As our soul, we are neither masculine or feminine. If we were to use a term to describe the soul’s essence, it would be androgynous. As the human, we express ourselves in many ways. Generally as men or women, we don’t stray too far from our assigned gender. But what is happening, over time is we are discovering that we have many aspects of ourself that want to express.
It’s interesting to see how more and more people are coming out, and are allowing themselves to be gay, for example, or bisexual, perhaps gender fluid, or transsexual. It’s wonderful to have so many forms of being, and no reason to limit those forms.
I find gender fluid the most interesting, because it can change from day-to-day, or minute to minute, depending on the person, and how they want to express themselves. It opens up a whole new world of possibilities.
The more a society allows that kind of free-flowing expression, the healthier it is for everyone.
But of course we know that there are those who are in enormous fear of anything that strays from the norms. And those who wish to express their choices are persecuted for it.
The masculine and feminine were never meant to be two distinctive and separate genders. Spirit’s ability to express itself is creative and endless.
While the gender of a person doesn’t define them, it is a way, while on the Earth, to express various elements of their personhood.
For example, a man may at times feel more feminine, and may want to express that aspect not just in words, or feelings, but in the way he dresses. Maybe he would love to paint his fingernails a bright red, or wear a skirt.
For women it’s much easier to move into looking more masculine. She is generally not ridiculed for wearing trousers, a tie, or a fedora. And we know it’s because in our culture, in this world, the feminine is considered less than the masculine. So a female identifying as a male is a step up for her, but a male identifying as female, decidedly several steps down.
But, in spite of the discrimination toward men being more feminine, in most men’s hearts, they would love to be able to express their feminine side. Maybe not consciously, but they know that on a deep level, the are in their own prison.
While both men and women have suppressed their sensuality, in general men have closed it off. Sensuality is not the same as sexuality. In fact, sensuality has nothing to do with sexuality. And sensuality is not gender limited. All genders can enjoy being sensual.
Women are more sensually oriented. They appreciate their overall sense of their body, rather than a focus on just one area.
Gradually, through the ascension process, the balanced masculine and feminine come together and a person’s expression of who they are takes on many beautiful, balanced and subtle nuances. Ultimately, Spirit doesn’t need to define itself as any particular gender. Spirit just enjoys being.
MY EXPERIENCE
My experience with my ascension, my Embodied enlightenment has been illuminating. I never realized how sensual life can be on this planet. And I have been discovering that there are more than the 5 senses. Much more. There are multidimensional senses.
When we connect with our soul, over time, we get to enjoy things through the fingertips of spirit. It’s not an intellectual experience. It’s visceral and ethereal at the same time. The senses expand outward, and encompass a wide range of joyful feelings and tactile pleasures.
In those fertile moments, we are not just the human, we are both the human and spirit doing an incredible tango together.
And, it can take place as we are just taking a walk, or sitting quietly. There is no need to arrange our environment. It’s just us, both human and soul, drinking in this time and space reality in a way that has never happened before.
When we leave this physical environment we will feel the ecstatic joy of our soul, and of our eternal self. Our consciousness exists eternally. But being here gives us the unique opportunity to have the best of both worlds. We get to experience our consciousness and our human self all at once.
None of us really know exactly how that will play out, and that makes us crazy sometimes. But once we get a taste of the bliss that very few humans have been able to achieve, we are willing to stick around a little longer to enjoy life from a whole new perspective.
