5 Ways to Ensure a Better Sleep Quality and Sensual Dreams

The problem is serious as 1 in 3 adults in America are sleep deprived. That means a big part of the nation consists of people who can’t focus and be productive during the day, are unable to work effectively, and don’t get the rest they need.

Some of the negative consequences of sleep deprivation include:

  • You increase your chances of having accidents;
  • Memory issues;
  • Mood swings;
  • You might gain weight due to loss of sleep;
  • Bad memory;
  • Difficulty learning new things;
  • High blood pressure;
  • A weakened immune system;
  • Some sleep disorders like insomnia lead to depression;
  • You can’t concentrate easily;

It’s never too late to change your sleeping habits, start getting enough sleep and even have sensual dreams every night. Let’s see how:

  1. Fix your sleeping schedule.

To have the most enjoyable sleep you can imagine (and even turn sleeping into a fun activity, whether it’s your partner you’re dreaming about or someone else), you must go to bed and wake up at the same time.

A fixed sleeping schedule is the first step towards ensuring a better sleep quality.

Do that by waking up earlier the next few days but going to bed at the same time. Soon, your body will get used to the new schedule and it will become your norm.

After some time, you’ll get naturally tired each evening and will wake up without an alarm clock in the morning, feeling fresh and ready to start the day.

  1. Create a sensual sleeping environment.

The place you sleep in must be your sanctuary. That’s why eating in your bedroom or bringing your laptop to bed aren’t good ideas.

The bed must only be used for sex and sleep. In addition, you should pay attention to detail and make some changes around the bedroom.

Get a more comfortable mattress. These affect your sleep but also your health in surprising ways.

A better mattress can help you with back pain. Buying a new one has even been linked to lowering stress.

Getting blackout curtains is a good idea too as light interferes with good sleep, and you want to make sure you’re in the deep sleep cycle to have sensual dreams.

Silk sheets will make the environment even better.

In addition, keep your bedroom decluttered and clean.

  1. Let your imagination run wild.

Visualization is the technique of imagining something in details, feeling it as if it’s happening right now, and thus getting to your subconscious mind and truly believing it’s reality.

Doing that right before falling asleep, however, can lead to controlling the direction of your dreams.

If you want sensual dreams, you must imagine the scene you want to dream about, the person you want to invite to that dream, and even the foreplay.

There are no limits here and you’re the boss. Allow your imagination to run wild like never before and you’re guaranteed to have many interesting dreams that you’ll probably remember in the morning.

  1. Avoid caffeine in the second part of the day.

Did you know that caffeine remains in the body much longer than we expect and can lead to multiple sleeping problems?

Experts suggest drinking your last cup of coffee at 2 pm.

It reduces the amount of deep sleep you can get, keeps your mind activated and you stay awake in bed for hours before falling asleep.

Avoid it and keep in mind that other drinks like tea also contain caffeine.

  1. Learn how to lucid dream.

Do you want to be aware of dreaming? That’s called lucid dreaming and it allows you to be an active participant in your dream. You can experience literally anything and it can feel as real as it does in daily life. Imagine what this can do for your sex dreams…

To get started with lucid dreaming, keep a dream journal. Write down what you remember about your dream the moment you wake up. While you won’t have much information in the beginning, you’ll notice how you’re able to recall them with ease.

Give this phase some time. Meanwhile, take the decision to lucid dream before you fall asleep. Tell yourself you’re going to remember your dream and repeat that for as long as you can so it can reach your subconsciousness.

One trick that is proven to help with lucid dreaming is setting your alarm for an hour or so before you usually wake up. The point is to wake up during your deep sleep and immediately share in your journal all that you remember.

There’s a big chance to even continue the same dream and be able to experience it fully if you go back to sleep right away.

The same result can be achieved by setting random alarms during the night. If you know you can easily go back to sleep after waking up, test this theory and you will be able to continue at least one dream by actively participating in it. That will be your first lucid dreaming experience.

After it, you can use the feelings and details from it in order to encourage another one and another one.

These 5 ways should be enough to help you transform your sleep life, and even your sex life. Things like sleeping naked, reading and thinking about sex right before bed and exploring your imagination can help you feel more comfortable with your partner, be more open about your deepest desires, and more confident about yourself.

Getting an adequate amount of sleep and making sure you sleep deeply is crucial for anyone who wants to be successful in life, productive, focused and with a sharp mind.

Expect all these small changes and new habits to also make you happier, more positive and less stressed.
