“The original energy of creation is still embedded in the earth,” the Grandmothers said, “so as you observe all the upheaval taking place on earth now, do not despair. The original template of creation is still locked into the earth where it sits waiting. Because it is covered by the many layers of human energy that have, over time, piled on top of it and because these human deposits have distorted the actual design of earth’s energy, a distorted pile is all you see. But take heart!” they said. “No matter what terrible things that man has done in the past; the perfected energy of creation is still there! And even though what man has input into the earth is not pure, the original imprint is pure. It is time to revive that.” Page 158, Casting the Net, by Sharon McErlane

The Grandmothers promise that the work they’ve called us to do will return both our energy and the earth’s to this original blueprint they speak of. They urge us to work with the Net of Light to clear away imbalances in ourselves and in the world. And this we do, as we simply and relentlessly work with the Net of Light. This job they’ve given us is a big one … and a do-able one. It has blessed our lives and the lives of those around us.

Several years ago, the Grandmothers said that the ancestral work they were giving us would contribute to clearing the build-up of distorted energy on earth. “As you work with the ancestors, layers of contracted energy that over time were superimposed upon the earth will crack off and evaporate,” they said then. We followed their guidance and now they are teaching us how to work with the elements that make up life on earth — earth, air, fire, water and ether. Also, how to work with the Elemental spirits themselves. “Working with nature like this,” they say, “will help clear the rest of life’s distortions. Keep on!” the Grandmothers encourage us, “for as this clearing takes place, the Net of Light’s grid will shine brighter. Its increased radiance will strengthen the earth’s grid as well as the earth itself.”

I listened as they spoke, and behind the Grandmothers, I saw our beautiful blue planet rotating in space. Slowly it spun on its axis and as I watched it turning, I noticed how the energy grids and ley lines on our planet were beginning to anchor themselves more deeply into the earth. They seemed to be more inset, more deeply moored. And as I continued to watch, I saw the change the Grandmothers are speaking of was already occurring. A deep anchoring of light is now taking place throughout the world. 

It is a big job the Grandmothers have given us. A magnificent and important job. And a joyful one.

Dear Sharon

It was a profound joy participating in the Earth Balance Response Team focusing on working with Ether. I am so grateful for these gatherings… They teach me so much, they give me so much… they make me feel the connectivity within the family of light.

And I was so glad you explicitly referred to the songs. Because for me these really are a source of inspiration, meditation and help during my day to day life. Especially when I go through difficult periods, I go outside to be with Nature and I sing the Grandmothers’ songs. This always helps me. Though this doesn’t mean that I don’t sing them in happy periods also.
