Aries

Aries has been working hard. Damn hard. Perhaps to the point of exhaustion. Perhaps to the point of recognizing that some things that are no longer rewarding, may need to be let go in order to lead a more fulfilling life and lifestyle. If something is no longer sustainable, what do you need to do in order to restore the balance?

What do you need to adjust in order to maintain your mental and physical well-being? What needs to change? Saturn/Pluto in Capricorn has been marking the end of an era for many. But life goes on, and there will be something else to fill the vacuum that has been left behind. Jupiter now entering Capricorn aims to fill that space. It is time to redefine and rebuild your reputation. And to do so in ways that are more fulfilling and more sustainable. And lasting. The sign Capricorn always expects us to work for our rewards. But at least when Jupiter is in the picture it’s bound to be fulfilling, rewarding and appreciated. 

Taurus

The main thrust of Jupiter entering Capricorn, at least for Taurus, is to expand your knowledge and clarify your understanding. And it may not be in the ways that you necessarily expect that to be. Sometimes when we attach ourselves to conventional paths, as time-worn and reliable as they seem, we can get off our true path. You may indeed be on track, but Jupiter aims to make sure. And that means looking at things from other points of view, but it is also a reminder that truth is often found where we least expect it to be. One thing that can become evident when Jupiter is in Capricorn is that once your eyes are open to certain truths you will never quite see things the same again. It’s like finally realizing that the emperor has no clothes, despite what everyone else has led you to believe. Jupiter in Capricorn is asking all of us to get real. No more rose-colored glasses or propaganda. It’s about the whole truth and nothing but the truth. Amen.

Gemini

Many a Gemini has been learning things the hard way lately, through sheer survival tactics. Neither have you been able to fully depend on others to help out either. One thing that has become apparent is how and why you are needing to build up your credit and pay off your debts moving forward. In fact, what you have been learning about building up credit, marketing yourself, and managing finances will serve you well for years to come. And 2020 should already begin to bring you some rewards for your efforts. It won’t necessarily be easy. The rewards through Capricorn usually have to be earned. However, these are the sorts of rewards that have longevity and stability. Jupiter can also bring some sort of ending, perhaps to a phase of life. But usually the endings or changes that come when Jupiter is in Capricorn, at least for Gemini, are ultimately for the best, even though they may not appear to be so at first. Jupiter wants you to grow in some significant way, and if you’ve become at all stagnant, Jupiter will give you a bit of a nudge. 

Cancer

Jupiter not only benefits Capricorns when it enters their sign, it also benefits its opposite sign, Cancer. Cancer has a special relationship with Jupiter which is exalted when traveling in your sign, but there are still advantages to having it in your sign of partnership… especially these days. Having Saturn and Pluto traveling in Capricorn could have made it difficult to connect with others in a meaningful way. Either the people you depend on to be there for you are otherwise engaged, under burdens of their own that they are working out, or simply somewhere else when Saturn and Pluto are traveling here. Jupiter aims to improve relationships with others, heal old rifts, and attract mutually beneficial partnerships into your life. Jupiter can also benefit you in other ways over the year ahead. For instance, if you are in a business, Jupiter will attract good customers. If you are a performer, Jupiter will widen your audience. If you need to consult an expert, Jupiter is your guide. We could all use a little Jupiterian support these days!

Leo

Many a Leo has been burdening under the yoke this past year or so. If not work, then their health and well-being has been something of a concern. So it should come as something of a relief when Jupiter enters Capricorn this week. Jupiter brings promises of rewards, greater fulfillment, better pay or chances for advancement. Jupiter doesn’t fool around. And Jupiter in Capricorn is dead serious. So will you be. You’re looking to improve your prospects, and learn new skills. Getting the help you need to achieve your goals, and improving your life style and well-being are just a beginning. Opportunities for advancement will be out there. All you have to do is step up and show up, and be willing to put in the hard work that is required, and you’ll be set. It’s just the sort of break that you’ve been waiting for. 

Virgo

Can you recall what it means to feel joy? To just plain have fun and enjoy your life? For Virgo, work and being useful and helping others can be fun. But what would it mean for you to lay down the shovel or the briefcase, and take a day off? Even if that means ‘working’ in the garden? Because then at least, you get to smell the flowers, feel the sun on your face and eat the produce. What would it mean to welcome love and joy back into your life? It means reminding yourself of those things that you truly enjoy doing, that add a spark to your life, that make you feel whole again. It also reminds you of those people that share your love and enthusiasm for what brings you joy. With Jupiter entering the sign of Capricorn, it’s about finding healing, wholeness, and yes, even having a little fun by reinvesting in those people and things that bring you joy and happiness. It’s about finding yourself again in the larger scheme of things. It’s about restoring your zest for life. 

Libra

Jupiter’s entrance into Capricorn this week is putting the emphasis on your personal life, your roots, your support systems, your home. It’s about keeping it simple. It’s about mending bridges and building new ones. It’s about paying attention to the most fundamental areas of your life. It’s also about putting the final touches on the end of one phase of your life and beginning a whole new one. In some way some of these very core foundations of your life have been transformed. Some things that you had become accustomed to and assumed would always be there have moved on or have changed. It could even feel as if you are being given the opportunity to rebuild your life on the remnants of what remains. But this time around, you are being asked to do it the right way. In a way that will allow these foundations to truly support you in the way that you need to be supported, sustained and protected. Jupiter entering Capricorn for 2020 is reminding you that today is the first day of the rest of your life. Live it well.

Scorpio

These past five years have been very important for Scorpio in that you’ve been learning a lot about yourself, including what does or does not work for you. And you have been working on the foundation of a plan that has been evolving over time. Now you are adding some of the finishing touches. Next year, in some way, you are also being asked to really get to the core of your beliefs and motives. This requires a strong sense of who you are, and what you truly believe in, so that even in the face of extraordinary pressure, you will stand for what is right and true. And how can you use your power, resources, knowledge, skills and ideas in order to further a cause that could ultimately benefit everyone concerned? What you learn, and read, and hear over the year ahead could change your whole perspective. If you were to think about doing the right thing, what would that look like for you? What are those things, causes or principles that you wish to stand for? The fulfillment of a larger and more responsible vision is emerging. 

Sagittarius

For the past year, you’ve been expanding your horizons and exploring the vast possibilities that are available to you. But if you find yourself a little over-extended or a little achey from all the excitement and possibilities you may want to consider cutting back and getting down to the basics. It’s also about getting your priorities in order, and creating some sort of realistic and achievable plan for the future. When you get down to the reality of the situation, you begin to wonder why you’ve been blowing all of your money and time and energy on things that bring so few rewards. Or are not even being appreciated! It’s time to think in terms of what or who or where you want to invest your precious time, money and resources. And how you can also make that not only sustainable, but possibly even lucrative. Or at the very least rewarding! This coming year is a time to get your ducks all in a row, and create a plan for the future. The sort of realistic plan that you know you can depend on, for years to come. 

Capricorn

Although you may be wondering what that could possibly be at this point, Capricorn is going to start counting their blessings. It’s a miracle that you all have made it thus far with the deadly duo (Saturn and Pluto) revamping your lives. The clean up crew arrives this week. Jupiter is aiming to restore your hope and faith in the foreseeable future once again. Over the course of the year you are going to be revising your health, your self-identity, and your sense of purpose yet again! But this time you’re going to want to realign yourself with your core beliefs and aspirations. It’s about doing the right thing, and not compromising your principles. It’s about recognizing what is or is not practical and realistic and achievable. And sustainable. You’ve got your whole life ahead of you. Just make sure that you are the architect of the life that you are trying to build. And in order to do that you first need to know yourself. It is not about what you think is expected of you, but what is right for you. Your life is about to get that much bigger. 

Aquarius

What you learn when Jupiter is in Capricorn is extremely important for your sense of self and well being. Jupiter can literally heal all of your old wounds, all of your fears and trepidations, just by being in Capricorn. You probably won’t even have to do very much. What you are going to discover and find, are feelings of acceptance, forgiveness, and ultimately wholeness. Whereas it may have felt as if the past were catching up to you lately. Now you are going to begin to find the gifts that have been patiently waiting for you all along. There is something to be learned, honored and gained through recalling the past, and uncovering memories. 2020 is a transition year for Aquarius. Over the course of the year, Jupiter dares to break down any inner walls of limitation, or inhibitions, allowing you to break free in some remarkable way. One thing that Jupiter teaches you next year, is that freedom is truly a state of mind, and even those who appear to be free, create prisons of their own design. But once you see the truth, you will never see things quite the same again. 

Pisces

While in Sagittarius last year, Jupiter aimed to open up your opportunities, show you alternatives, and dare to increase your reputation in some way. Unfortunately it also led to many over-extending themselves and taking on more than they could handle. It could be disheartening at times. Nonetheless, there were opportunities here to dream big. But now that Jupiter is entering Capricorn everyone is being asked to get real. No more foolish risky ventures. No more leaping out into the unknown. Now it is time to acknowledge what you have accomplished, and ask yourself, practically and realistically, where do you want to go from here? 2020 is a year to create a realistic and achievable plan for the future. This may mean connecting with a larger group in order to receive greater recognition or reach a broader audience. In some way, you are being asked to connect with your hopes and aspirations for the future. You may find that these are shifting. Pay attention, for you may have to readjust your inner gps system in 2020 in order to accommodate.
