The key motivator for personal and collective action has just shifted from fun and dynamic open-hearted passion, to a more private and considerate approach. Service is at the core of Mars in Virgo which has a huge impact on relationships, in that practical help is likely to be more welcome than grand gestures!
Mars is our main drive to action, including our life force and sexual drive. With Mars in Leo, our heart was likely to rule, and encouraged us to take dynamic action in relationships such as: asking someone we liked on a date, reminding the people in our life that we love them, organizing a romantic adventure with our special other, expanding our circle of friends…
This may not feel quite so easy now, as are likely to analyze in minute detail all angles of a situation, to figure out if taking any kind of action is the most helpful thing to do. The tendency is towards dissecting relationships and evaluating if it’s what we want. Without compassion – including self-compassion, this process can be harsh and grueling. Time alone may be favored over time together, as we need space to mull things over.
Mars in this sign needs a useful project, so it’s the perfect time to do work on our inner and outer home, in preparation for Mars going into Libra…
Finally – don’t underestimate the hidden sensuality of Mars in Virgo, which richly blossoms when it feels safe, valued, respected and loved! MG
