I was sitting outside on my swing, enjoying the evening. It was peaceful feeling outside. There was a radio playing classic tunes a few yards over, and the fireflies were starting to come out. There was nothing remarkable about this evening vs any other. But suddenly I experienced a pocket of love – the most awesome wave of love energy that came over me that felt absolutely wonderful.

I wasn’t trying to meditate or do anything special. It just happened. And it lasted. The best way I can describe it is, it felt like the biggest flush of love you can have for someone, when you are completely heart-expanded and in awe of the emotion. But even those waves of love seem somewhat fleeting. This feeling stuck around. It felt more solid, more encompassing, more enveloping, than a wave. It was peaceful and reassuring, and you could just feel that everything is going to be alright. This was different than the energy of a being, or of anything else I’ve ever felt.

I thought, “Oh my God, this is what they’ve been talking about!” It lasted for about ten to fifteen minutes and then it gently ebbed away. Let me tell ya, if this is where we are going, it is going to be AWESOME. And all of this hard work we’ve been doing is going to be SO WORTH IT.

And the weird thing is, I don’t feel desperate to feel that feeling again. It is enough to know that it exists, that it was a taste of what’s to come, and I just felt soothed to know it is there and we have come to a place where we can start to feel it. And I know that if it can happen once, it can and will happen again.
