Are your steps enlightened?

Enlightened beings progress as they are able and exist as they are. You see, you and others have had past lives. During these times, there may not have been the understanding held today. And so those who had the desire then to have and to hold, if not clearing that, brought that into the next realm of being.

And so, those who accumulate may do so because of past lifetimes where that was prevalent. Prevalent to the extent that there was a loss of balance. In resolving what was amiss then, more can result in this lifetime. Do you see?

What Does It Mean to Be Enlightened

If you have no desire for the acquiring of more in this lifetime, that is a good thing. But separate from the question posed for the having and wanting in this time or another is separate and aside from the enlightenment one might seek. Do not assume that because you do not want this or that, that the degree of enlightenment held is sufficient to move you beyond what is in play in your day.

It is by the measured steps that you take that you can ferret out where one or the other stands. And by this, we mean where you stand.

And so, you live in a physical world. You may need a degree of money in which to navigate this planet. It is not wrong or improper to need a means of currency to do so. Yet, we will also say that many times, buying this or that is a means of completion. It is used as a means to make whole. And of course, things can never restore wholeness or balance. They are felt in many times as a temporary satisfaction for what was missing and void within your being.

And so seek always the restoration of wholeness. You see, you will not need this or that if you are complete and whole, for these things can never bring that.
