Affecting February, March, April, and May 2021 - 
Having Reviewed and Renewed Our Commitments We Now Know What to Aspire To

Mercury is now going direct and will be in its shadow zone through March 13, after which it enters its next phase of moving through "unknown zones" where the themes of this retrograde will be played out in forward motion. So for the next 2+ weeks, expect some very productive intersections of past and future, giving us a chance to show how willing we are to let go of the past and embrace the future.

Themes related to the span between 12 and 27 Aquarius will continue to be prominent, with consequences set into motion as Jupiter transits most of that span between now and late April, and again between late August and early December. The recent retrograde gave us a look back on all things Aquarian, with even more important future developments indicated in 2022-2023 when Saturn transits part of this span.

This Mercury direct station falls at 12 Aquarius. It is said that the second third (decan) of any sign deals with the emotional, social, and cultural levels of life, and as this falls in the second decan of Aquarius, it has a sub-influence of Gemini with an additional Mercury influence. Because Mercury in Aquarius is ruled by Saturn, this retrograde was about adapting to a different view of how new discoveries relate to the big picture, taking a new look at the larger contribution we might make in our world.

Aspects in the Shadow Zone

Mercury will transit its “shadow” span, i.e., the span it’s been in since it went retrograde at 27 Aquarius, through March 13. Of course there will be residual echoes for the next 13 weeks as well. Mercury going direct will re-activate many of the aspects it's made over the past few weeks, which overall have been very favorable for getting reorganized and making things operate more efficiently.

As Mercury moves forward, it makes a continuous biseptile to Mars and conjunction with Jupiter through the first week of March, so expect opportunities to open which should help you confirm your new conditions of existence. The only other aspect it makes during its forward motion in the Shadow zone is a binovile with Uranus. Because of the positions of the outer planets, Mercury makes relatively few aspects while in this retrograde’s shadow zone.

The Moon and Sun at this Station

The Moon at the station is a First Quarter Moon, indicating a lot of building action during the next few weeks. We’ll all be seeing how to build structures which will serve us in achieving our purposes. This is about direct action, focusing the Light of the Sun in Pisces in diverse Gemini forms.

As the Moon is at 17 Gemini, we’ll all get a new look at how to transmute physical vitality into the power to build ideas. As Mercury rules the Moon, it intensifies the Air quality of this time. As the Moon conjuncts its own North Node, it clearly indicates a time when we will grow in our knowledge and ability to communicate.

The Sun indicates the Light is found by seeing the indestructible factors in our life and work, anticipating openings to come this Summer when Jupiter goes SRX at 3 Pisces. Be the Light of the Witness-conscience, and understand much without needing to do much more than bless the passages. Be the healer or Shaman, and allow the Light of actional federation to light up the coming weeks.

As the Moon is in close biseptile to the Sun, this obviously marks a turning point in any ways our charts are touched by this aspect. It is dynamic, non-rational, and opens many perspectives of future change. This is yet another “fork in the road of destiny” for all who have planets or points affected by this biseptile. The hot zones are around 1-5 Pisces, 23-27 Aries, 15-19 Gemini, 6-10 Leo, 27 Virgo-1 Libra, 18-22 Scorpio, and 10-14 Capricorn. If you have something in any of these zones, your destiny is on the move over the next few weeks!

Looking Back, Looking Ahead

So from here Mercury moves forward! We can now take what we reviewed, got a new understanding of, or found new information about that helped us remember and/or reevaluate some things and move forward with a larger view and contemplation of what has been and what will be, especially in the houses where we have Gemini and Virgo, since Mercury rules Gemini and Virgo.

As it was retrograde between 27 and 12 Aquarius, those house(s) in our charts have been the areas where our review, reflections, returns, reconsiderations, and/or rehearsals have taken place. I gave you some of the possible effects of Mercury in the houses in the article Here!

Since it is now direct, if there have been misunderstandings or delays these past 3 weeks, it's all moving forward from here! We can begin to get a lot more accomplished, after a period of slow downs, turnarounds, review, reflection, reworking, undoing, and re-planning. We’ve been offered a chance to rethink many things, and experienced new ways of seeing how our spiritual values link us to those who seek the highest, and now move forward into a new life knowing we’re traversing familiar ground before we leap into the future in March.

So things should start moving forward anew fairly quickly. Right now, it’s a good time to use the different information, views, and approaches we’ve been examining through the retrograde lens these past several weeks to find a new understanding of where we stand on the evolutionary ladder, looking up for examples, reaching to help others who seek a higher level, with a need to let go of some aspect of our past.

Now that we've done our rehearsals, reviews, revisions, and/or research on those inner and outer experiences showing us how to get out of our own way and allow Spirit to work through us, we can weave all we know into a different way to coordinate part of our life. Here we again face the future, knowing a different sense of Being and a new vision of a past that is no more. Though there may be a sense of not entirely knowing what direction you’re going, since we’re now free to fly in any direction we choose, remember the immortal words of George Harrison, “if you don’t know where you’re going, any road will get you there.”

From Here We Move On

Things related to Mercury will speed up considerably for the next three months, so flow with the new YOU you’re experiencing! Meditate on the symbol “People on stairs graduated upward,” since that’s the foundation for Mercury to move forward. As I gave you in part 1, this requires we see where our evolution is at, and what we aspire to.

We’re all finding ways of allow our Spirit to develop within a group situation dedicated to concretizing an ideal. What do you want, why do you want it, and are the people you’re with your actual spiritual Brothers and Sisters, or are they on a different level of the evolutionary ladder, or on a different ladder entirely? Be disciplined as you use the information and insights you’ve received in past weeks, since once Jupiter settles in, we’re all in for a great adventure!

When you get new information or insights, feel that new vision or information. How do you feel about that view or understanding? Once you know how and what you’re feeling, then make your decisions based in the simple fact of what is. So be thoughtful, open to communications, but be precise and if possible, see the humor in the situation. A lot of old complexes will be broken apart in coming weeks by our “will to wholeness,” and participate in the rebirth and get ready for a new “adventure in consciousness.” So gather your information, experience what you need to experience, and then make a decision to move everything forward one step. For the next few weeks, our “journey of a lifetime” is truly one step at a time.

On a final note, remember this entire year is bookended by the theme of 26 Libra, since Mercury went SD on that degree in late 2020, and will go SRX on that degree this September. That indicates the entire year is one of learning when to be yin and when to be yang, when to show heart and when to show knowledge. We’re learning a more adaptable approach to exercising power, and learning a more balanced way of relating to others, as well as life challenges. We’ve been learning a more refined way of interacting with others, and practicing a higher expression of our individuality, whether of mind or Spirit.
