October 2025 Tarotscope: Essential Guidance for Every Zodiac Sign

October Tarotscopes
October is a month of thresholds—when the air sharpens, leaves turn, and the world seems to straddle the line between memory and possibility.
It’s a time for reconsidering your path, letting go of what no longer suits you, and opening up to the kind of change that feels both thrilling and uncertain. The energy this month is unmistakably transitional, and the cards drawn for each sign reflect that in ways both gentle and unmistakable.
Whether you’re ready for transformation or still clutching the last threads of summer, the October tarotscopes offer guidance, comfort, and a nudge in the right direction. Read for your sun sign and, if you know it, your rising sign for the fullest picture.
Aries (The Tower):
Change is rarely gentle, and this month might bring a shakeup you didn’t see coming. The Tower doesn’t mince words; it tears down illusions, outdated plans, and structures that can’t hold your truth anymore. While the process can feel chaotic—like you’re losing control or watching something important fall apart—there’s a strange kind of freedom in it too. Ask yourself: What have you outgrown? What were you clinging to out of habit, not love? Let what needs to end, end. The emptiness that follows will soon fill with something realer and stronger than before.
Taurus (The Hierophant):
For you, October is about tradition and belonging. The Hierophant asks: Which rituals ground you? Which beliefs have you inherited, and which do you want to keep? This is a month to question your routines, to seek wisdom from mentors or elders, or even to serve as a guide to someone else. Don’t be afraid to update the “rules” you live by—tradition is only powerful when it’s meaningful to you. If you’ve felt lost, lean into the communities and practices that make you feel centered.
Gemini (The Lovers):
Love, yes, but more than that—choice. The Lovers card highlights decisions that matter, crossroads where you can’t have it both ways. Something in your life is asking for a wholehearted commitment, whether that’s a relationship, a project, or even a new version of yourself. The key is to choose with intention, not because you’re pressured or afraid. If your heart’s in it, say yes. If you’re split between options, remember that clarity sometimes comes after the leap, not before.
Cancer (Nine of Swords):
This month asks you to face what’s been gnawing at you from the shadows. Anxiety, regret, or self-doubt may have crept in, making it hard to rest. The Nine of Swords is about wrestling with your own mind, but it’s also a reminder: you don’t have to do it alone. Reach out to someone you trust. Put your fears on paper. Sometimes, the act of naming what scares you is enough to take away its power. October offers you a path toward healing, but only if you’re honest about what hurts.
Leo (The Sun):
October brings a burst of light just when you need it. The Sun card is pure radiance—joy, clarity, and a renewed sense of possibility. After months of hard work or uncertainty, you’re stepping into a period where things just work. Let yourself be seen. Say yes to invitations, creative projects, and moments that make you feel alive. Your confidence is contagious, so don’t be shy about sharing your good fortune with others. If there’s something you’ve been hoping for, this is the month to go for it.
Virgo (Eight of Pentacles):
You’re in your zone this month, Virgo—focused, diligent, and ready to get things done. The Eight of Pentacles rewards hard work and skill-building, but it also asks you to take pride in the process. Progress might feel slow, but each step is putting you closer to mastery. If you’re feeling stuck, try learning something new or refining a skill you’ve let slide. This is a great month for professional development, creative practice, or finally finishing that long-term project.
Libra (Justice):
October is your season, Libra, and the Justice card amplifies your natural gifts. You’re called to seek balance—not just in your relationships, but in your own mind. If you’ve been avoiding a difficult conversation or skirting around the truth, now’s the time to address it head-on. Justice is about fairness, integrity, and making choices you can stand behind. Don’t be afraid to set boundaries or ask for what you deserve. You’ll feel more at peace once you’ve brought things into the open.
Scorpio (Death):
Before you freak out, remember: Death in tarot is about transformation, not literal endings. You’re entering a period of deep change. Maybe you’re letting go of old habits, a job, or even a relationship that’s run its course. It might feel scary at first, but this card promises renewal on the other side. What are you ready to release? What’s waiting to be reborn in your life? Trust the process. You’re more resilient than you think.
Sagittarius (Knight of Wands):
Adventure is calling, and you’re ready to answer. The Knight of Wands is all about bold moves, passionate pursuits, and the thrill of a new journey. Whether you’re itching to travel, start a project, or just shake up your routine, October gives you the green light. Just be mindful of acting before you’ve thought things through. There’s a difference between bravery and recklessness. Channel your energy into something that excites you, and don’t be afraid to take the first step.
Capricorn (Four of Swords):
Rest is not a luxury; it’s a necessity. The Four of Swords asks you to slow down, regroup, and give yourself permission to recover. If you’ve been burning the candle at both ends, October is your invitation to pause. Take a weekend off, meditate, or just get more sleep. You’ll find that clarity and inspiration return when you’re not running on fumes. Sometimes the most productive thing you can do is nothing at all.
Aquarius (Page of Cups):
This month brings fresh feelings and unexpected opportunities. The Page of Cups urges you to stay open to surprises—an invitation, a new friendship, or even a creative spark. Let yourself be a beginner and approach life with curiosity. If you’ve been too logical lately, October is about following your instincts and letting your heart lead the way. Don’t dismiss a wild idea just because it seems impractical; sometimes, magic lives outside your comfort zone.
Pisces (The Moon):
Not everything is clear right now, and that’s okay. The Moon is a card of mystery, intuition, and dreams. If you’re feeling uncertain or overwhelmed, allow yourself to sit with the unknown for a while. Your subconscious is working overtime, sending you messages in dreams, gut feelings, or strange coincidences. Trust those instincts, even if they don’t make logical sense yet. The answers you seek are rising—give them time to reach the surface.
October’s tarot cards ask us to embrace change, seek clarity, and trust our deepest instincts. Whatever this month brings, remember: you have more wisdom (and magic) within you than you realize.

What Is Tarot Astrology? Open or Close

Tarot astrology is the system through which a reading of the cards in a tarot deck help you through troubled times by offering a reflection on your past, present and future. Tarot is closely associated with astrology as each card relates to a planet, element, or astrological sign.
Tarot cards are used for divination, often known as fortune telling. But, many psychologists have used them as well, feeling that the cards often make patients delve in to how they feel about themselves. This is done through the subconscious. For example, let’s say you know work is not going well, but you do not allow yourself to think about it. Getting a tarot card reading that shows you need to change occupations is not really telling your future so much as it is making you face what is really going on in your life.

The Tarot (pronounced tair-row) is a combination of teachings that reflect the aspects of life, a symbolic "book of life" in the form of pictures that can be read or meditated on from "cover to cover". It can also be opened randomly for insights to issues. As a source of information, it is actually a channel by which pictures bring the situation to light and explain what caused it to occur. Those same pictures depict how the situation is being played out as well as the predicted outcome when placed in "spreads" of various patterns. That outcome will be in accordance to the choices that have currently been made by the client as well as outside influences which they have little or no control over. The Querrent (person asking the question), needs to be informed of this so they understand that they have free will and can apply it if they so choose. The Tarot is informative, enlightening, and it's accurate.

When I began reading the Tarot Decks back in 1973, I used the traditional readings. Later on, I studied Carl Jung and his analysis of using Tarot for the study of emotional and mental problems. The many students in my area were using the Major Arcana of Tarot Cards to do the analysis. After many years, I have finally discovered a mannerism to use the entire Tarot Deck for the ‘Healing Intuitive Reading’. In this reading, we examine five planes of health in a being. The heart and blood, the liver, pancreas, adrenals and kidneys, thymus, immune system and finally, the brain, are examined.
