November 2025 Astrology: Taurus Full Moon & Scorpio New Moon

Hello friends of astrology,
November feels like shifting terrain beneath us. The winds of change are in the air — not sudden, but insistent.
We’re asked to walk forward on new ground, letting old stories fall away. This month’s astrology is not about spectacle but about pivot — from internal evolution into external embodiment.
From Mars in Sagittarius to Venus in Scorpio, from Mercury’s reflective retrograde to Saturn’s direct motion, Jupiter station retrograde, we traverse cycles of meaning, shedding, and reorientation. The Taurus Full Moon and Scorpio New Moon anchor this weaving: between comfort and transformation, between what we once stood for and what we are rising toward.
Mars in Sagittarius (Nov 4 onward): Driven by Vision
When Mars crosses into Sagittarius, it lifts us out of the subterranean intensity of Scorpio and calls us toward horizon. Here, drive is fueled not just by impulse, but by aspiration — by what feels worthy. Where Mars in Scorpio pushes us to excavate, Mars in Sagittarius asks us to expand.
Emotionally, this transit stirs courage: the urge to risk, to explore, and to act on vision. Yet there’s also the danger of zealotry or bluntness — pushing before the path is clear. The artistry of this time is moving with boldness and curiosity, being confident enough to act, humble enough to revise.
Taurus Full Moon (Nov 5, 13°): Revelation in the Roots
The Taurus super Full Moon arrives with a grounded clarity. Taurus speaks of stability, value, the body, and that which feels safe. But this lunation, touched by Uranus’s retrograde influence, may unsettle what we thought was solid. What in our lives feels dependable but in truth is brittle?
This moon asks: what does your soul truly need to feel secure? More than routines or possessions, security arises from integrity. In the light of this Full Moon, you may see where you’ve been clinging — to identity, to habit, to the illusion of control. The medicine lies in releasing attachments without losing your center.
Venus in Scorpio (Nov 6 – 30): Love’s Reckoning
Venus descending into Scorpio deepens the emotional tone of November. It doesn’t want prettiness or superficial harmony. It wants truth — raw, visceral, sometimes uncomfortable. Under this transit, love, desire, and values must confront their shadow.
You may find yourself drawn to what’s hidden, what’s taboo, what you’ve denied. Control, jealousy, surrender — all these themes get activated. Yet in facing them, we touch intimacy that is real, fierce, and transformative. The task: to meet love with vulnerability, not armor.
Mercury Retrograde (Nov 9 – 29): Re-writing Inner Maps
On November 9, Mercury begins its retrograde in Sagittarius, retracing into Scorpio by month’s end. This is a journey of revisiting beliefs, narratives, internal maps — the stories we live by. Sagittarius wants vision; during a retrograde, we interrogate whether our map still fits the ground.
We may find corners of our thinking rigid, dogmatic, or inherited without inspection. Conversations may circle back. When Mercury dips into Scorpio, the narrative becomes more intimate: you uncover why you believe what you do, and whether those beliefs still serve.
When Mercury re-emerges direct on November 29, the voice returns — renewed, deeper, aligned with inner truth.
Jupiter Retrograde
Jupiter stations retrograde on November 11th at 25 degrees of Cancer. Jupiter is very strong and asks us to faith, believe in our future even if the path to get there is unclear. Sometimes a leap of faith is what is needed to get in motion.
Uranus Retraces into Taurus: Freedom Reimagined
Over November, Uranus glides back into Taurus, reactivating deep collective themes of security, material evolution, and liberation within continuity. Uranus demands awakening; Taurus grounds it. Together, they question how we hold space for change in the very things we build: money, home, value systems.
This transit asks: can your foundations be flexible? Can your sense of safety persist even when structure shifts? Uranus in Taurus is less about breaking everything down and more about re-forming what is stable so that evolution becomes its own stable state.
Scorpio New Moon (Nov 20, 28°): The Alchemy of Letting Go
As the New Moon graces Scorpio, we arrive at the heart of November’s inner work. It’s a time of death and rebirth, releasing what binds, planting seeds of renewed essence. The new moon is opposite Uranus, the internal knowing that change is necessary emerges from the depths of your inner voice. Listen to what you know deep down is truth and move beyond whatever fear may be holding you back from making needed changes.
This lunation supports deep initiations: forgiveness, surrender, emotional integrity. The question is not what to add, but what to release. May your intentions rise from what is finally whole in you, not from what’s unresolved. In that purification, power regenerates.
Saturn Direct (Nov 27): The Weight of Wisdom
As Thanksgiving arrives in the U.S., Saturn stations direct. After months of internal restructuring, the time to make a plan for what is most important for you begins. Regrets are only useful in the lessons they provided. What is most essential becomes clear. Where restraint was painful, now it becomes purpose.
Emotionally, this is a time to step into your own accountability and integrity without overburdening yourself. Saturn after motion begins insists that maturity is both discipline and grace — building what endures from what is true.
Mercury Direct (Nov 29, in Scorpio): Truth Finds Voice
Two days after Saturn’s turning, Mercury stations direct in Scorpio. Now, clarity is not superficial — it is earned. The stories we’ve reevaluated, the truths we’ve unearthed, now align with how we speak and choose. Mercury and Venus are in trine with Saturn and Neptune all in water signs. Knowledge and insight from the depths of intuitive gut truths guide you forward.
Communication flows with sensitivity, depth, and authenticity. Intent becomes less about persuasion and more about resonance. In this final station of the month, you integrate mind and heart, insight and emotion.
November’s Essence: The Alchemy of Truth
In November 2025, transformation is not dramatic — it’s alchemical. Each major transit is not a spotlight, but a gentle burnishing of what’s already present. Mars invites action rooted in meaning, Venus demands love rooted in honesty, Mercury forces clarity in narrative, Uranus challenges our definitions of security, and Saturn invites maturity to step forward.
The emphasis of Taurus and Scorpio frame this as a journey from grounded revelation to emotional rebirth. The message: truth is not a weapon or burden — it is the catalyst of healing, integrity, and emergence. By month’s end, you’ll not just see more clearly — you’ll be more clearly: more aligned, more awake to purpose, more willing to let the old shape your rise, and more ready to step into what is real.
With love, light, and gratitude,
