The next two weeks (and 3+ months) shows a time of high friction due to the mutable T-square involving the Lunation squared by Mars! This will break up a lot of things wherever we have mid-Gemini as prelude to reintegrating the pieces in a new order. The Wisdom Teaching for this year is going to shut many things down, so be enthusiastic as you dance with Life and embrace the possibilities!

This month is an interesting mix of very difficult aspects as well as specializing and non-rational series aspects. Because of Mercury, our planets in Taurus, Cancer, Virgo, Scorpio, Capricorn, and Pisces will all be favorably impacted. The friction and release vectors come via the Lunation square Mars, semisquare and sesquisquare Saturn, and Venus sesquisquare Jupiter and Pluto, Add Jupiter conjunct Pluto with both biseptile Uranus, and we have hit another fork in the road of destiny!

The Eclipse Factor

This Lunar Eclipse is the first one with the Nodes in Gemini and Sagittarius, and so we begin to shut down various parts of our lives related to those signs. This one will bring tremendous friction, but also integrative possibilities, wherever we have mid-Virgo in our charts. Accept your power!

We also have a Solar Eclipse coming on the June Solstice, marking a turning point for everyone. The coming Solar Eclipse marks a change of allegiance for many, with hard adjustments and sacrifices for all. It seems the next few years is a “reunion of fighting spirits” and a new personal and social order in our lives. Expect a lot of loss clearing out space so new life substance can come forth.

Last Summer’s Solar Eclipse, as well as the Christmas Solar Eclipse and the January Lunar Eclipse, have begun and continue to take away everything which would block our ability to accept a “mantle of power” so that our Light can take shape as a new form of Truth, freedom, compassion, and obedience to Dharma. We’re always “under the beams” of recent Eclipses, as well as older ones. These “Cosmic Recyclers” are always helping us eliminate what we no longer need to deal with related to the sign and house they fell in.

Up to now, we’ve been shutting something down we no longer need in life areas symbolized by Cancer and Capricorn. The Nodes are the keys to understand how we’re accepting and growing, and what we’re demonstrating or letting go of. The Total Solar Eclipse of July 2019 at 11 Cancer has already begun to strip away all which would inhibit our sense of humor or irony. It’s also exposing others’ “ego pomposity” and resumptions, giving them a chance to take a breath and not take themselves so seriously.

Along with the Christmas 2019 Solar Eclipse at 5 Capricorn, we’re also still experiencing past Solar Eclipse “cosmic recycling” wherever we have 16 Capricorn, 21 Cancer and 19 Leo, due to Eclipses on these degrees. The endings of 2018 and 2019 helped us get organized, exploring what success really means to us, and letting go of old “social rigidities” to be happier.

All these Solar Eclipses, along with others, have allowed us to “shed skins” wherever we have 9, 19, and 30 Pisces, 28 Aquarius, along with 29 Leo, 10 Virgo, and 21 Virgo. As you can see, that involves a large part of our charts! I gave you all the Solar Eclipse links in the first article on the Christmas Solar Eclipse, specifying which are done and which are still in play.

A good meditation would be to take a look back at how something related to that axis in your chart has left and been replaced with something new. All our losses associated with these signs have left voids which will attract life contents more appropriate to who we are now. Alternately, you may be feeling a void because someone else really isn’t there. Now it’s time to turn to what will nourish you.

Evolutionary Configurations

We have several important evolutionary configurations this month! The first two involve the Lunation, involving the dynamic Mutable T-square already mentioned, along with Saturn cutting the opposition into a semisquare and sesquisquare, creating a “cutting, grinding, and polishing” energy throwing a powerful void into early Leo. This is the “Rhombus Diamond” configuration I have spoken of in other articles. Add Mars semisquare Saturn and it’s easy to see there is going to be a lot of friction, since these Octile configurations involve the Moon, Sun, Mars and Saturn all at odds with each other. This will be extremely frictional to planets we have in early Fixed signs and mid-Mutable signs.

The other major configuration involves Mars septile Jupiter, Uranus, and Pluto. That means Mars is activating a third point in the Grand Irrationality discussed earlier in this series. This Eclipse puts us all at major forks in the road of destiny involving late Capricorn, mid-Pisces, and early Taurus, and the rulers of planets and houses where we have Aries, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius, and Pisces.

Major Aspects

Besides the various aspects I gave you related to the evolutionary configurations mentioned upstream, forming (or partile separating) inner planet aspects include Moon novile Jupiter and Pluto, and biquintile Uranus; Mercury is quindecile the Sun, trine Mars, Pentelftile Jupiter and Pluto, sextile Saturn, and tredecile Neptune; Venus is sesquisquare Jupiter and Pluto, quadrelftile Saturn, elftile Uranus, and binovile Neptune; and the Sun is decile Uranus and square Neptune.

Outer planet forming and partile separating aspects include Mars septile Jupiter and Pluto, septile Uranus, and conjunct Neptune. Jupiter is sextile Neptune and conjunct Pluto; Saturn is Trielftile Uranus and septile Neptune, and as noted Uranus is biseptile Pluto.

We have more a LOT of specializing and spiritual aspects in play this Full Moon. Of the series related to destiny and “fate,” we have 4 septiles, and 2 biseptiles, which is extraordinarily powerful. In the 9th and 11th harmonic series related to spiritual realizations, we have 2 noviles and 1 binovile, and 1 elftile, 1 trielftile, 1 quadrelftile, and 2 pentelftiles. This month the specializing aspects feature 1 quindecile, 1 decile, 1 tredecile, and 1 biquintile.

For those new to the craft, quintiles and biquintiles are 5th harmonic aspects, septiles and triseptiles are 7th harmonic aspects, noviles are 9th harmonic aspects, deciles (semi-quintiles) and tredeciles are 10th harmonic aspects, the elftile series are 11th harmonic aspects, the quindecile is a 15th harmonic aspect, and the vigintile is a 20th harmonic aspect. Each of these has a unique function in the phase relationship of the two planets in aspect.

The 5th, 10th, 15th, and 20th harmonic aspects are specializing and bring forth partially or fully developed quintessential elements of the planets involved. The 7th harmonic aspects help us make choices to fulfill our destiny, and the novile series aspects (9th harmonic) represent entry or exit points of periods of gestation which can bring forth possible spiritual developments. The 11th harmonic aspects involve situations where there is a need to transcend and master some form of duality by making a leap of faith.

The various aspects in all these different harmonic series indicate points where the theme of the Whole Cycle becomes clear, whether through major developments or minor refinements in the process. Each aspect shows a phase relationship, specific to the special and unique circumstances of that particular Whole Cycle. It's how we can know when to work, when to play, when to create, when to imagine, when to have faith, and when to mobilize!

Element Balance

This Eclipse continues our extremely imbalanced element distribution. Of the traditional 10 planets, there is 1 planet in Fire signs, 3 in Water, 3 in Earth, and 3 in Air. This brings us into a perfect balance of Earth (Practicality and Grounding), Air (Relatedness and Communications) and Water (Feelings and Experiencing Life on Deep Levels), with only the Moon providing Fire (Inspiration and Light). As the Moon in Sagittarius is the ultimate “good sport,” embrace the adventure with enthusiasm and a sense of humor, since “something’s lost and something’s gained in living every day….”

With the Sun in Air and the Moon in Fire, those elements are the primary focus of the Lunation. Air and Earth are “cool” elements, while Fire and Water are “hot” elements. With this distribution, we have a fairly cool time ahead. The Air and Earth elements are the strongest, but Watery Mars and Mercury (ruling the Sun and Venus) show us the shape of things to come in the near future when Water will dominate July!

The current sequence at present of Deciding, Feeling, and Thinking

We’ve been through several different sequences over the past few months. There are six patterns, and each has their strengths and weaknesses. This Lunation generates a new pattern. As a process of moving through events, the most effective “firing sequence” for approaching life and experience involves leading with our feelings, then deciding, then thinking.

This pattern leads with feelings, and then makes decisions and acts based in those feelings. While it is tempting to move back into more feeling after the actions, after we make our decisions and/or act, it will be important to get new information to come to a new vision or understanding. Once we get the right view or understanding, then a new feeling-experience will naturally arise that points the way to the next action.

So when you are moved by a feeling or experience, it will naturally lead to decisions on the basis of those feeling experiences, which should be followed by a search for new information, new ideas, new interpretations, and new views. We’ll be “feeling our way” into new experiences, then deciding and acting on the basis of those feelings. After a decision or action, then we’ll have to find newer, more up to date information, facts, and understanding so we can get a new vision.

So learn and teach through anecdotes, seeing how others handled things practically, or how you handed things practically in the past. Let your thinking and communicating and envisioning follow your actions, and let your feelings follow a new understanding, a new perception, or a new view.

Saturn: Spiritual Master, Spiritual Friend

Because Saturn is in its home sign of Aquarius, it is the final dispositor of all planets transiting Capricorn and Aquarius from now through 2023. That makes it a dominant force through April 2022. And because Jupiter is in Capricorn, Saturn again dominates the planetary stage as the final dispositor for all the other planets. This influence will last for the next few weeks until Mars enters Aries in late June.

Remember that while Saturn can feel heavy, it is also our ability to take command of our lives and destiny by using Saturn’s virtues in the right way and time. Our ability to steer our “ship of personality” into its rightful “current of destiny” is in front of us, based in how we have prepared for our “role of destiny” heading at us like an express train! In 2019 we rehearsed and perfected roles and skills we’ll need in 2020 and beyond as part of the Saturn-Uranus “dance of individualization” in our lives. We’ve begun to crystallize present and future rewards, as well as new group work and roles opening new chapters in our “hero’s journey” into our new quality of Being awakened by Uranus.

Summing it Up

This Full Moon marks the beginning of the distribution of the Wesak Wisdom teaching for the world! Since mid-January we’ve ended many long cycles and begun new ones which show the structure of “a new quality of Being rendering the old pattern obsolete.” We’ve already launched into forms of transfiguration and are “graduating into a new realm of Being.” We’re in a long wave metamorphosis, and are finding ourselves exactly where we need to be at the beginning of the end of the Age of Pisces, entering into 35 years of increasing manifestations of the Age of Aquarius.

What do you care for? What do you care about? Remember you are part of the One Life we all are together. This is a time to allow what needs to fracture to do so, in order to recombine the pieces in a new integrated form. Confront your locked up power, and open the cage and make friends with that primal part of you.

We’ll be finding a cause we believe in, while at the same time experiencing a Cosmic Moment of “pause, which presages change.” The friction of swirling energies will be intense, and create stress across multiple areas of our charts. We are on a journey this year of “cleaning out the closets of the mind” and examining many parts of our lives we have not looked at in a long time.

We went through a period of transfiguration in 2018 and 2019 where we have Scorpio in our lives which is being given form by the Moon of the previous Wesak Full Moon wisdom energy. We are still collectively dancing into a greater awareness of our part to play in the new era, while currently dealing with a “cosmic visitation” which has begun to “galvanize us to action, liberating us from adverse conditions.”

With Venus, Jupiter, and Saturn all retrograde and Mercury slowing to go retrograde soon, it continues to be a great time to go within, to communicate with ourselves and our Highest Self. The compression of the first 3 months of the year set up the open conflict coming later this year which will last through 2022. Remember this entire year is one of transition from a 200 year Earth Era toward a 200 year Air Era which launches in December 2020 at the Grand Mutation!

The multiple conjunctions in Capricorn between mid-January through late March brought tremendous fusions of future cycles and alter both inner and outer space for years to come. These Capricorn conjunctions involved many house rulers converging wherever we have late Capricorn in our charts. Now that we’ve hit June, we begin a time of adjustments, sacrifices, and preparation for the conflicts to come.

We are all in process of “graduation into a new realm of Being” as we move through the final season of humanity’s “liberating ordeal.” All of us have had opportunities to find new inner strengths and powers the past two years, and have the ability to find assistance from Devas and Angels who bring “divine help when human efforts seem to fail.” Again, learn the power of forgiveness to create space for Grace to enter your Life. When new adventures beckon, embrace them with warmth, since you might find Spiritual Brothers and Sisters from past lives along the way!

This Eclipse will remove many old ideas and aspirations, as well as challenge the confusion currently dominating the atmosphere. While there’s tremendous friction, it’s also a time to show enthusiasm in releasing the old and embracing the new. Nothing will be settled any time soon, so play it for the long haul. This is the end of a long phase of old rhetoric, and those who have critical thinking skills will win the day!

Having blended the old with the new, the traditional with the innovative, we now can live an adventure in higher awareness where we can demonstrate expertise in fulfilling Dharma, or our purpose for being alive. We are living a new identity, a new love, a new spiritual awareness, and a new spiritual expression in grounded ways, so keep your mind and heart open and keep coordinating your body, feelings, and mind to demonstrate a stable and harmonized Soul energy.

A Meditation on Light and Shadow

Because life seems to be a never-ending experience of out-breathing elements of the past and in-breathing elements of the new, it is useful to remember that when we are moving through major changes, and something new is introduced into our lives, it means that something else must leave, or has already left, to provide space for the new to be embraced. And lesser wisdom must give way to greater wisdom, and old forms give way to newer realities.

While sometimes having to say goodbye to older, lesser ways of life can be a drag, it is important to remember that even though life can occasionally be painful, we do not have to suffer. And as we learn to break the link between pain and suffering, we heal our part of humanity and the world.

We are Light. All things are composed of Light in various frequencies that express as limitless forms. Some light frequencies are of greater density than others.

All shadows result from light hitting a dense object. Psychological shadows too. Therefore, it’s good to become as translucent and translucid as possible to dispel lurking shadows.

If you must look at and/or deal with shadows, whether your own or another’s, then refocus your Light on the object being illuminated, since that form is the source of the shadow.

Find the correct 4 angles of illuminating whatever you want to focus on, and all shadows will be dispelled. Then you’re seeing things with an illuminated mind, and can act accordingly.
