To Play is to Pray - Message From The Angels

To Play is to Pray - Message From The Angels
Message From The Angels

My dear friends, we love you so very much,

Play dear ones! Allow yourself to schedule time without serious purpose or plan so your spirit can remember what it is like to be free! We know you are busy. We know you have many things you want to accomplish this lifetime. We know you're responsible... yet, your life is so much more easily accomplished when you give yourself time to relax and seek joy in the present moment.

In your you play you activate new patterns in your brain. You get "unstuck" from habitual patterns in thinking, which in turn allows you to more easily receive your guidance. You laugh more easily. Your body chemistry shifts towards greater health and well being. You become more creative. You become more compassionate towards yourself and others. Play has great value.

What constitutes play varies with each one of you. For some it is taking a casual stroll in nature. For another it is shopping for and cooking a delicious meal for friends. It might be doing a crossword puzzle, looking at cars online, shopping, playing games, reading a book, figuring out how to build something, doing crafts, watching sports, playing sports, playing cards, decorating your home, and the list goes on. Anything that has no purpose other than joy is play! Even your work can become play if you love it enough.

Play need not be frivolous. It can be time to study something you've wanted to learn. It can be training a dog that gives you joy. It doesn't need to look or feel childish. It only needs to fill your heart with joy.

When you play, you pray. You elevate your vibration to that of the Divine Child. You surrender to joy. You find yourself rooted in the present moment where all goodness and all guidance occur. Enjoy your lives! Raise your vibrations. In doing so you will open for the Divine, and your angels to guide you while your minds are unfettered by worry and doubt.

Become, dear ones, as little children and you will find the kingdom of heaven.

God Bless You! We love you so very much.

Message from Ann

Hi Everyone,

I'm teaching my class today in Sedona! I typically do two a year and while there is a great deal of work leading up to it, the day feels like play. I wake up around 4:30am, and drive up north very early in the day with some of my dear girlfriends. We get coffee, set up quickly and enjoy Robin MIller's music as he warms up. I'm usually done with everything in time to hug everyone coming to the class. We laugh, joke, and catch up.

The angels fill the room with energy. My friends sit outside or in with beautiful views of the red rocks as they check people in and offer CDs for sale. We interact with each other, share presents and Presence, and enjoy reminding our selves and souls of the deeper truths that we are just wanting to explore a little more deeply.

Lunchtime everyone goes their own way. Some enjoy a peaceful lunch in town with new friends. My helpers and I and anyone else who wants to join sit at picnic tables outside with our gluten free, super healthy lunches while Robin devours a sandwich and chips and makes sure that we know it tastes really great! We laugh, buzz with angel energy, and go back in for the final few hours.

At the end I gaze. We hug again, clean up, and then my helpers and I enjoy dinner and laughter before driving home, filled with God and good and grace. It is truly a day of play for all involved.

I make time for play in my busy schedule. Before my day of gazing a few weeks ago I took off for a ten mile hike and went so far back in the woods I couldn't go any further without swimming in ice cold water. The silence was all embracing. The water was chilly but felt like it purified my soul. The red rocks were glowing. There were natural springs dripping over moss onto red rocks, green pools, and the towering cliffs reaching into that gorgeous blue sea of the sky. I stopped on the way back down the creek for fresh pressed apple cider that is so delicious I could swear it heals all ills! I was so filled by the day that the gazes came through stronger than ever.

I also like to craft, quilt, do collages, make bath and beauty products, soap, jewelry, and greeting cards, garden, read... and the list goes on! These "just for joy" activities balance the heaviness of my work as I assist people in their grief and painful transitions. They turn my brain off and my heart on. They remind me that the joy in life is in the journey and no matter how serious life gets, there is always joy to be found.

Play is sacred time indeed!

Here are some pointers this week to help you remember to play...

1. Schedule a block of time for play...

We're all busy. However a few hours, or a day of play will invigorate you so much you'll get more done in less time. Ideally you could do this weekly, if not create a frequency with which you'll promise yourself time to play, even if it is once a month.

Consider it sacred time. Unless someone you love is dying or having a real emergency, this is your time.

2. Plan ahead to make sure your time is yours

You may need to get others to help you with regular tasks. Your playtime may require a trade with other moms, hiring a caregiver for an aging relative for a few hours, or even hiring some help for things around the house that steal your time. If you can't hire someone, trade with others. If you can't trade, plan ahead and get the chores done ahead of time. You may have to cut back on social media, conversations that don't uplift you, etc... but if you really look at where your time goes, you can get creative about carving out a little time.

3. Plan your activity, even if it is unplanned time!

Make a little plan. What are you going to do? Read a book? Have it waiting. Watch a movie? Check the times. Binge watch TV? Get a comfy blanket, pillow, outfit and snacks! You get the idea. Plan your playtime as if you are creating a date with yourself or the others involved. You don't want to have to think by the time you get there. You want to just dive in and have fun.

When I hike, I take care of the chores before, make my lunch, set out my clothes, and put gas in the car so my playtime is responsibility free! When I want to sit and watch Hallmark movies over Christmas break, I get hot tea, raw honey, my favorite blanket, and warm pajamas. I make sure the house is clean, the fridge is stocked and then I sit for a few days filling my spirit with the creative efforts of those who celebrate love!

You get the idea... make your play date a great date!

While we all could argue we have "better" things to do, play is what gives us balance in our lives. It is anything but unproductive time. It is the same energy the trees use in winter while they rest in anticipation of new growth and new harvest. See if you can create a little playtime this week... or come play with usin Sedona if you can!

Love you all!
