8/30 ~ Mercury Enters LIBRA (until Nov 5th):
Mercury is at it again! It’s moved from processing in Virgo to restoring mental balance & equilibrium to your nervous system in Libra. The special thing about this go-round is that it will linger here, Retrograde on 9/26 and go Direct on 10/18 before completing its mission in that Area of Life (House) for you.

This extended stay in Libra is going to affect your Aries/Cancer & Capricorn Departments by default. If you change your thinking or want to make some new choices, in the area of Relationships, Partnerships & Collaborations, then it is natural to expect things to shift for you as an individual, as well as at home & work. This is a time to review your ideas, thoughts & concepts about socializing with others, interacting with others and how you would like to do that in a new & different way going forward. But first, you’ll have to look in the mirror to discover where your own imbalances around your concept of relationship are rooted. Any Mercury Retrograde is an upgrade to your Mental Body and since we get them 3-times a year, it is good to get into the practice of taking some time to review that Area of Life and see what’s been happening in the last 3-months specifically and where you want to be 3-months from now.

I am excited to offer a class for this that I hope to offer at each Mercury Retrograde in the new year but this will be our initiation. One of the things I think Mercury Retro is best for is communing with your Invisible Team and working behind the scenes on something that matters to you, in this case in your Libra House. So I’ve developed a 3-part class to honor both Shadow periods before & after and your Custom Mercury Activations will guide you through exactly what Mercury is touching in your own chart during the Retrograde, so that you can co-create consciously. There are also many other Tools included, plus we’ll Circle-Up on this and that always brings in additional magic & possibilities.

9/2 ~ Mars (actions & desires) ~oppose~ Neptune (faith & vision):
Mars rules your ability to act on your own behalf and Neptune is the planet of dreams, visions & spirituality (among other things). One is very personal & direct and the other is very general & elusive. When these two are opposite eachother, there is a push-pull between the actions you want to take and the actions you believe you are capable of taking. Often, this activation helps you balance faith and action, that is, if you can be clear about who you are, what you want and what you believe is possible, then the action steps present themselves organically. It can also activate irrational fears & unfounded doubts. Oppositions always require balance to be useful & effective, even though we usually have to go through the experience of extremes to figure that out. These are two very diverse energies that have to compromise in order to strike a balance that will facilitate flow. It may be hard to decide what you really want and communication with others tends to go awry with this one. This energy tends to obscure things right in front of you, but can also make very clear that the current consequences are related to your past choices. It is best to own your choices and/or mistakes and do whatever damage control you can at this point. The one thing this combination of energies is favorable for is working in solitude on a project that needs completion. This will give you the energy to go the distance, as well as the tenacity to overcome obstacles which delayed you previously. If you end up in this mode, do your work, put the final touches on everything, but then wait a week or two before sharing it with others.

9/4 ~ Mercury (your thinking) ~trine~ Saturn (structure & organization):
This energy is good for deep thinking. You are sharp and your standards are high because you are in ‘strategy mode’ with this one. It is a more solitary energy though, so communications with others may be hampered a bit because it is time for you to hold your own, at some new level. It’s time to focus on the details that hold the big dream together, all the little things that make the grand vision work. Some folks really respect that attention to detail while others may consider it nit-picky but it is what the energy supports at this time so don’t worry if others don’t understand. By the same token, you may also feel a little overwhelmed by the many “little things” that cannot be denied or delayed and thus a sense of urgency to get it all done. Beware of a tendency toward pessimism, depression or overwhelm. Try to stay focused on all the blessings that you do have and all that you have accomplished instead of what’s still on the list of things to do (in life). This energy is not intended to make you feel bad about all the things left yet to do, but encourage you to begin the necessary steps for manifesting your dreams. This energy just makes you focus on the practical side of manifesting. Clear the debris, and begin to lay a new, clean, solid foundation beneath your goals. Saturn gets you present to the necessary steps and Mercury helps you think clearly.
