Understanding Spiritual Abilities and the Psychic Process

The remarkable thing about spiritual abilities is that they function naturally, they are an inherent part of our human experience. We might have a gut feeling or a prophetic dream, benefit from it, and yet be unable to explain how it actually happened.

While this may be perfectly acceptable for someone not interested in consciously engaging with the spiritual realm, it is essential for a spiritual practitioner to understand how the psychic process works within them.

This means that every intuitive should dedicate a portion of their time to spiritual study. While this may seem obvious, our culture still produces many prominent mystics who are unable to clearly explain to their students or clients exactly how the spiritual world operates or what spiritual beings actually are.

In most professions, such a lack of clarity and blind dependency would be considered unacceptable, yet because mysticism is so mysterious this absence of objective knowledge is accepted. This ultimately creates problems as people unknowingly engage with dark entities and spread inverted and bizarre material across the internet.

Many people hear this critique and immediately respond that 'spirituality is subjective'. This is also a myth. Although our experiences of the spiritual world are subjective, the spiritual world itself and the various beings that inhabit it are not. The laws, beings, and realities of that realm are as concrete and objective as those of the physical world.

They also influence our consciousness in profound ways. By definition spiritual practitioners depend on this world for their work. This means that those sincerely walking a path of spiritual development (especially those who intend to serve others with their gifts) work to establish an objective understanding of the spiritual planes they are engaging with.
