The Council Explains the Subconscious

The Council: Possibly to make it somewhat clearer or understandable, another explanation would be helpful. Keep in mind that the subconscious mind, or that area referred to as the subconscious, is far greater than you can imagine. One can say it could relate very closely to the Akashic Records, yet this would only be in symbolic terms. It would be safe to refer to portions of the subconscious as the Akashic Records.

The subconscious is directly related to the soul or the spirit of the entity. The soul or spirit, being created from the Breath of God or the Pure Essence of God, is all-knowing of what is good and right. But because of its indulgences in its own gratification, it has not made the effort to do what it should have in its very earliest experiences in the material manifestation.

Consequently, that portion of the soul or entity referred to as the subconscious has set up barriers of resistance to the true flow of wisdom, love, and goodness. These barriers are set up against the entity itself. In other words, the outpouring of love is not as free-flowing as it should be. When the soul or entity tries to present activities in the material manifestation in a godly manner, these resistances distort or weaken the flow of energy necessary for perfect creation.

These resistances, or what one may refer to as filtering systems or gates, distort this flow. They weaken the flow of loving, creative energy from the entity to the material manifestation. The efforts then become distorted and subject to these gates or filtering systems, set up from past experiences.

The more there has been a lack of love demonstrated in past lives, the more strongly these gates prevent the flow of loving, creative energy. The energy becomes more distorted, weaker, or set in a certain pattern—likened to a bad habit.
