Do you recognize that your perspective is instrumental to how you navigate this life? You see, life is at best uncertain.

But do you see that each step did get you to where you are today, and the perspective held was instrumental in bringing you to the life you see today? And so, let us begin. Let us begin to share insights and guideposts that you can recognize and utilize while walking the pathways of your journey in this life. 

Do you see life as the adventure that it is? In so doing, you will transform the way you play this game. Game in that you enjoy the challenge of an electronic or board game, yes? Why not enjoy life as you know it, or the life that you will soon come to know? Step into that genre of thought. Doing so will most certainly propel you into a different way to look at things. The things you know now as routine or as being rote activities.

When you engage with each of them, be present and in the moment with them. Then you will experience each differently. You will interact with them in a unique, new way, and perhaps, get more out of the experience. In this way, change the trajectory and future occurrences within your world.

Consider this a new way to play the game of life, while having fun in the mix. What might you also consider now? Instead of disciplining yourself, forcing yourself to do some unwanted activity, what if you looked at each thing with a new inflection of purpose? How would that change the dynamic of your day? Do you agree that it is all about how you see things? And when you see things differently, you can then process them mentally in a different way than before. 

Perception vs Perspective

This shift of understanding is known as perception. And perceptions are good to reflect upon now because they do color your day and flavor your world. Perceptions flavor all. When you experience something that could be seen as beneficial or bad, how do you determine what you have been gifted? Depending on how you see this thing will depend on past occurrences and how they were interpreted. What do you believe? How did this thing flavor all you have come to know? So know this. Know that each thing is based on perceptions held. Those which you relied upon previously. They occur using beliefs held, experiences that occurred. They are more rudimentary. These then enter in to shift your perspective held.

And so how does your perception shift and change your perspective?

They allow you to see life through the rose-colored glasses that you have worn and wear. How you fill your day is so very precious. And so, do you know that you will always be able to look at your life through the lens of having enough or too little? Being cared for or abandoned. The glass is half full or half empty. You see, all are choices. All are choices according to your perception. Now, not judging, can you look at some current activities or concerns within your life and see that there is another way to look at the things that you were sad about before and find some beneficial points there, too?

All choices have led you to where you reside today — even if you did not believe you had any other choice. Can you see now that you chose the path you have walked? Each step takes you closer to or further away from your heart’s desire. So this is where we begin and where you should begin as we look to discover more together. Consider this a most sacred journey as you reflect upon it as a pathway to reach and exceed your expectations within this life. Expectations of how you reflect and see things through the lens of your own rose-colored glasses.
