our ability to accept a “mantle of power” so that our Light can take shape as a new form of Truth, freedom, compassion, and obedience to Dharma. We’re always “under the beams” of recent Eclipses, as well as older ones. These “Cosmic Recyclers” are always helping us eliminate what we no longer need to deal with related to the sign and house they fell in.

Along with the Christmas 2019 Solar Eclipse at 5 Capricorn, we’re also still experiencing past Solar Eclipse “cosmic recycling” wherever we have 16 Capricorn, 21 Cancer and 19 Leo, due to Eclipses on these degrees. The endings of 2018 and 2019 helped us get organized, exploring what success really means to us, and letting go of old “social rigidities” to be happier.

All these Solar Eclipses, along with others, have allowed us to “shed skins” wherever we have 9, 19, and 30 Pisces, 28 Aquarius, along with 29 Leo, 10 Virgo, and 21 Virgo. As you can see, that involves a large part of our charts! I gave you all the Solar Eclipse links in the first article on the Solstice Solar Eclipse, specifying which are done and which are still in play.

A good meditation would be to take a look back at how something related to that axis in your chart has left and been replaced with something new. All our losses associated with these signs have left voids which will attract life contents more appropriate to who we are now. Alternately, you may be feeling a void because someone else really isn’t there. Now it’s time to turn to what will nourish you.

Element Balance

This Full Moon has an extremely imbalanced element distribution. Of the traditional 10 planets, there is 1 planet in Fire signs, 3 in Water, 6 in Earth, and none in Air. This makes Earth preponderant, with very little Air and Fire. The preponderance of Earth (Practicality and Grounding), with a dose of Water (Feelings and Experiencing Life on Deep Levels), dominates the collective field, with an almost total lack of Air (Relatedness and Communications) and Fire (Inspiration and Light). At least the Fire is with us for a while and fairly strong, represented by Mars in Aries. And with Jupiter leading the outer planet occupied span, have a sense of humor, since “something’s lost and something’s gained in living every day….”

With the Sun in Earth and the Moon in Water, those elements are the primary focus of the Lunation. As Mercury and Jupiter rule the Lunation, Mercury and Saturn share power as Final Dispositors at this time.

Air and Earth are “cool” elements, while Fire and Water are “hot” elements. With this distribution, we have a somewhat cool time ahead. Just remember that with Earth and Water, this combo makes either mud or bricks, depending on how you work with the material. So while some will find a greater focus in a self-organized “enlightened self-interest,” others will find themselves “stuck in the mud” of defensive calculations. Mars’ Fire can assists us to make the bricks for the structures we’re building via the Earth energies, though it may get a bit difficult due to the squares.

The current sequence at present of Deciding, Feeling, and Thinking

We’ve been through several different sequences over the past few months. There are six patterns, and each has their strengths and weaknesses. This Lunation brings us a new pattern. As a process of moving through events, the most effective “firing sequence” for approaching life and experience involves leading with our feelings, then deciding, and then thinking.

This pattern leads with feelings, and then makes decisions and acts based in those feelings. While it is tempting to move back into more feeling after the actions, after we make our decisions and/or act, it will be important to get new information to come to a new vision or understanding. Once we get the right view or understanding, then a new feeling-experience will naturally arise that points the way to the next action.

So when you are moved by a feeling or experience, it will naturally lead to decisions on the basis of those feeling experiences, which should be followed by a search for new information, new ideas, new interpretations, and new views. We’ll be “feeling our way” into new experiences, then deciding and acting on the basis of those feelings. After a decision or action, then we’ll have to find newer, more up to date information, facts, and understanding so we can get a new vision.

So learn and teach through anecdotes, seeing how others handled things practically, or how you handed things practically in the past. Let your thinking and communicating and envisioning follow your actions, and let your feelings follow a new understanding, a new perception, or a new view.

Saturn: Spiritual Master, Spiritual Friend

Because Saturn is in its home sign of Capricorn, it remains the final dispositor of all planets transiting Capricorn and Aquarius from now through 2023. That makes it a dominant force through April 2022. Because Jupiter is in Capricorn, Saturn again is a major presence on the planetary stage as a final dispositor sharing power with Mercury, Mars and Neptune.

Remember that while Saturn can feel heavy, it is also our ability to take command of our lives and destiny by using Saturn’s virtues in the right way and time. Our ability to steer our “ship of personality” into its rightful “current of destiny” is in front of us, based in how we have prepared for our “role of destiny” heading at us like an express train! In 2019 we rehearsed and perfected roles and skills we’ll need in 2020 and beyond as part of the Saturn-Uranus “dance of individualization” in our lives. We’ve begun to crystallize present and future rewards, as well as new group work and roles opening new chapters in our “hero’s journey” into our new quality of Being awakened by Uranus.

Summing it Up

This Full Moon is dynamic, integrative, frictional, and challenges us to stay balanced, tender, clear, detached, with an eye to the big picture in terms of what’s ending. Show as much gratitude as you can for your friends and allies, as well as the training you’ve been given before now to deal with the ongoing friction of these months. We’ve now “graduated into a new realm of Being,” moving through a long wave metamorphosis as we transition through the beginning of the end of the Age of Pisces, entering into 35 years of increasing manifestations of the Age of Aquarius.

What do you care for? What do you care about? Remember you are part of the One Life we all are together. This is a time to be fearless in facing the Greater Truth, the Invisible Light of the Ageless Wisdom in its pure Solar Systemic form. Let go of all that is unnecessary and irrelevant to find a transcendent security as you walk through the world but are not “of” the world.

We went through a period of transfiguration in 2018 and 2019 where we have Scorpio in our lives, which concentrated our power and expression so we could dance into a greater awareness of our part to play in the new era. April, May, and June we all got a “cosmic visitation” which has begun to “galvanize us to action, liberating us from adverse conditions.” This is the time to use the humor we’ve cultivated since Summer 2019 and use it wisely to express elements of our purpose.

The multiple conjunctions in Capricorn between mid-January through late March brought tremendous fusions of future cycles and alter both inner and outer space for years to come. These Capricorn conjunctions involved many house rulers converging wherever we have late Capricorn in our charts. The compression of the first 3 months of the year set up the open conflict happening now which will last through 2022. Remember this entire year is one of transition from a 200 year Earth Era toward a 200 year Air Era which launches in December 2020 at the Grand Mutation!

We have been navigating the final season of humanity’s “liberating ordeal.” All of us have had opportunities to find new inner strengths and powers the past two years, and have the ability to find assistance from Devas and Angels who bring “divine help when human efforts seem to fail.” Again, learn the power of forgiveness to create space for Grace to enter your Life. When new adventures beckon, embrace them with warmth, since you might find Spiritual Brothers and Sisters from past lives along the way!

Having blended the old with the new, the traditional with the innovative, we now can live an adventure in higher awareness where we can demonstrate expertise in fulfilling Dharma, or our purpose for being alive. We are living a new identity, a new love, a new spiritual awareness, and a new spiritual expression in grounded ways, so keep your mind and heart open and keep coordinating your body, feelings, and mind to demonstrate a stable and harmonized Soul energy.

A Meditation on Light and Shadow

Because life seems to be a never-ending experience of out-breathing elements of the past and in-breathing elements of the new, it is useful to remember that when we are moving through major changes, and something new is introduced into our lives, it means that something else must leave, or has already left, to provide space for the new to be embraced. And lesser wisdom must give way to greater wisdom, and old forms give way to newer realities.

While sometimes having to say goodbye to older, lesser ways of life can be a drag, it is important to remember that even though life can occasionally be painful, we do not have to suffer. And as we learn to break the link between pain and suffering, we heal our part of humanity and the world.

We are Light. All things are composed of Light in various frequencies that express as limitless forms. Some light frequencies are of greater density than others.

All shadows result from light hitting a dense object. Psychological shadows too. Therefore, it’s good to become as translucent and translucid as possible to dispel lurking shadows.

If you must look at and/or deal with shadows, whether your own or another’s, then refocus your Light on the object being illuminated, since that form is the source of the shadow.

Find the correct 4 angles of illuminating whatever you want to focus on, and all shadows will be dispelled. Then you’re seeing things with an illuminated mind, and can act accordingly.
