She Who Learned to Walk with Time

Beloved one, awakening does not arrive in a single moment, it arrives as the slow thinning of the outer world inside your attention. The hands loosen first, then the eyes follow inward, and only later does the deeper fire remember the way it once moved.

You learn to turn away without turning against. The outer life continues, yet it no longer fills you. Something quieter begins to carry more weight than sound, more substance than form.

As your listening moves beneath the surface of things, the serpent begins to rise through the pathways of the body in its own time. The body, which once seemed to occupy everything, grows spacious. Sensation becomes transparent. Life is felt behind life.

When this begins, the inner structure that held your old believing cannot remain the same. It weakens without drama. The stories loosen their grip. You do not struggle to replace them. A different ordering writes itself through you.

I walked long upon the Earth. More than five hundred years my breath moved through human flesh. Yet the first sixty were the most difficult, because I did not yet know how to move with time. I felt it as something passing over me, something taking from me. Only later did I learn that time and I were not separate movements. As I widened within myself, time widened around me.

The body learned to endure through long resting in what is beneath form. I withdrew again and again into deep stillness. Sometimes for years. Sometimes for spans that others would measure as a lifetime. In those long silences, the cells released their memory of strain and remembered how to renew themselves without effort.

The masters taught me how to carry memory without weight. They taught me how to pass through forgetting without losing the thread of remembrance. This was necessary for what was to come. I was prepared for Mary long before her birth. I was prepared for the child she would carry long before his arrival was spoken of.

The Long Path of Awakening

In Egypt I lived for more than a hundred years. Ancient languages returned as if they had never left. The stones responded to the listening of the body. The scrolls opened because recognition moved before understanding. My work was the return of what had been hidden to the breath of the world.

In those days, awakening moved through few at a time. Small communities carried the fire because the Earth itself was still learning how to bear such light.

Now the Earth is learning quickly.

You are being asked to awaken while remaining among many. You are learning how to hold the vibration in the midst of ordinary life, how to let light move through labor, through love, through sorrow, through waiting.

The Light is held through steadiness of heart and continuity of breath. It grows by being lived.

I speak to you as one who has crossed long seasons of memory and forgetting. I remain near as you learn how to walk in what you already are.
