I am a dragon. An air-breathing wood dragon, according to Chinese astrology, born under the
water-bearing stars of Aquarius. Earth > Air > Water > Fire — though my flame is decidedly violet,
the scales I’m growing: rays of blue/green. I seek to bring the gifts of Gaia's elemental kingdoms to
artful, felt union through the painted word. Nature is my subject, unlimited by place or notions of
projection, separation. It is the deeply integrated realm of the inner landscape reflected in all we
see that muses my writings, seeds my wanderings. This fulcrum is the substrate upon which my
work crystalizes. A solo artist, I am called to commune with like travelers over tea, neath canopies
of whispering trees, deep in the hallowed sanctuary of the senses. Here I find nourishment for this
journey of a lifetime. Taking cues from what becks and allowing the mystical forces of nature to guide
my way. I call it sense navigation & readily offer its counsel/mentor to those seeking to attune its trail
markings, its cairns’ meanings, its compass sensations — manna, these magical breadcrumbs. Should
you be so inclined, feel free to contact me for a little coeur a coeur, esprit a esprit. Local & “proximate"
encounters are welcome, for we are none of us strangers. I look forward to our travels, be they literal,
virtual or visceral. Namaste. ❤

A writer from the start, I have donned its many hats along the way. My first job out of school, per my
schooling, was on a community paper where I saw the state of journalism fraying into what it has sadly
become—owned. So I leapt and my creative spirit parachuted me into a career as a copywriter, though
my heart never went along for the ride. It took a while, but what I’ve come to see is the un-learning, the
felt experience, the soul-led grokking it has undertaken so that I might one day sprout my poetic wings.
That day is this.

π I live a stone’s throw from Walden Woods, being drawn from a long life on Massachusetts’ rocky shore.
It is a good perch surrounded by elder trees who teach me daily their ways — some of them old enough
to have enlightened the transcendental likes of Thoreau, Emerson, too, I imagine. Imagine. icon smile
