Beloved astro-family,

This week the stars want you to focus on you. Not on past you or future you, but on you wherever you are, the current you and perhaps what it takes to become even more you.

First, Uranus turned Retrograde today. I wrote about this on the blog, explaining that it’s our chance to upgrade our personal Revolution protocol — because we can hardly bring more Justice and Beauty into this world if we keep pouring and pouring until we’re dry.

Not only that, but tomorrow, Sunday 16, the Sun in Leo trines Mars in Aries, joined by Mercury on Monday, August 17, when the Moon also enters the same sign. Mars is in its pre-retrograde shadow already, but this doesn’t mean momentum is non-existent right now. Express yourself through words and actions and carve a new path.

On Tuesday, August 18, the sextile between Venus in Cancer and Uranus in Taurus becomes exact. Revolutionize something — a habit, a belief, a thought pattern — as an act of self-care. Tap into your inner knowing and assess what you need to change in order to feel safer in your body.

On Wednesday, August 19, we have a New Moon in Leo, conjoining Mercury, trining Mars and forming a quincunx to Saturn. I see this as a moment for invoking the fearless, boldest Self and acting, creating and manifesting from that very place. On Thursday, August 20, Mercury enters Virgo, urging us to be more critical, discerning and unambiguous in the way we formulate and articulate our thoughts. The Moon also enters Virgo on the same day.

On Friday, August 21, the Virgo Moon trines Saturn while squaring the Nodal Axis — a brief, fleeing crossroads moment, but one that we can take advantage of to build long-lasting structures to support our future.

The card for the upcoming week is the 8 of Wands.

This card seems to keep with the theme of last week’s card, the Son of Wands. What was moving slow back then can gain momentum all of a sudden. If you’ve been taking baby step towards a desired destination, now you can run.

This card does also reflect the amount of behind-the-scenes work happening in my world at the moment. In fact, the next installment of this newsletter might very well contain a BIG announcement, so wait for it!
