The Strangest Dream

One of my favorite historical figures is French writer and pioneer aviator Antoine de Saint-Exupery. He once said, “War is not an adventure. It is a disease. It is like typhus.”
Back in 1950, folk singer and songwriter Ed McCurdy wrote the song, Last Night I Had the Strangest Dream. It’s an anti-war song. Ironically, 1950 was the year North Korea and South Korea went to war with each other.
That war eventually embroiled 21 other countries. It was one of the bloodiest conflicts of the modern era.
Spirit
Antoine de Saint-Exupery’s and John Lennon’s words are accurate. War is truly a disease. It’s the worst disease humans have ever experienced. And the world has no idea how to act in the face of non-violence.
Its root cause is always within each of you individually. You are often at war within yourselves. Then the disease, being highly contagious, spreads quickly to those around you—humans, animals, all life, even to so-called “inanimate” objects.
The world peace so many of you say you want will never happen until you each make peace with and within yourselves.
That peace, which is just as contagious as war, will spread quickly to all that is.
That is the only way global peace can happen. It can happen in your lifetimes. You have much help, support, and love from Spirit available to you. It is there for the taking.
But you have to choose it. We will never impose it upon you.
You have within your grasp the power to create lasting world peace. And you can do it now.
Choose peace and we in Spirit will be there at your side, walking the path to peace you all truly want and deserve.
Peace and love are the only way. There is no other.

Pete Seeger was a legendary singer, songwriter, and activist from the 1940s until his death in 2014. His banjo was inscribed with these words: “This machine surrounds hate and forces it to surrender.”
Here’s Pete singing Ed McCurdy’s famous song, Last Night I Had the Strangest Dream.
In the early 1980s, John took a spiritual development course and was introduced to his first spirit guide, Lydia. After Lydia arrived, three other guides also came to him: Archangel Michael, Tamarra, and Chief Joseph. Today these are John’s four main guides. Besides his four main ones, John has various other guides. The entire group is really a multidimensional collective consciousness. John refers to the entire group simply as “Spirit.” Source
