This Aries Moon cycle is a powerful time for healing wounds of rejection, betrayal and abandonment. We think of Aries as the sign of creative inspiration and pioneering action. And yes it does carry that vibration. But to truly move forward we need to heal our hidden wounds. Ultimately the only person that can abandon us is ourselves. This Aries New Moon is offering us the gift of knowing the Divine Spark in our Sacred Center the “I AM SELF”.

The Sun/Moon are meeting at 11 degrees Aries 31. They are travelling with Mercury at 09 degrees Aries 44. In Esoteric Astrology Mercury (spiritual messenger) is the Soul Centered ruler of Aries (inspired new beginnings). Chiron, the healer, is at 12 degrees Aries 18 gifting us with healing energy to heal and release those wounds of rejection, betrayal, and abandonment (Aries). The traditional ruler of this Moon cycle is Mars currently at 19 degrees Aquarius 31 (taking action to heal the collective wound). Mars is travelling with Saturn and Juno both at 22 degrees Aquarius (strengthening our relationship to Cosmic Consciousness). Venus (love and harmony) is also part of this cluster at 25 degrees Aquarius. But they are Square the North Node at 23 degrees Taurus (empowered new directions) and the South Node at 23 degrees Scorpio (releasing the past). This energy continues into the Libra Full Moon of Apr 16. The Square aspect is motivation for change and finding new ways of doing things. The Universe always gives us what we need when we are open to its guidance.  The world is in desperate need of healing. Uranus at 12 degrees Taurus is the ruler of this Aquarius cluster (breaking free from the old and breaking through to what is of true value).

We are being offered an opportunity for that healing. Jupiter in Pisces (spiritual illumination) is trine (removal of obstacles creating ease and flow) along with Neptune in Pisces (connecting with the Oneness) the South Node in Scorpio (healing, release, and transformation). They are sextile (new opportunities) the North Node in Taurus (what is of true value). Neptune has been in this harmonious connection with the Nodes since the Virgo Full Moon of Sept 18 (healing into wholeness). April 12 Jupiter and Neptune will meet at 23 degrees Pisces beginning a new cycle of Spiritual Enlightenment for the next 13 years. This merging will still be very active at the Libra Full Moon of April 16 (balance, harmony, and peace).

When the Sun (circle of spirit) visits Aries (Mar 20 to April 19/20) in traditional astrology it is said to be in its “exaltation” (place of power). The Sun is currently very active with Solar Flares (wake up people, wake up). On March 29 astrologer Pam Younghans sent out a very insightful post about this activity. You can find it at northpointastrology.com. The Sun in Aries is asking us to shine our Divine Light out into the world for healing.  But first we must heal ourselves.

Our Animal Totem guides for the Aries New Moon are Falcon, clear inspired vision, and Red Tailed Hawk, spiritual messages. The astrological Earth is in Libra guided by Crow, Sacred Law and justice and fairness for all, and Raven, magic and The Mysteries. They are reversed for the Southern Hemisphere. For all of us at this Aries New Moon we are guided by Clan Mother Looks Far Woman. She is the Guardian of the crack in the universe and the Golden Door of Illumination. She is the manifester of dreams and teaches us to bring our visions into reality. She teaches us how to create a new pathway. So even though this Aries Lunation should be about inspired new beginnings it is actually the time for healing ancient wounds. And remember your Divine Self will never abandon you.
