Define the 4-Fold Spiritual Field and Our Path to Liberation

Today’s topic will take you some great places! The outer Quartet of Uranus, Neptune, Pluto and TransPluto symbolize the Spiritual “pulses” that lead us all through long wave transformations, whether individualization, collective awareness, or purification ordeals, all leading to Divine redemption. They are invisible, so they symbolize all that is invisible to our senses that lead us through circumstances educating us about what we can control, and what we cannot.

Each of these symbolize vaster tides of evolution, whether creative ideas and movements, larger connections between nations, races, and life systems, or the changes that destroy old ideas and eras, making the way open for newer creative ideas and movements. The Triad of Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto eternally create, preserve, and destroy, demonstrating the Three Divine Laws in our Solar System of Economy of Energy, Magnetic Attraction, and Synthesis.

TransPluto stands beyond these as a vaster field of influence, where all is redeemed after periods of darkness and death. I explain more about Her special status later in this article. For now, we’ll focus on the Triad of Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto.

Because their transformational process works its magic on absolute levels, it is impossible for us to ignore these larger forces of transformation in our lives. Because they move so slowly, they don't go away quickly, creating long wave lessons we all must deal with. And even after the transit, we are forever changed by their influence.

Because they work such long range effects, we are forced to take a different view of time, and what we can and cannot accomplish in any given moment given the larger circumstances. These forces are “the invisible hand” of constant transformation into our individuality, experiencing ourselves as one with “All-That-Is,” always willing to allow old parts of us to die so that our Higher Self, the Phoenix Firebird of eternal rebirth, may come forth.

Since they operate on Transpersonal levels, they teach us the fallacy of believing "we create our reality." If Saturn is the ego's "Ring Pass Not," these Transpersonal invisible forces representing the larger spiritual Field are outside of the limiting, binding force we humans live within. Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto teach us that ego does not control anything outside its own limitations.

The outer Triad represent vast systems which were already in place before we were born. They symbolize those great Beings and movements that set powerful forces into motion across decades and centuries. All of us are subject in our own way to much larger absolute collective forces in play, and from our earliest childhood we know we are caught in patterns not of our making. We are forced to learn how and when to adapt to our environment the best we’re able within our “Ring Pass Not” until we grow in the authorship of our spiritual Self, consciously riding the waves of eternal change into ever-greater awareness.

Each of the Invisibles stays in a sign for many years, with the cycles growing longer with each planet outward. When these planets make conjunctions and significant aspects with each other, the entire world is impacted during those times as well as for centuries after. For example, Neptune conjuncted Pluto in the late 19th century, and these two are still in the early part of their waxing phase.

Uranus conjuncted Pluto in the 1960s, and recently finished their waxing square, creating a phase shift in how these two transpersonal forces relate to each other. Uranus conjuncted Neptune in the 1990s, and are now in the crucial semisquare of their waxing phase. As you can see, both Uranus and Neptune are in a waxing, or opening, phase with Pluto, as well as each other.

Each of these long wave cycles now opening will last for centuries. The next Uranus conjunct Pluto will be in 2221-2222, and that’s the shortest of these cycles. As each of these planets shifts from one sign to the next, it brings the next “color/tone frequency” into the larger spiritual field as the natural evolution of a much larger process of expanding spiritual awareness of “All-That-Is.”

This larger evolving spiritual field has its own independent quality regardless of where Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto occupy or are transiting in our chart. Our natal Transpersonal planets show us the larger spiritual field when we were born; successive generations and sub-generations are each born in that evolving spiritual field, with each sign naturally giving way to the next.

As I mentioned earlier, I leave TransPluto in Her own realm, since Her orbit is about 660 years, a far vaster cycle and therefore vaster influence than any of the three we’re discussing. I believe She provides a much larger tapestry, and represents Divine Grace, and as such can have no negative or destructive manifestations. She presides over a vast collective redemptive process that is the next manifestation of our human understanding of “God.”

Because She is beyond even the three Laws, I believe all we can do to ground this greater part of the Spiritual Field is surrender to “Divine Mother” energy and bring forth as much compassion and forgiveness as possible in all our interactions. Mother wants no harm for any of Her children, and being outside the realm of Pluto (Shiva), TransPluto (Parvati) restores all things in the proper time of the season. Practically speaking, true forgiveness creates the space for Grace to manifest, and compassion links us to all sentient Beings across time, both in this world and greater ones.

Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto symbolize the Invisible Triad of Spirit that continually moves our personality “lights” symbolized by the 7 Sacred Planets. As I offered earlier, they symbolize the Divine Laws of Economy of Energy, Magnetic Attraction, and Synthesis. We can only master these energies of the larger spiritual field through the planetary energies of Saturn and Chiron who guard the boundaries of the visible and invisible.

Saturn teaches us self-discipline, maturity, and our responsibility to be our Highest Self in the world. Chiron is our mentor who “heals us into our Higher Self” through its mastery of many skills in many fields. Chiron shows us how to transmute the pain and suffering of our lesser wounds, as well as our Sacred Wound, into our connection with the suffering heart of humanity and our ability to be the Love we ARE even in our woundedness. Through Chiron we quest for healing all parts of our personality so we may express the loving Light we ARE. Saturn and Chiron teach us how to express our other (visible) planetary energies in the best ways possible.

As our spiritual understanding matures, we learn how to apply the 3 great Laws. We find the Transpersonal energies of Pluto show us how to be economical in our use of energy, and the seeds of life which might provide us a fantastic bounty. The Transpersonal energies of Neptune show us how to manage our magnetism so we move through attractions and releases with grace, fluidity, and compassion. The Transpersonal energies of Uranus help us discover our uniqueness by our ability to synthesize all our actions, thoughts, and feelings into a personality that is perfect for us, and all our skills, gifts, and experiences into forms of genius.

As we learn how to discipline our body, feelings, and mind, bringing each of these into its purest, most aware and unique expression, we find we are developing a personality that allows our Higher Self to see the Way clearly. As we continue to integrate our lower self and practice purification, non-separateness, and creative genius, we allow ourselves to become adequate vehicles for our greater Spiritual purpose, which will play out via the Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto in our charts, as well as how we respond to the ongoing forces symbolized by the transiting Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto.

All of this requires that we make our inner Saturn our friend, guide, and teacher. As we submit to Saturn’s power to understand all things, we gain wisdom by how we learn to shape our inner and outer environment through our choices. Saturn teaches us we are eternally free to choose how we experience and respond to the circumstances that matter. As we elevate and perfect our responses to both pleasurable and difficult experiences, we become the grounding agents for the Uranian, Neptunian, and Plutonian energies in situations, bringing forth the best we can based in our skills.

Opening to becoming a Saturn-structured vehicle for the spiritual energies of Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto allows us to navigate circumstances that once created fear and/or confusion. As we master how to bring forth various energies from the spiritual field in practical service to the greater Good, we find we have become part of “the corrective force of Nature Herself.” These topics and more are discussed in depth in Saturn: Spiritual Master, Spiritual Friend. The dance of Saturn with the outer planets helps us become masters of our destiny and find security in knowing we are living our Purpose for being on Earth. As we make our inner Saturn our friend, we shed our fears and become our greatest spiritual expression in our world.

As we learn not to take the larger transformational process personally, or fear the inevitable transformations of life, we lose our sense of “not knowing” and begin to ride the waves with greater ease and grace. As we consciously participate in our own eternal transformational process, we find our sense of separateness fading away and begin to experience that our dance is one with the dance of the cosmos as reflected in the dance of the planets, both in our charts and unto themselves. So while we may not “create” the larger reality, we do “co-create” the local spiritual manifestations in our field of activity. These transform situations and lives, leading to a different future for all.

This relates to one of the tests of being human. We are here to learn to be aware of and consciously cooperate with the larger patterns of transformation leading us to our special Destiny and purpose. As we consciously shape our responses to each life challenge, we find all parts of our personality cooperating to bring us to our unique path of Higher Awareness. Learning to be conscious in choosing our responses always involves experimenting with the Laws of Economy of Energy, Magnetic Attraction, and Synthesis in some form.

So that we may have the widest possible effectiveness and learn all we can in the years we have here on Earth, we have to go through all the possible situations we can so we have direct experiences helping us see what works for us and what doesn’t, and how these change as a function of time and our growth. In the process we find sometimes we are bridge builders, sometimes we are renovators, and sometimes we are seed carriers, whether giving or receiving.

In the process of becoming liberated from unconscious actions and reactions, we learn about economy, magnetism and synthesis. We learn through who and what we are attracted to and why, as well as when the magnetism just isn't right between us and a person, idea, or situation. We must understand good seeds from bad, and regenerative forces from degenerative forces. And we must learn how to combine and recombine so we know what works well and what doesn’t, and what fits together and what doesn’t.

The dance our personality does with our Higher Self and Soul shows us how to put it all together in a larger vision that allows us to remember we're forever free to explore the True, the Good, and the Beautiful. It’s all a grand experiment in us learning how to navigate the Spiritual Field and become its expression in the world in our unique way. We are Love, Wisdom, and Intelligence. These things are what Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto reveal to us if we open our eyes to their invisible blessings.
