A Note from Shelley

Okay, seriously, what is with these energies?! Are you still standing? I keep thinking things will settle, and then something else hits us. The latest has been solar storms. I’ve pretty much figured out how to roll with everything fairly gracefully (or at least that’s what I tell myself!), but solar storms really make me uncomfortable.  I’ve finally figured out that meditation helps me with them, but mostly I’m hanging on and begging/pleading/bargaining until they pass.

Common themes of the energies of late that I’ve been either experiencing myself or hearing about from others is fatigue, depression, miscommunication, appetite issues (either needing all the food or not wanting any at all), worthiness issues, headaches, achiness, extreme stress, feeling overwhelmed and, for me personally, a particularly intense time with allergies.  I also may have been a smidge emotional and a tad mood-swingy.  If you need me I’ll be hiding in my blanket fort.

As I struggled with the stress and general discomfort that I was feeling, I had the realization that this is how I used to live all of the time.  That means progress, great progress, has been made, now that huge stress is a rare thing.  What a relief to see that this seemingly never ending process has actually been accomplishing things!

I know that energy often runs in cycles and that intensity is always followed by a lull.  This too shall pass.  In the meantime, let’s be kind and gentle with each other, prop each other up, and remember these are the exact times we couldn’t wait to experience.  I have found the energies of the past couple of days somewhat lighter, so hopefully we are about to have a bit of a reprieve to catch our breath.

I’ve decided to not only have the daily messages, but to also compile them into a package once a week.  I find it can be really interesting to read them together!  So in our weekly newsletters, I’ll be sharing with you my favourite daily message from the week, and also a link to read the entire week’s worth all in one place.

Soooo, my favourite daily message from the week of Oct 17 – Oct 23 is…

Dear Ones, if someone has hurt you in the past, it is an indicator that they were not at a level of soul growth to choose differently. They simply did not know better.

Now you can say that they should have known better, but the reality is, if they were hurtful, in that moment they did not. They did not know better because the hurt happened.

Recognizing that you were hurt because someone did not know better, allows you to heal. It makes the affront less personal, and more an expression of who they were in that moment of time.
Expecting that if you tell them how they were wrong they will change, is usually met with disappointment because change, true change, comes from within. It comes from introspection and a desire to do better. It is an internal process.

If someone truly understands how they have hurt you, they will let you know. They will apologize and make amends, of their own accord. If you do not see that behaviour originating from them, it is likely that they still do not know better and will hurt you again.

There have been times that you did not know better, either. That does not make you bad or awful, but simply one operating at a level of growth that is not indicative of who you are today. You have grown from there, and that is a wonderful thing.

We urge you to let go of the ties that hold you to events that were unwanted. Let your true self lead the way. Forgive those who have not found their own divine nature yet. Surround yourselves with those who can see you in your truth and honour you for who you really are. Shine brightly and beautifully as you are today, and know that will draw to you those who can see that light and that truth.  ~Archangel Gabriel

With so much coming up for release, I’ve been finding myself right up against the really old yucky deep stuff.  You know, the stuff you really don’t want to look at but you can’t ignore because now it’s up and in your face?  Forgiveness has been a word that has been in my awareness the past couple of weeks, as well as knowing that I had some major releasing to do.  This message really helped soothe me.  It’s hard to cling to victim consciousness when you realize the person just really didn’t know any better.  It has made my wounds less personal, and from this shift of perspective I’ve felt less activated by those old issues, and able to move on.  And this has made me so, so grateful!
