2020 Pisces New Moon
23 February at 7.32 am PST- 10.32am EST- 3.32 pm GMT- 11.32pm AWST Perth
24 February at 2.32 am AEDT Sydney, NSW, Australia

The dark night sky is always filled with Sky Stories. Leading up to this Pisces New Moon those Stories are very powerful. Beautiful Evening Star Venus in Aries is reminding us when we are focused on a clear inspired vision we find our inner power to follow that vision. She is that brilliant light shining in the western sky after sunset. The West Direction is the place of adulthood and personal responsibility. Her Animal Totem guides are Falcon, clear vision, and Red Tailed Hawk, spiritual messenger (Northern Hemisphere) Crow, Sacred Law and fairness for all, and Raven, entering The Mysteries (Southern Hemisphere).

In the South Direction, the place of growth, expansion, and listening to our inner guidance, we have a Hexagon of Stars calling to us. They are Sirius (finding the Sacred in all things) Procyon (moving through times of transition) Pollux and Caster (healing the shadow and duality) Capella (action, movement, and freedom) the Royal Star Aldebaran watcher in the East (integrity at all times) and Rigel (sharing knowledge and wisdom for the good of all). The Hexagon relates to the number six, choosing to unite in love.

Morning Star Planets

In the southeast just before dawn we have Morning Star Planets (spiritual warriors) rising before the Sun. Mars in Capricorn (the right use of will) Jupiter in Capricorn (expansion of your Soul Purpose in the world) and Saturn in Capricorn (strengthening your spiritual foundation). These we can see visually. The hidden factor is invisible to the naked eye. Pluto, if you could see him, rises before Saturn.  He too is in Capricorn asking us all to transform ourselves and the world from fear to love. The Animal Totem guides for this Capricorn cluster are Snow Goose, commitment to our Soul’s Purpose vision (Northern Hemisphere) and Flicker Woodpecker, who guides us through transitions to all healing love (Southern Hemisphere).

neptune cw

Our planetary guides for this Pisces Moon cycle are Neptune at 17 degrees Pisces (illusion or illumination) and Jupiter at 18 degrees Capricorn (empowered purpose). They are sextile and working in harmony and offering us new opportunities to follow our Soul Purpose Path. But Jupiter is in a T Square with Venus at 18 degrees Aries (loss of self or independence and freedom) and the asteroid Juno at 20 degrees Libra (relationship conflict or harmony). A T Square forces us into a corner as motivation for change and finding new ways of doing things. Jupiter (expansion and growth of our spiritual vision) is the focus of this T Square. The Earth in Virgo is guided by Mercury Rx at 09 degrees Pisces (connecting with your inner wisdom to guide you) and Chiron at 03 degrees Aries (healing the wounded self and becoming the Authentic Self). Chiron is Square (motivation for change) Mars at 04 degrees Capricorn and the South Node at 06 degrees Capricorn (releasing the wounds from the past). Chiron is also square the North Node at 06 degrees Cancer (mastering the emotions to move forward in a new spiritual direction). This creates another T Square with the focus on Chiron. The message is “if you hang onto anger you will never be free”. Earth in Virgo is the Rainbow Bridge of Healing into Wholeness. Mars and the South Node are trine (removal of obstacles) Uranus at 03 degrees Taurus (breaking free from the past) and Uranus is sextile the Cancer North Node (opportunity to break through to a new ways of Being). The Universe always supports us for our Highest Good.

Cougar and Wolf

This Pisces New Moon cycle is about healing, forgiveness (ourselves and others) completion and release (letting the past go). On the Medicine Wheel for the Northern Hemisphere our Animal Totem guides are Cougar, spiritual power, and Wolf, who guides us through change as we become our powerful new self. For the Earth in Virgo, our guide is Brown Bear, introspection, healing, and The Healer. They are reversed for the Southern Hemisphere Medicine Wheel. It is time to surrender the ego’s need to be in control and merge with The Oneness of All where our Soul lives.

This New Moon is at 04 degrees Pisces 28 minutes. It is aligned (celestial longitude) with three Fixed Stars. Sadalmelek, the Lucky One (Constellation Aquarius) at 03 degrees Pisces 37. This Star guides us to opportunities we create through our own efforts. The Royal Star Fomalhaut, the watcher in the South (Constellation Piscis Australis) is at 04 degrees Pisces 08. This Star connects us to the poetic mind through a sense of magic and mystical imagining.  We also have Deneb Adige (Constellation Cygnus the Swan) at 05 degrees Pisces 35. This is the Shaman’s Star, the spiritual warrior seeking to merge with Cosmic Consciousness.

So this Pisces New Moon is speaking to your Soul. Just sit in silence and you will hear the message.

Namaste and blessings,
