This weekend, the cosmic weather blows in two directions, and we’re pulled between the sociable vibe of the Gemini Moon and Venus in Leo on the one hand, and the more independence-oriented square that’s building between the Sun and Uranus on the other.
Venus moves into Leo later on Saturday night in the Americas, early Sunday morning in Europe. Taking off her Cancerian apron and putting on her Leonine party dress, the goddess of love will encourage a more outgoing, dramatic, and maybe even romantic tone for our socializing over the next few weeks.
The Sun’s square to Uranus could be the real fly in the ointment when it comes to our social lives and personal relationships. The Sun in Leo wants to do what it wants to do, and Uranus is more or less encouraging in this quest of independence. It’s a riff on some of the similar qualities of Leo and Aquarius.
In fact, the caveat is that there’s potential for irritation and reaction if we feel that we’re being limited or fenced in. It’s an “I wanna do what I wanna do and get out of my way!” sort of energy.
Break out of regular patterns. Try something new. If you can get others to go along with you, that’s great, but be aware that you might the best company may be “me, myself, and I”, at least part of the time. In fact, that’s a good strategy for this weekend - alternate between “me” time and socializing.
